505 have said this was just a mini patch, primarily for the multiplayer crash on PS4 for users with a lot of friends with a few bonus items
Bigger patch is coming before GT4 release
Oh 505 have now said GT4 is coming before the next patch so maybe that means we might get it quite soon

10GB update on xbox last night, not had time to check yet but surely must include dlc at this size

For whatever reason, Xbox updates are a complete re-download of the whole game each time. If you want the actual size, look at PlayStation. Think this one is around 320mb.

I thought the GT4 pack would be free for the buyers of the pre order period of two weeks. No?

Edit, my bad, no :)

There’s a season pass available on ps4 for $24.99 that includes GT4 Pack and the upcoming British GT Pack for Winter 2020. I just giving everyone on consoles a heads up. I will be buying that instead of getting the GT4 Pack alone.

Too late. oh well. Love the GT4 cars!

I let here an screenshot comparative between ACC PS4 version 1.00 and 1.05 (remind that 1.0 was even before day one patch, but surfaces and textures changed since 1.04)

I let version 1.00 above, 1.05 just under.

Day set is on 2019 season, nurburgring, 16.00H , optimal track ,clean weather.
Second one is 2018 season, Barcelona ,00.00H ,optimal track, clean weather.

Surprised how smooth framerate was on 1.00 ,no practically tearing, no dips with different races on day, night, rain with 19 cars on track.

AI on 1.00 was faster also and more awareness of our car (same settings of AI also in both)
I'm really surprised and for good with 1.00

The road surface looks so bland now.

Has started to look like this since 1.04 update, at least on 1.05 they bring back the windshield reflections that where also away on 1.04....

Rain phisycs on windshield took also a big hit on 1.04 and 1.05

Here I let a comparison between version 1.00 (rain phisycs/efects where the same till 1.04) and 1.05

Same track (Barcelona) 2018 season, 11am , torrential rain.

Yeah it's a shame they've done it. I assume rolling starts are still unfixed?

Yes they are unfixed still...and AI is slower and less aware of player's car than in 1.00 version... On same difficulty level and aggressive level..

I knew BMW's don't have indicators, but that they don't have wheels is new to me.

At least they add engine sound to the Audi gt4... wasn't there prepatch when GT4 DLC unlocked due an error in Xbox consoles..

They wanted to launch still an other patch after this one before GT4 DLC came available, but they didn't made it...

So, there some bugs and issues on the GT 4's (console versions exclusive issues) ,will have to wait to next update to get some wheels on the BMW...

Does anyone have some tips on getting to grips with the Aston GT3 Vantage (the newer one)? I find in both safe and aggressive presets to be very tail happy mid-corner, to the point as much as I like the car and want to like it in-game, I won't drive it because I know how frustrating it is.

For reference I drive the Bentley most often, and find that car very comfortable to drive on low and high fuel.

I found lowering the rear ride height helped me with the Aston.
