Drove Assetto Corsa this afternoon, awesome, if this is the future of SIM, the future is bright.
Loved every minute, fantastic feedback, so glad I have the right wheel to give it justice.

Well, I think that the big hint is them trying to put emphasis on it being a DHL delivery. Yes, DHL delivers to and from anywhere in the world but I think this is them throwing us a big bone. Could be a new German manufacturer, either, so Audi, Porsche, or Mercedes.

Yes, because they already had a special relationship with them from previous games. Porsche, as most people know, are governed by EA and unless you're Microsoft or Sony it's unlikely you're going to be able to afford their sub-license cost.

Kunos explained before that their previous license with Ferrari was very limited, and it has been expanded greatly for Assetto Corsa.

I'm not saying you are wrong, but I am hoping you are.

Yes I know, I'm just saying that's likely the only reason Ferrari are featured, because of their previous partnership. I doubt such a small team could have afforded a license for their cars otherwise.

Given that SMS recently told us Mercedes approached them to be in pCARS I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same with Kunos.

It's all about money and paying the asking price, Ferrari is the ultimate whore when it comes to licensing, there are ferrari watches( not made by Ferrari), Ferrari perfume(not made by Ferrari), Ferrari clothing(not made by Ferrari), there are even Ferrari shaving blades that aren't made by them!! Yeah, ferrari is available for any sim if they are willing to pay the price!

The only thing that relationship will do for them is make the licensing process a bit more streamlined if anything at all. Business is business and Ferrari is first a business second a business and third a business, just like every other company on Earth they are in it to make money, not give it away.
Why would they give Kunos a "special price" and diminish their brand's value because they've worked for them before? It ain't gonna happen, if anything the price goes up because they know their brand is a selling point in any car game.

Another factor is/could be that kunos is a small italian company and these are important times for italy so big companies are more inclined to help small business'

I've got a question for anyone who can answer it regarding moddling cars, I came across a site the other day with some great 3D models of various cars models and makes, Would these be transferable by modders to AC or factor? i'll provide a link if requested

I'm no expert by any means, but CAD data from any source should work for modeling purposes.

Ok thanks, They have a big selection of cars and bikes, There are one or two though that look a bit off to me but it would be great to see modders add them to AC

I'm really looking forward to what the community will bring to this new gen of platforms, specially AC with how the sim will write the physics for the cars instead of the modders having to figure out a new physics engine to write the physics for thor cars and projects. That feature alone will ensure a very good quality standard!

If you have to state that they are rhetorical questions, you probably shouldn't attempt to use rhetorical questions.

Personally if they're using DHL as a hint it could be Porsche, going by the DHL livery on the RS Spyder. I can't think of any other link between a manufacturer and DHL.
