@ScotteDawg Nice use of framing in the VGT shot, looks good.👍

And your GT4 shot is cool too. Have you tried recreating it with GT6?

Thank you! Not yet as I don't have that particular car at the moment! However, I will be getting one in the next week or two, so I will try then... Meanwhile, if anyone else can do it, go for it!

BTW, the location for that shot is on Rome circuit before you turn down the back straight...

Some time later........

OK, I relented and bought the Alfa! I took it to Rome and tried to recreate the photo from GT4. It didn't go well.

This is what I "captured" initially. I took the photo with my phone because....

...this is what the GT6 camera processed.

If anyone has any pointers on how to capture exhaust flames better, please let me know!

It would appear that either PD or Alfa Corp. don't want us to capture exhaust flames properly!

Hmmm, it might have something to do with the lighting at the location or the car itself... maybe you can create your own flames with some editing software? That's something I would do...

I'm a little bit useless at photo editing and stuff like that! It could be that I'm too old or something...

It's never too late to learn a few new things. There's plenty of tutorials floating around the forums and on the internet. Start with the basics, then work your way up. It's how we all got to where we are today.;)

There's definitely a problem in GT6 with capturing exhaust flames. I hope PD fixes this ASAP. And by the way, I think it's somehow related with a photomode bug, when FOV of a viewfinder and resultimg pic do not match.

I had exactly the same problem today. The only way I could capture any flame was to set the shutter speed down to 1/60th, but then it was a bit blurry and crap.

I don't often post here because I'm not that artistic, but today I just felt like it:

Here's a photo of backfires that I got from AMG VGT, I don't know why it rendered to be like this :odd:. The moment when I paused the replay to take a shot, the flames looks like real flames, but when the shutter goes it turned out to be like this. I have experimenting on different speeds, angles, and focal length and this is the best I can get :indiff:. Maybe it's like what The R!CE Guy said, I should create the flames by myself using editing software :D.
