He's saying it's not in the same spirit as most demos. Yes, you can classify it as a demonstration but it's not a real demo in the true sense of the word.

It is a demo in the true sense of the word. Grab a dictionary.
Though I believe you mean to say that it is not a demo in the common sense of what is seen as a game demo. Though that is wrong too.
You see, for many years game demos have been released. Some were even only exclusively shipped with a previously released product, others were only distributed via gaming magezines for example.
A couple of examples are how the Metal Gear Solid 2 demo disc came with the game Zone of the Enders. And how now with the Zone of the Enders HD game disc we have a Metal Gear Rising Vengeance demo included.
In this case Kunos will give anyone access to the demo to those who bought their previously released game, nkPro.
So yes, it is still a demonstration of an "incomplete version of a product".(quoting your wiki link)
So you can't tell me it's not a demo because of limited access, when this has been done more than once in the past. It clearly is a demonstration of an incomplete product, as they still need to polish the game (otherwise the full version could've been released instead).

Wow! Finally found someone who understand that the FWD chassis dynamics are the same as those of an AWD or RWD chassis. Such a nice sim to drive, my first car was the Abarth and wow, feels so nice, feels like a real well sorted FWD chassis there's still a bit too much understeer but I'm sure it can be dialed out with some tunning. For the first time I've tried a game where a FWD car doesn't feel like a soft floaty POS!
Can't wait for this Tech Demo and the full game to be released!

Gah, I can't hold on for the darn tech demo. I have my burpday tomorrow. grrrr... darn family members finding it necessary to celebrate me being closer to my death... how annoying when there are good games to play. 
Oh, I am not a game addict. Just a game lover. lol
But to be serious... I really hoped to play this the minute something playable was available.
At least I hope that all of you will enjoy it on my behalf.

They have to jump through hoops a small studio can never get through unfortunately.
Porsche doesn't historically have a great relationship with sim racing beyond unofficial mods of course.
EA has the license still. Don't know how Forza got it but they probably paid out the ass.
