I’m honestly looking forward to the British GT stuff more than the GT4’s! Being able to drive Snetterton in this (my local) is fantastic. Oulton Park’s looking great!

Is there any confirmed info on British GT liveries or is this just a track pack?

I would imagine as a paid DLC it would include British GT liveries too, we've had a whole load of updated liveries in various normal updates so for there to be none in a proper DLC pack would be weird...

Any ideas what the bigger patch could possibly improve?

Thanks
Not yet, am keeping an eye on the 505 discord channel but no content info yet. I think until its right on the verge of being released they don't want to say anything too early in case it doesn't work properly and they need to remove it from the patch.

I have not once seen them even acknowledge peoples gripes over FOV. That's bothered me as much as not having FOV.

What is the issue with the current FOV’s? Due to the avatar steering not feeling quite connected, I run the bonnet cam, which also feels like it runs at a higher framerate.

*PS4 Pro console owner.

You cant adjust fov or the seat. Fov is probably around 65°, far too wide. I have mi e at 38 in AC.
I’m with you, I’ve only a 42” tv about a metre away so my calculated fov is 33 I think, though in ac I run 36.
What annoys me is that devs use the performance issues at wider fov as excuse that console cant have adjustment when most want more narrow fov which is actually rendering less!

That's my biggest issue. That and can we please get rid of the car/track consistency stuff on the upper right.

It's a sim, let us drive with nothing on the screen.
You can get rid of it. I've had mine off for a while now. It's in one of the options screens somewhere. Can't check right now sorry. IIRC there's an option to disable it for either single player or multiplayer, or something similar.

I've had it off on random races, but can't find that setting.

I'll dig in next time I log in. THANK YOU!!!!!

Nothing about FOV for console, bugger

Is that what would take care of the feeling that you're too close to the steering wheel in some cars? That's why I don't use the Huracan because of that huge blind spot that the A pillar creates.

You can set your ratings to multiplayer only so it turns off when playing off line. You can't turn ratings off when online (obviously)

That combined with seat adjustment

So it looks like as long as the game doesn't have a built in FPS cap, the series X will improve the frame rate. Digital Foundry posted their experience running backward compatible games and it dramatically improved a lot of games
Yeah it really might make a huge difference. Need Sony to tell us how the PS5 will handle backwards compatibility. I have a feeling not so well..

Use the “dash” cockpit view, it’s further up and doesn’t have the wheel in the way, which is pointless as you have a wheel in your hands anyway
I do in some cars. However that is not an acceptable permanent fix. The fov is still far too wide and the camera too low.

Found it, works great. Thank you guys so much!

also, now I can see the mirror graphics in some cars, yikes. Well, eyes aren't pointed there while driving anyway.

No just a small bug fix around multiplayer crash and controls locked error

Ah damn. The link to the MS store when some were able to access the GT4 cars said 9/29 as the release date so I was hoping that was still true despite the lack of info lol
