True, but it's hard to wait when you know that the demo is being played in every gaming event since one year, and that it should be available since september 2012 (from what they said at first)...

Well it would've been released already had Ferrari not stuck their noses in and said, " Heya guysa, wea wanta youa toa makea usa aa puta (sorry) intoa thea Assettoa Corsaa"

"Buta wea soa closea toa releasea!"

"BENITO"

"...THANKSA"

Dude this post is insulting . not funny at all.

No need to get impatient, game will be released when ready. :)👍

Of course there is. This sim has the most potential of anything released in a long time. It's very easy to get impatient

lmao, I love you digi, producing videos even for sims that aren't even out/ don't have much footage for and striking up some good hype. Early tech preview to you good sir!

Hello there! Finally, the work on version 1.0.0 of the Assetto Corsa Technology Preview is in progress. Therefore, soon, we'll see how the Assetto Corsa engine and GUI run on thousands of PCs. As the current development build seems to be stable and smooth on different configurations in beta testing, we are cautiously optimistic. The Assetto Corsa engine already runs all day long on dozens of professional simulators all around the world without issues; but gamers are a special breed, you know.
In the absence of any serious issues, we may be able to close off a public build within a short time period. And soon we will be in a position to also announce the minimum hardware requirements you will need to run Assetto Corsa.

We thank you all for your patience, we know you are looking forward to trying this build on your own PCs, but you cannot believe how many small details need to be addressed when releasing a build featuring only one car and one track.

Anyway, we would like to thank you profusely for your patience. We have a little surprise for you all: Following your suggestions, instead of using the 500 Abarth, that will be added in a future demo car list, a guest-star car will be included in this Tech Preview. We are confident that you will appreciate it; the car manufacturers in question have already sent us their approval to include it in this upcoming benchmark. It is a perfect match for the Magione racing circuit, a lightweight sportscar perfectly suited to the Autodromo Dell’Umbria’s switchbacks. We aim to offer you an enjoyable challenge, even if the Tech Preview is just a benchmark, and is not to be considered a full demo of the Assetto Corsa racing game.

Sounds like we may be getting a Lotus! :D

Yeah, seems so - need to buy me some NKP right now to make sure I ll get into it!

The way Kunos operated so far, I wouldnt be surprised if they used the occasion to announce a new license with their tech demo though. Jag F-Type, MX5, GT86, Alfa 8C even. Possibilities are endless! :D

Hehe, hopefully.

Hmm, that track doesnt exactly ring my bell but at least its none of the same old, same old.

Even tho this one seems a bit boring, I love how they pronounce their italianness with their track selection, hopefully they will do the same with the car list later on (Alfa, Lambo, Mazzer, Lancia, maybe some historic stuff like old Abarths, Fiats, De Tomasos or Alfas).

Am I the only one NOT enthused by that? At the start of the race in the previous trailer, the A.I. suddenly jerks to the right and pushes not one, but two cars off of the track. :guilty: That can't be good... They'd better fix that one soon.

That might not have been AI. Haha!

So, you've been playing with the Assetto Corsa developers' groups? Kidding, of course, but, I would hope that it's A.I.

Everyone says that PC gaming is better online than GT5... But that was a GT5 online dirty move.

Dude, the game is still WIP and its the first AI they are programming AFAIK. Cut them some slack, I m sure they ll still work on it till release day. And to think its all meh because of one dirty maneuver... Personally I prefer some AI Grosjeans to the AI polonaise snoozefest in GT.
