- Calibration of the pedals can now be done in-game while on the track, with the game updating the pedal travel in real time. One can come to this conclusion by observing the new pedal graphics and trying out gradually increasing the travel input. Very nice and very welcome, especially for brake mod users.

- The sounds... Contrary to my initial impression (and just like @Nielsen mentioned), the damn sounds are still broken on various cars/tracks.
I noticed the auto pedal calibration as well, great stuff. I forgot to press pedals at 'press x' screen and didn't realize it til I was rolling onto Nurb GP in a 917/30, oh noe! :scared: The first brake application, the telemetry bar went solid red at less than 1/2 pedal, then... all good!

I haven't been noticing too many sound cut-outs, but the Carrera RSR sounds like it's got a bunch of loose parts jiggling around in it when you're off-throttle, especially at lower RPMs  it's like a rattle trap. I don't think it's a glitch, probably actual recorded noise, but it's not comforting. Gives lots of incentive to stay on the gas and keep the revs up!

Before this patch, I was convinced that the problem was related with the wind (added to the left/right sound channel problems they had on the main menus as well). Now I'm not so sure anymore, especially after trying the RX-7 - in this car it was clearly an engine sound problem, which would manifest at certain RPMs. At least that's what it looked like to me yesterday.

Anyway, not sure if you're aware of this, but I have created a thread at the official AC boards dedicated to this problem. Unfortunately, I never had an official response, so I'm not sure if they've ever seen it (a simple acknowledgment would have been nice).

If and when I have the time I intend to do an update there, related to the new findings on v1.09. I'm just not sure when I'll have the opportunity to further study the problem and make videos, etc.

But I do encourage you (and others) to post there, even if just with a few words or a short video. The Panamera videos I posted earlier should be a good start.

You can find the thread here.
I've noticed on xbox (patch 1.03) the sound stuttering only happens in cockpit view but not in dashview (without wheel).
Is this the same at PS4 ?

I had one in which the Abarth 595 ('60s one), the Alfa GTA and Escort were racing against each other. The three are not even remotely close in performance with the Ford well out front and the Abarth way at the back.
You can now add the Porsche RSR to that line up lol.

Yeah I would ignore those class groupings, they are all over the place on PC too. Can you pick your opponents like we can?

Is there a fan made grouping of all the cars? I like to plan ahead for future series and it may be very useful...

Edit: didn't see WhoosierGirl's answer

We can filter on TAGS in the car selection screen, i'll check them out again this evening see if it makes sense.

Good news for the xbox users :

"Hi everyone!

Firstly, we want to thank our community for their patience and understanding with regards to the Xbox One Update v 1.09 patch. Of course, we're disappointed that the patch couldn't be released in November, along with the Porsche Pack Vol. 1 DLC, but the team have been working flat out to resolve the issues and resubmit as soon as possible! :(

Today, we're pleased to announce that v 1.09 has gone into submission and providing all goes well, we'll be releasing next week.

We'll keep you guys in the loop with the latest. In the meantime, have an awesome weekend.

That would be useful to many i guess :)
Actually no, just went and had a sneak peak it's more like a general tag system like '4WD, 'Supercars' or 'GT', so you still get a lot of variations between horsepower or year.

Nothing on the AC forum neither i think. Not sure if it's worth starting a thread over seeing people on consoles can't pick their opponents for single races anyway?

I would have left that part out :D

I would LOVE it for one

With the Porsche pack out in the US, gotta say I'm very impressed with the 935! I was hearing it understeers like crazy on forums and Youtube, but it's not that bad. The 935 is probably my favorite car in the pack aside from the 718 Cayman.

I'm all over the 935/78 too. It did take me a short while to familiarize myself with the way it needs to be driven, otherwise it will understeer quite a lot in my opinion. Full boost and some fiddling with gear ratios for the chosen track makes for some great fun. My only gripe is that we cannot modify it with a Martini livery on consoles, but I do spend most of the time looking at the interior anyway.

I tried the BMW 235i cup car in a same class race and I got lapped by ALL the none 235 cars! Multi class timing and scoring would be helpful.
I tend to choose same make when in that car, and most of the road cars actually. So badly balanced as it stands.

Check these out: :P
