Some curious news on the official forums: Stefano is back working on the AI!

"Are you back working on Assetto Corsa [Competizione]?
- Temporarily, hoping to improve AI
Can you share details about the future of ACC?
- No I can't, so please don't ask about
new cars
new tracks
new modes
improvements

fixes"

There's a Twitch stream right now:

So it's official. Sailing boats coming to ACC to give the Bentleys a run for their money.

Blue: driving time left. Les mistakes in that arena

Red: What are these? Seems new to me.

That in the red box, the green light Highlights the status of your headlights. Green= lights on, Blue= enduro lights on. Not highlighted = off. And I noticed it lit yellow aswell which I reckon means damaged. Didn't verify that.

Edit: I haven't worked out the other 2 symbols.
Thr bottom one might be the indicators. I don't have any mapped so couldn't test.

At last console players get track limits warnings!

And Spa still sucks for me, framerate still awful at times through Eau Rouge.

Just curious, what is the (approximate) fov on consoles? And is it the same in cockpit and dash view?
Dash is much closer than cockpit, which is pretty wide, too wide for me but not as bad as Forza, for example.
I'm happy to play in dash primarily because the cockpit view makes the motec horribly flickery and low res in most cars.

I see the gt4 cars have been added but are locked. Im assuming the dlc should be coming out soon.

One question, I seem to be having a problem making my own team for the lexus, where I'm only available to the emil frey liveries. Is anyone else having this issue?

You can only use the real liveries on the Lexus.

Cheers to this thread for reminding me that there was a update. On a base Xbox S there is a noticeable difference graphically. Less screen tearing and everything looks a bit smoother. Haven’t tested out the headlights at night yet-how does one set time of day for a practice session?

On the left tile. In that menu where you select the practice or race or other things, a bit down you can set the start time and time acceleration.

AAARghhhh

I accidentally clicked Start new after I pressed Continue my career. The problem is that Start New is the default action. Should of course be Continue.

I was a thick two hours into the final (I think) race at Spa.

Another bug was there where an M6 stalled at Start / Finish. It kept standing there for an hour and on. In the dark difficult to see when racing.

I will report these.

I've done the same thing. Gave me flashbacks of the old GT's no quit confirmation halfway through a 24 hour race.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. The race was #@$@#% by that stalled M6 anyway.

What I also don't like is that, if you set a time in qualifying and skip to the next session, the time is taken away.

I tried to start at race at Laguna but Stolz span at the corkscrew under the rolling start and couldn't recover. The rest of us crawled a bit further down the road at about 3mph until the cars in front of me stopped completely, forcing a restart.
It seems such a glaring issue that is yet to even be acknowledged.

Yeah that's crap. But it's how it is in the PC game so I wouldn't expect it to change on console

Yep needs a time accelerator to skip parts quickly, say I'm doing a 6hr race and get disqualified I have too wait till the end or restart or quit, which just makes you do the race again.

Is there a way to get around that by going into the pits? So you don't have to do the full qualy length?
Not that I know of. It was complained about on the PC forum, there I think of a player set a time and then skipped forwards, their time stood but the AI went like 5 seconds faster than they would if they let the session play out. Excuse being that ACC doesn't do accelerated time and so the AI use pre-determined lap times. They just happen to be completely wrong.

Nice to know its not just console players with problems tho!

Yeah, the AI qualifies with ninja times if you skip a session.

It's not the end of the world. There's a workaround (sit it out). Everything else in AC and ACC on ps4 is just really nice.

I’m honestly looking forward to the British GT stuff more than the GT4’s! Being able to drive Snetterton in this (my local) is fantastic. Oulton Park’s looking great!

Is there any confirmed info on British GT liveries or is this just a track pack?
