In that case, I'd say they went all in on a gamble they shouldn't take.
Agreed, especially when devs do not check the results of this conversion process. For example, months ago, a guy on the official forums reported the P1 GTR (brown textures instead of black). Pankykapus said it was going to be fixed and everyone was happy, but when the update was released, the textures were still glitched (they just changed colors: from brown to grey). They were finally corrected by the 1.19 hotfix.

Hi guys, since we see some movement in form of hot fixes and some devs and staff asking for reports in the oficial forum, I have opened a thread with issues, bugs, glitches that are still in the game, I've also copy pasted some posts from other users.

Everyone that want to report and add is welcome, and hopefully we see all things fixed in the probably last Update.

Nice!

-Loading screen pictures of the new cars from bonus pack 3 are missing.

Are you sure? I believe these were not missing the last time I checked in PS4 version 1.19.

Could you please move the glitched liveries to the top instead of the bottom of your post over there? After all, most of the things you list are old issues the developers have not fixed after several months. It's probably better to focus on the most recent problem first, in order to better grab and hold their attention.

@Donnced

Ferrari 812 Superfast
-- "Rosso Mugello" is black
Maserati MC12 GT1 -- Blue liveries (Plain blue, Risi Competizione) turn black
Porsche GT3 RS -- Orange paint turns red / Purple turns black / Probably others are messed up too
Porsche 917K -- Gulf Livery turns white (not sure about the exact skins) / #32 turns black

These could be more specific, as these liveries are glitched depending on the distance to camera, as written to explain the Mazda Miata NA issue. It's also worth mentioning that there may be several other glitched liveries players haven't yet found / reported.

Maybe he's talking about loading screens for Laguna Seca.

Working fine for me.

That's my fault. I quickly wrote a brief description for each one, thinking that pankykapus would understand what I was saying. After all, he understood what was wrong with the MC12 GT1 and said it would have been fixed (never happened though).

@DatNoiseV12 and @Donnced

I just checked to confirm the Laguna Seca loading screens in version 1.20 and the Bonus Pack 3 car images were showing correctly while loading sessions in both solo Practice and Custom Championships. I'd say it has been fixed, or the issue is isolated to specific game modes?

Nice to know , last time I've played I didn't use any of the new cars , so i wasn't aware ..

Now the official forum doesn't let me edit anymore the first post.... :banghead:

So will add the correction as an reply .

Thanks

Anyone else having the impression that downshifts on the 250 GTO feel numb and weak, in terms of sounds and engine response?

same car, same track on ps4 and pc

compare the downshifts in the 3 first corners and the difference between the 2 versions is quite clear.

But you have to double-declutch by yourself - than it sounds like the PC-version... so i think this is not a bug?! I think the difference is that the pc gamer does this by himself and the player on console just downshifts without double-clutch ;)

Not sure. I tried without clutch/blip assists and still feels dead. This is the only car that feels this way...another user on the official forums said he was already aware of this, so I don't believe it's normal.

That doesn't seem normal to me and I don't think It's a matter of driving techniques and/or aids. Could be something similar to the Huayra's issues, even if those were related to upshifting.

Can be that one is playing with the paddels of the wheel for shifting and the other one is playing with manual clutch and shifter?

That can make a difference in the sound of the car while shifting

Did not know that. I searched a little more on youtube and found another video. Ps4, t300, no issue!

at least now I know it's not a bug!

actually, there's a bit of over-revving if you don't release the throttle when upshifting.

It can indeed make a difference to the sound on downshifts, but you don't even need a clutch pedal to compose the music yourself. I'm using a DS4 gamepad with auto clutch enabled and auto blip disabled. The manual blipping technique is more than enough to make the downshifts sound great. The Porsche 917 K sounds absolutely crazy when blipping the throttle just right on high-reving downshifts, and so does the 250 GTO for that matter.

If you had to setup your FFB from scratch, which car would you use or suggest? I received CSL Elite couple days ago and i'm constantly changing FFB, with old wheel it took months to find decent all-around setup.

Obviously a Classic Ferrari is undriveable with heavy FFB setup done for Lotus 49. Need to find something between.

I believe mine is also like this (standard PS4, T300 w/paddles) though several other cars have the same issue. I describe this as an inadequate and possibly ill-timed blip. Still other cars have a seemingly excessive blip (McLaren F1 GTR, Z4 GT3.) Here is a video I made and submitted to 505 support of the 962's wonky downshift blip in hopes of them correcting it. It was not addressed.

This forced me to go with manual blipping, which is awkward with paddles but I figured it out. It can be fun and satisfying once you have the hang of it. For some older cars with no auto blip issues I will even go manual now. But I am slower and inconsistent when doing it. Would really rather it just work right.

I honestly can't believe I never noticed that. The 962 is one of my favourite cars, but i still had to go back and rewatch my video on youtube to realize the issue is there.

Ah now i know why in my case it works - i do it manually! :D But i always thought that the option "Auto-Blip" is the thing that you can stay on the throttle while shifting up. (btw it´s deactivated in my case)

I just recently switched full manual mode with H shifter and heel+toe method. I still struggle with it and far from being serviceable but I'm gonna keep trying.

I've tried many times and just can't get on with it. I heel+toe in my real car every day and have for years (in a number of different cars) but I use the pinky toe method instead of the heel method and I just can't make that method work on my CSP V3s. I can do it on the sim but it's clumsy and I'm many seconds a lap slower so I just don't bother unfortunately.

Well, good news, they did a fix and all textures and glitches will be fixed for next update said by a developer
