Agreed, they are striving to be just like PD!
Relax, man. It's coming. Get the app for your phone and download it. Pretty simple.

Kudos taking a page from the PD archives: share no updates or information with customers. How hard is it to just make a damn announcement about when the pack is arriving? That way we can plan our daily lives around that date/time. FFS.
Your in Germany,it's already out there.

Sorry double post

It's more than the DLC not being here yet for me, it's the fact that this stuff keeps happening for any little thing. They weren't ready for the console market and they still aren't!

Btw, can someone tell me how to break the differenc car's performance?

I mean there's stage 1-2-3 cars... are those of same stage with same performance?

Also there's gt2-gt3 gtlm cars do all these go together? i Noticed there was a strange car when i was racing in gt3 that looked like a proto and was freaking fast... is that normal? Also the C7 is a gt3 too?

Also there's no, like zero, touring cars? Or are some of the "stage cars" considered as touring cars?

I'm a bit confused after the very easy ways to understand car classes in all gts and PCars.

No, they just indicate different levels of tune.

Again no, and the C7 is a GTE (Le Man GT class) which is similar to GT3 in some ways but has more power and no ABS (if I recall).

Some of the stage cars could be considered that way, and its does have two Touring cars, The M3 and 190E.

Its mainly down to the smaller car count and greater ratio of road cars, its resulted in a lot of classes with only one car in it. It also results in 'cars within the same class' custom races giving some very odd mixes; I had one in which the Abarth 595 ('60s one), the Alfa GTA and Escort were racing against each other. The three are not even remotely close in performance with the Ford well out front and the Abarth way at the back.

Message from the Staff Member concerning the DOR wheel problem on PS4 on the official forum :

"We're hoping to go into submission with an update that fixes the issue early next week! We'll keep you guys in the loop, don't worry!"

@azidahaka I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say that the crazy looking car you saw racing GT3 was the Scuderia Glickenhaus SCG 003C.

There is a second Scuderia Glickenhaus vehicle in the game. It is the 2011 P4/5 Competizione, but I think that's closer to GT2 spec. Don't quote me on that - I'm trying to remember and it sounds right. But yeah, I'm guessing that's what you saw - the SCG 003C.

Just had a game crash, driving the Moby Dick at Spa.

It was very sudden: it felt like hitting a wall and at the same time the game changed the driving view and went to the PS4 menu. When I re-entered the game, it took me to the same spot, game paused and in 3rd person view. Some force feedback was also lost (rumble strips, for example).

After reseting everything, I played the same combo and after leaving the pits the sound went completely mute and came back again, one second or so later.

All very weird.

Been driving the KTM X-Bow & the LaFerrari on the Nord Tourist, & I have a confession to make. Even though the barrier is up on the toll booth, I actually stop & look right or left pretending to scan my ticket every time I head out. :embarrassed: I'm seriously geeking out & having my very own personal nerdfest! I'm falling in love with the Nordschleife all over again, & have warm fuzzies inside. Thanks Kunos!

Isn't that a great feeling? I remember when I first got GT6 and was shocked at how fun digital driving could be. However, I came close to giving up - I had gotten so sick of GT6. Thank God I gave Assetto Corsa a chance. I've had so much more fun with AC than I ever did with GT6...and I did have quite a bit on the PS3 game. The benefits of having this game on PC are obviously tremendous. There are a lot of crappy mods out there, but there are so many incredible ones, both tracks & cars.

The Nordschleife was my favorite track on GT6 and I've only loved it more and more on AC. It's funny, I often do the same exact thing you were talking about. I give a quick look both ways even when I'm driving on the track solo. :D It makes me happy to see another person having as much fun as I have when driving those roads. I know you were on the fence about getting AC a while back. I'm very happy that you're really enjoying it even with the considerable amount of bugs/issues that plague the console version. I have faith they'll improve it considerably...I really do. Kunos has restored the faith Polyphony Digital stole from me.

If you have 2 minutes to kill, check out this mod video. This dude painstakingly recreated all sorts of real billboards for a bunch of tracks, but the part I think you'll enjoy is what he's done for the Nordschleife. He's given it an autumn feel with tree leaves that have changed color and such. It really looks awesome. (Skip to 0:53 if u don't want to see the entire 2 minutes):

Unless Kunos add Pro support, the game will be identical on a base PS4 and PS4 Pro.
Does that mean that all games that want to take advantage of the extra Pro power will have to program support for it in the game code?

Yes, if there is no Pro patch then the PS4 Pro will essentially be the same as the base PS4. There are exceptions (Batman: Arkham City is the only one that comes to mind) where a game doesn't have a patch but runs better on the PS4, but they are very few and far between. From what I understand, if there is no patch then the PS4 Pro's GPU uses the same output as the base PS4, a developer has to add a patch in order to use the rest of the Pro's power.

Edit: If you're interested, check Digital Foundry out on YouTube. They have multiple videos comparing games on the PS4 Pro and base PS4 and they can explain things much better than I can.

Two more notes from my second go at the new patch:

- Calibration of the pedals can now be done in-game while on the track, with the game updating the pedal travel in real time. One can come to this conclusion by observing the new pedal graphics and trying out gradually increasing the travel input. Very nice and very welcome, especially for brake mod users.

- The sounds... Contrary to my initial impression (and just like @Nielsen mentioned), the damn sounds are still broken on various cars/tracks. It just happens in a different way than before, and that's why I missed them on my first try. While before we would get the sound cuttings during corners (or looking left/right), now it happens on straights and it has to do with both the speed (wind effects?) and the engine's rpm.
I really hope they get to the bottom of this.

I'm confident it has something to do with how the car sounds interact with the surroundings, but it's hard to say where the root of the problem lies. The way it happens when going under bridges suggests there is a connection. Perhaps experimenting with the different volume settings could help illuminating the problem. As we've both mentioned now, it's only some cars which suffer from the bug while others don't. I think this leaves some hope that it's fixable, but the question is if they'll get around to it. I still don't have an account of the official AC forum but it's definitely worth posting over there to let the developers know how players are affected after 1.09. Well, so far they've only changed how the bug behaves, so I'll be optimistic and consider that as a step in the right direction.

Before this patch, I was convinced that the problem was related with the wind (added to the left/right sound channel problems they had on the main menus as well). Now I'm not so sure anymore, especially after trying the RX-7 - in this car it was clearly an engine sound problem, which would manifest at certain RPMs. At least that's what it looked like to me yesterday.

Anyway, not sure if you're aware of this, but I have created a thread at the official AC boards dedicated to this problem. Unfortunately, I never had an official response, so I'm not sure if they've ever seen it (a simple acknowledgment would have been nice).

If and when I have the time I intend to do an update there, related to the new findings on v1.09. I'm just not sure when I'll have the opportunity to further study the problem and make videos, etc.

But I do encourage you (and others) to post there, even if just with a few words or a short video. The Panamera videos I posted earlier should be a good start.

You can find the thread here.
