Is that do with just the base game sounds or will this enhance Fonesecker'a sound as well?

Example of the new Fmod format:

Those trackside sounds

That sounds so much better! I've been trying to work out if sounds could be improved by using something like Roland's Variphrase or as an alternative, taking rising under load and descending off-throttle samples then pitch-correcting them so that FMod would then not warp the formants. That's what always spoiled the realism for me. Anyhow, if this is what the update to the latest FMod version results in, bring it on..

Can anybody explain what the Latency setting does in the audio settings? Is changing it something that could solve why when I'm in a pack of cars a lot of them don't make a sound?

Has Marco mentioned the 911 GT1 and RS Spyder LMP2? I would be delighted to see those badboys!

No. Someone asked him on facebook if the GT4 road car will be included and Marco decided to confirm this. The 911 GT1 has been spotted in the trailer, so it could be coming, too. The RS Spyder wasnt shown, so i guess chances are slim. But you never know...

There is a very small number of manufacturers where having 24 cars coming to a game from it will see many great cars excluded. It is a real testament to the breadth of the portfolio of Porsche.

I cannot wait until the first offering lands, and although the racecars I hope to see will not be part of it, there is still sufficient serious metal included.

Very true. I hope these packs will inspire more attention to Ferrari next year because that would be another manufacturer where all the essential models need more than 24 licenses.
