^ I'm not a concept/prototype guy and will usually avoid these kind of cars in games, but that's actually cool.

What will be the primary competition for the new Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio? The BMW M4? We don't have the new M3, so we can't do sedan vs. sedan. Anything else off the top of your heads? Even including mods if you have to...

Definitely the BMW M4. Maybe the bigger Maserati Quattroporte and Porsche Panamera will provide similar competition?

There's a passable C63 mod (although W204 generation of C Class). If there's a 'Performance Pack' version of that (with 507hp) then that would be similar at least.

Well, if you stretch things a bit I can see some fun races against: M4, Corvette C7, 718 Cayman S, a Lotus or two, Mustang, SLS...

Hell, even against the 4C, for some you-can-catch-me-on-straights-but-I'm-quicker-around-corners action.

Pretend Race Cars is no more.

I guess he finally decided to cut and run when he couldn't defend himself from being literally in SMS's pocket. Though he came around when I accused him of this very fact on this forum, so who knows.

Just tried this after awhile of not playing it, and with the new updates, and it feels very different on Ps4. I'm not getting feedback from the road, before the feedback was really nice through my wheel. Not sure what happened or changed but it feels unplayable, is it something with my settings or...?

I still want to get Assetto Corsa. Though I have a steering wheel and though I use a game pad, I feel using a game pad with AC won't be very pleasing. And I don't feel confident enough setting up my Logitech Driving Force Pro. I haven't been successful using that Profiler. And so... I will hold off on getting AC for now. I will perhaps revisit AC in the future.

You on console?

No. I don't have a PlayStation 4 or an XBOX One. I was thinking about console Assetto Corsa prior to my recent post.

What's the problem with your wheel profiler? I'm sure people here would be more than happy to help you get it setup so you can start enjoying some PC racing. 👍

Well, I've tried getting my wheel to work with games like NR2003, rFactor, GTR2, and Automobilista among others. I don't use my wheel much; and while I do have an idea of how to use the Logitech profiler, I have had hardly any success getting the Profiler to work properly with games. So I basically just let this go and use my XBOX 360 controller.

@ALB123 uses a DFGT on his PC as well, iirc.

Oh, and I think he also plays AC... :dopey:

That sounds odd. There really shouldn't be much to do with the Profiler I don't think, you can probably find preferred settings for it on the internet and you just plug those in and away you go. I do notice that most of those are older games and I think they may have required a little more tinkering than modern games. AC is really easy to get setup and running on PC, and if for some reason you don't get it working to your liking you can get a full refund from Steam if you've had it less than 14 days and played it less than 2 hours so there's no harm in downloading it and having a go. Feel free to send me a PM and I'll be happy to try to help you (I'm no expert though). And yes, @ALB123 has a DFGT too and I'm positive he'd be more than happy to help you get setup too.

If alt tab is on the fly enough for you, then yes, plenty.
After some Google searching, I found an app called Race Essentials, which provides some data (RPM, boost, KERS left etc.), all in real time. I thought that something like that (with power/torque infos) existed, without having to check an external log file (if that is what other telemetry apps provide). My question was born out of desire to know power/torque/boost numbers (at different % and gears) for the 917/30 Spyder. Anyway, thanks for the answer.

I've never used it but maybe this will do what you're looking for?

It would be nice if somebody want to help with ffb. I switched 2 weeks ago to pc version and everything is fantastic except ffb. Im using TM 150 rs and on ps4 pro feels perfect with assetto corsaq. But i"m to stupid i guess to find same settings alone. So i"m being for help

For my Logitech DFGT wheel, in the Logitech Profiler I set Global Device Settings to:

Overall Effects Strength - 110% (this is subjective, but I would not go lower than 100% or higher than 115%)
Spring Effect Strength - 0%
Damper Effect Strength - 0%
Enable Centering Spring... checkbox should be empty
Centering Spring Strength - 0%
Report Combined Pedals... checkbox should be empty
Degrees of Rotation - 900°
Allow Game to Adjust Settings... checkbox should be selected/checked/not empty

These settings are pretty much universal with people running the older Logitech steering wheels like I am.

There is no Preset for older Logitech steering wheels inside Assetto Corsa setup, so we have to do it manually. Click on steering and turn the wheel back and forth and your steering wheel will be assigned properly. Click on Throttle and then press the gas pedal. Click on Brakes and then press your brake pedal with your foot. You may have to put checks in the boxes labeled "Invert" for the Brake Pedal and Throttle. I did. From there, just assign buttons the way you feel most comfortable.

Inside Assetto Corsa I have my Force Feedback Gain set to 100%, Filter 0%, Minimum Force 5% (That 5% is subjective. Start off with 0%).

In the Effects section I recommend leaving Kerb Effect, Road Effect and Slip Effect at 0%. After some driving around you may want to increase Kerb Effect to feel those flatter curbs a bit better...and you may want to feel that Road a little bit more, so you might want to increase those a little bit... But always leave Slip at 0%...It is such an unnatural setting...even Stefano, the lead developer of AC thinks its stupid.

I leave Enhanced Understeer Effect unchecked. You might be tempted to use it. Go ahead and try it. I was using it for a while. All it did was reinforce bad habits for me. By time the Enhanced Effect kicks in I'm already well behind where I should be in counter-steering or braking, or whatever to fix my car's sudden understeer.

Those are my settings.

Thanx Alb1123 you are the king.
