Sorry if this is a bit amateurish, but I'm just getting started with photo editing.

I don't see how you can call this armature it looks great to me although the exposure settings could do with playing with seeming as though you doubt the car is that colour, so just turn down the brightness and increase the recover light this should bring the colours out well and then just play with the levels until the colours are about right.

In the Air Tonight.

Have always intended to re-create this particular shot that features in a number of episodes of one of the most influential shows of the 1980's. Fans however, will remember it forever as part of the iconic sequence from the Pilot episode, with a pensive Don Johnson driving his Ferrari Daytona down the streets of Miami at night, to Phil Collin's "In the Air Tonight". Enjoy :)

Man, what a backtrip! Your shot did it for me. This is one of my favorite scenes. I didn't miss the show (still watch it in Netflix) and had the Phil Collin's cassette album. I did wear some pastel colored clothing but ALWAYS wore sox with all my shoes!

Sadly I wasn't born at the time, so I can't compare notes though I wish I could

I can only imagine man. I started watching from scratch a couple of years back and abandoned it for some odd reason. I've been back on it lately and loving it more with each episode. I can only fathom the impact the show must have had back in the day. Yet I've got the Phil Collin's album and every once in a while am tempted to wear pastel colored clothing without socks

Glad you liked the shot buddy :)

So, i made another tutorial video, this one is longer and more in depth based on my speed edits. It's well worth a watch if you can bring yourself to sit and cope with me and my voice!

I'd like to think it's full of useful hints and tips but it's probably not!

I really hope you take the time to watch it because I took the time to make it!

Let me know what you think and if it's any help at all!

Anyway...Thanks for looking

👍

Ahhhhh, I think, this is my first photo featuring the Lancia Stratos which is odd because this car is awesome and it's always been one of my favourites.

I often think about a perfect scene, perfect light, perfect architecture, perfect car...just how awesome would it be to actually find yourself there one day?

This is what i imagined as i was thinking or the perfect scene and i pretty much nailed it now that it's finished and i love it!

The Stratos in the picture is actually Matte Grey but using the threshold technique i shared in my last video i made it look shiny. I think it's easier to control the lighting on the car by using Matte paint and making it look metallic in photoshop afterwards.

Anyway...Thanks for looking

👍

I love the misty, dreamy look to these pictures!
Glad you like 'em Lee. Initially, I tried to make the images look a lot crisper with a bit more punchy contrast but it didn't work out too well with these ones; so I opted for softer look to match the overall toning/mood of the image.
