Thought that's already officially confirmed.
Even if not, I already know a really nice Nordschleife that's WIP for rFactor 2 and GTR². It would be ported to AC for sure.

Damn i'm an idiot. I just looked at these 2 pictures and was about to say how amazingly realistic the second picture was

Maybe I "Should have gone to a certain UK spectacles supplier" ...

I have to say this looks probably more likely to appeal to me than all the rash of micro transaction games that are upon us lately.

But there are lots of alternatives coming up on the horizon so hopefully there will be something for everyone

Thought I'd update this thread with some WIP screenshots from PURE's Spec Miata and Roadster Mini-mod we're going to be releasing on Assetto Corsa.

Besides releasing it as a free download we're also going to run a league around it and GTP members get preferential treatment of course .

Not exactly, we're planning a couple different models/versions though. One will be a stock street car, and another will be Spec Miata... a racier version like GT4 or Cup car could come in down the line depending on popularity but we're currently juggling a bunch of different ideas: Flyin' Miata builds (like this one: http://www.flyinmiata.com/projects/targa/), LS swap, rotary, (just different engine profiles/power and sound).

But before all that gets out of hand, we first want to crank out a Miata so we can start racing asap!

After that, we will be doing... other things.

And the skype communication is a great idea, as long as people don't abuse it.

However, Wardez, as this is GT Planet and presumably most of us have played GT5, we won't be happy until we have 80 MX5s, 79 of which will all be the same car, but with "EU" instead of "J" or "'00" instead of "'01".

Can we also have 75 virtually identical GTRs next please

Z4 GT3 is too low and wide

I made some comparasations and I realized there are two different versions of BMW Z4 GT3 in real life:

2010 version, the "normal one" with a not so pronunced widebody, single flap on front bumber and smaller rear wing.

2012 version, which indeed looks more low and wide, but it's how it's meant to be in real life. This version has a double flap on front bumper, a bigger rear wing and also different side mirrors. The car runs in an italian championship so Kunos probably used it as reference for their version.

Small update!

"Working a lot on the small parts of the model, I made the wipers, the exhaust, rubber around the windshield, turn signals etc... Optimised the rims also, and the polycount was all good still left a bit room for details. "
