Hey there!
My name is Fydrautha and you have violently and flamingly ("flamingly?" flamingly.) crashed into my tuning thread. I am a massive, massive petrolhead (as I imagine a few of you are as well...) and very interested in motoring and the history of motoring outside of GT. My primary goal is to share with you tunes of cars that I find historically significant, personally interesting or beautiful. I have turned them up to 11 because I like them that way; and I have focused on making them easy to drive reasonably quickly. If you are looking for the absolute fastest tunes out there; unfortunately, I'm not that cool :); but you should go check out some of the other fantastic contributors to this community.

I do most of my setup work at Laguna Seca and fine adjustments at the Nordschleife and Tsukuba.

All times listed are set using a DS3 and without nitrous assist unless otherwise specified. Nitrous is there, just in case, but I rarely use it.

I recommend Controller Steering Sensitivity (0) for Grip and Drag tunes and (+3) for Drift tunes.

Cars marked with an asterisk (*) have been updated for physics changes post 1.09

*Update 8/27/15* Trying to update the old tunes is a chimera that can never be defeated. I'm not going to try anymore. From now on they will be indexed under "Old Tunes." There will be a new, better organized index for future tunes.

This car almost looks better than the 250 GTO (almost). Similar power/weight but passo corto; so live rear axle presence is exacerbated. I absolutely love this car because it is a bit flawed. Like many thoroughbreds, it demands your undivided attention (and exquisite throttle control) to drive quickly; each lap a heroic effort. That's what an older Ferrari is supposed to do-make you a hero.

This car can be used for the current Ascari 550pp Ferrari Seasonal. It IS possible to beat the Enzo, but it is quite challenging-are you a bad enough dude to save the president?!

I love that this car looks like a total *******! Everybody is always like "THAT's a LOTUS!?" And they would have some justification in doing so; at 1330kg fully stripped, this has got to be the heaviest Lotus out there. Adjust braking distances accordingly.

Really, though, this car is more fun to drive than it has any right to be. You won't believe this, but the engine is a peach! It revs to 8,000 Rpm and absolutely howls! C'mon you know you like it.

Major credit goes to Voodoovaj for his spring rate formula. Balance would not have been possible without it.

I spent more than an hour screwing with the damper settings on this car only to realize that I should have trusted Ichishima-San's dampers to begin with. Ichishima-San is the president of Spoon; and If you have ever watched a Best Motoring or Hot Version video, you will know that a.) he really knows Hondas and b.) he is hilarious. But I digress; if you have never driven this thing in GT or avoided it because it is FWD; trust me, the motor will give you goosebumps. It is that good.

Edit: Ichishima was wrong about the dampers after all....
