Please, come back after a day or two trying different cars. I always like to hear comments from new AC players - good, bad or indifferent - we've gotten them all. Plus, there are many helpful people in these AC forums. Cheers and remember: Careful with that axe, Eugene!
Thumbs up for Pink Floyd reference.

Bought the two packs that aren't included with the Season Pass, but forgot which cars were in them so didn't get to try them out! :dopey:

Planning on working my way through & trying all cars out one at a time.

Double thumbs up for noticing! :D

That sounds exactly like something I have done in the past. A few months back I decided to spend an hour or two with AC and because I'm on PC I have an obnoxious number of cars in my AC Garage. I often filter by Kunos so I am not distracted by mod cars when trying to pick one to drive. I remember thinking to myself "Where the heck did THAT car come from?" But, at least it was only 1 car... That means you're crazier than I am. ;) :P :D

I thought I read somewhere that Assetto Corsa is on sale in the UK for 10 GBP - or something like that. For that price, I really hope a lot of people give it a try. I mean, what do you have to lose at that price? If you guys know anyone who's on the fence and eligible to purchase AC at that price, tell them before it's too late! I'm so out of the loop though, maybe that sale has already ended. I hope not. I make myself look foolish too much as it is. :dunce:

It lasts until February 8th, so there's still plenty of time.

i'm just here waiting for the f2004 fix. at least it's fixed on xbox so it should be easy for them to sort it on ps4 as well, or at least i hope so!

Really? I've not seen that anywhere and can't see it happening.
I think it could come by end of the month for PS4 based on how they've done historically. Really I figured it would be here by now. Having heard nothing yet... who knows. Of course there always end up being problems for the poor Xbox folks.

Honestly there's not too much in this pack that excites me. Oh wait, Laguna Seca. Holy cow, forgot about that. Really want it to come now, lol.

That would be great. I'm looking forward to the Alfa 33.

I've just bought the Ferrari Anniversary pack for PS4. Love the SF70H and the F2004! I also discovered the setup crash with the F2004 pretty early on as I wanted to modify my setup for the special event on Monza . I spent a short while trying to find a workaround for it, with no avail :P. Hopefully a fix will come for that with the Bonus Pack DLC.

There's still things to look forward to with this game. Those who are on the fence should seriously consider picking it up in the PSN store sale.

Hmm. Could someone refresh my memory - what is the setup crash with the F2004? I don't drive those cars.

Kunos has promised a fix for the F2004 game crash.

The P4 and 312 are amazing too. I also really love the 812, was surprised as so many said they didn't like it.
On console if you try to adjust the gearing the game crashes, I believe.
Not even gearing iirc. Just trying to select a different tab makes it crash.

Can you get on the track and drive the F2004 if you don't try to make any adjustments? Like, you go straight to the track not the pits..?

The Ferrari 812 Superfast. It's like some Ferrari Project Managers were sitting around the lunch table pitching ideas and one of them said, "My next design is going to have an every dumber name than LaFerrari." Of course, the other Project Managers looked at each other and one finally said, "That's impossible..." to which the remaining PM's agreed. (2 months later) "OMG...That son of a B did it!!"

The Ferrari 812 Superfast suffers from the same disease as the Lamborghini Aventador SV, imo. Two big grand tourer style cars with tons of power and also tons of grip. Sure, you can throw them around, but they're still big and heavy 1600+kg piggies. Here's what really sucks for me. The Aventador SV is my "What car would you buy first if you hit the Powerball jackpot?" car. I love everything about it...It's gorgeous, imo. I've never driven one or been given a ride in one, but I am so bummed that I don't love the car in AC. There's just no drama with those cars. There's nothing to adjust mechanically - which is probably a good thing for me since I suck at tuning.

Yes to your question. F2004 is perfectly drivable. The 812 superfast is named after the original, It's also no stupider than SV, really. It just sounds cooler in Italian. I love the 812. I dont race it, i just drive in it. Only tried the SV on track but quite liked it, will try just driving it now though to see if i really like it.

Finally some news about Bonus Pack 3. From a Kunos' developer:

"Thanks guys, we're on it right now as the build will go in submission next week. I cannot guarantee a fix for the colour-swapping paints (they are reconverted nevertheless), but the Porsche liveries should be fixed along with the RSR.
Please note that the window for further fixes is now closed, thank you for your reports, but non game-breaking graphics-related problems are unlikely to be fixed beyond this point, I sincerely hope we have managed to cover all major mismatches from the PC version."

makes me think that the work on assetto 1 is officially done. oh well..but its been an amazing ride, that's for sure !

No, it's not.

What is official is that no more graphical bugs are going to be worked and he implies strongly that the development of AC1 is very close.

But that doesnt close the door for other updates.
Ok, I'll bite.

Ever since I remember following AC (before it came out on consoles) there was always known content to be released - stuff announced beforehand, teasers, etc., that users knew would come out, sooner or later.

What about right now?
Nothing is announced, no promised content is yet to be released (correct me if I'm wrong). So, if even bugs and glitches aren't to be fixed, what's left to come out, especially since they hinted at being working on something new during 2018?

So, yeah, of course it's not official. But given all the above, I'd say it's as good a guess as any other.
