Sorry but technically, "and on PS4 and XB1 as soon as Sony and Microsoft approve the new build" doesn't mean they had also submitted the new console build on that day. Just that they would make it available as soon as it was approved. They may have taken another couple of weeks to finish and submit that new build...

I thought he was refering to WWII

I must have misinterpreted it.

Well, yes, i was trying to say that you dont get in the same moment the patch and the DLC.

Not sure where you're getting the arrogant vibes from.

Neither do I.

You should slow down a bit, especially since you're all over the place with your statements.

@OooAhh Cantona was careful to write the date of Massarutto's post, but you didn't even bother to check. It's this one:

:) And I wrote that part like that in order to get the attention on that quote. Im sorry if huge, bold letters hurt you.

True. But in my opinion is a little bit closer to "we have sent the patch and will be on consoles as soon they aprove it"

As a German i should have known not to trust the Italians :D

Yes, we saw that the other week with that GIF of ex Italian PM Berlusconi..............

Ahhh look what i've found, he's playing "Hide the Salami" again! :D

Huh? Now I'm thoroughly confused. If you believe the patch has been submitted, why did you so voraciously argue against my explanation of the "uproar" from the console crowd? :banghead:

My reasoning basically being the history of game patches as known to the console world. This...
In all games it takes from 5 days up to 2 weeks the approval process.. (Project cars, F1 2016,Dirt Rally.. and so on)
(If patch is submitted at the time of Marco's approval comment)+(4 weeks since comment and no communication update)+(patch precedence of other games)= uproar.

You asked/commented on a public forum about the console community's impatience. I've attempted to explain why. If the math above does not do it for you, there's nothing more I can do. :indiff:

hey hey...keep calm!

I just posted what i've seen in the oficial forum and the reply to one user of Kunos big boss.
Personaly i know that an update submitted on the console goes from 5 days up to 2 weeks.
And i really think that the day marco did his comment they where still working on it,cause he didnt confirm that the update was send for aproval process.

And the last PC update took 2 months till launch,so why not the same for console this time?

Kunos only said that DLC on console will come in November, and the DLC comes once the update is launched on PS4 & XO.....so still 15 days time till end November..

I got patience playing with other games meanwhile, others no....

Ya know, I was thinking...about some of these delayed DLC packs, like the Red & PP1. Those two DLC packs contain cars on TM10. Is the TM self contained within each car's data files, or is there base code that is needed to be updated for TM10 cars to function on TM10?

So, basically, I am asking if console users NEED the software update before they can even drive those TM10 cars? If so, then no wonder they're delaying the DLC. If not, then forget everything I just said -- erase this post from your minds... :D

Didn't say anything at all but with what a mastery!

Ready to enter Italian politics.

I don't see any politics there. He is just being very honest: he won't commit to a date because if the updates are not available by then, there will be an outrage. And the approval process would add to the uncertainty.

We need to get over it. We very probably won't know until the update starts downloading on our machines.

Maybe the patch was rejected. Maybe they cant talk about it to us because whats related to the post of Donnced.

Now we are talking about that post? Im thoroughly confused too.

Yes I can understand impatience. But I just choose not to suffer it because is pointless IMO. The team is probably doing the best to get it, we wont know whats happening for what donnced is saying probably, we are going to get the patch for sure and I can still enjoy the game.

Indeed PD treatment would have amounted to one cryptic press interview every 5 months.
At least one of the devs gave you a cryptic answer personally in less than half the time :D
One thing that was kind of nice about GT6...the never charged for any extra content. Of course, how could they have the balls to charge when they under delivered so much. I'm not talking about those stupid freakin' Vision GT cars either. They pushed out quite a few cool cars at no charge. That was their way of telling us to "shut up!"

You know What's really killing this game for me and infuriating me? The absolutely ridiculous penalties! I just put one wheel beyond the curb on the last corner at Imola and got a 5 second penalty, i immediately rage quit as this is killing more than 50% of my races. I amassed a 30 second penalty at Barca gp on the last 3 corners of the first lap not because i was cutting corners but because i missed braking points. I gained no advantage but lost time and position.

This brings me to my age old question, do devs even play their own damn games? If it Isn't pitch black tracks It's stupid penalties ruining online. Note i am not cutting corners, I'm in many cases coming back on where i went off or simply grazing the grass.

I'd rather it be quite strict, rarely I've had any. Maybe 2 and pushed it for DSQ.

Though, it would be nicer if you could ease your penalty down a straight many laps later. Rather than instant DSQ.

I would tend to agree here. I want to know why they (any dev for that matter) can'y use a real life example and give you 2 or 3 warnings followed by a drive through penalty. Surely it would be relatively simple to have some sort of black flag system in these cases.

Obviously a deliberate short cut or cheat would still need a DSQ. But then if you take recent events in F1 where Lewis Hamilton can cut a whole corner and get away with it it still makes one wonder ;-)

This has all been a big beef for me. I'm doing hotlaps and it stops tracking because I screw up when I'm really trying to just improve my own race scores. I quit a race because of stupid penalties and I also have this problem with pcars.

about Vision GT cars.
i still waiting for the remaining cars.......

Just a quick question regarding AC vs. Pcars - are the car physics in AC based on actual real life whereas SMS guessed the physics for each car on Pcars? Or are they both based on real life testing? Just wondering how does AC get it apparently much more accurate....

I own a PS4 pro since yesterday, is anybody notice a difference on AC ? The game seems a bit smother, but this is maybe only a placebo...
I hope there will be a patch to increase the performance

Yup, some penalties are frustrating.. That's true.. but learns to no do the same thing /approach the next lap/race..

About your old question.. yep,in the case of Assetto devs, the play their game online quite often, even the big boss Stefano Casillo .

If a game don't have an update to use the extra performance of the PS4 Pro the console runs the game limited like it runs on the normal PS4.

So it's only placebo in case of Assetto Corsa.

Let's see if the devs want to use the extra performance of the Ps4pro or not.. because that's only the free decision from the devs to do it or no...They aren't obligated from Sony.

Can someone tell me why it takes so long to get a patch approved? Bethesda got their Skyrim patches approved within 3 days after the problems were reported.

Is it simply because a "niche" title doesn't get the same threatment as a "large public" title? Should the same for all or am I mistaken?
