Guys, any comments, how do you like V16T or not?

I like it, it is a really great add to the garage. It reminds me the one we had on GT4. I agree it can be compared to diablos. For me handling is as expected, as an old and heavy car. I also appreciate the cool attention to details as well as the "Brunei" version addition which differs in specs and sound. An iconic and quite unique vintage car, excelent work much appreciated!

I didn't understand adjustment because appearance has changed a lot at new CSP version.

Fantastic, and beautiful! First track I've seen with animated helicopters, although the movement path is a little janky and the rotor blades look odd at this stage. God first step though, I'm sure it'll get refined.
Love the animated LED billboards too, but can I request a second set without the dot matrix pixel effect? This plays havoc with the resolution of the Rift in VR and is a Moire nightmare. It's why I kept the similar ones at Le Mans just as plain images.

As you said, performance is heavy. I'll try disabling the helicopter first but at the moment in bright daylight I'm getting a very erratic framerate just with one car (980ti/6600k).
Great work though - a fantastic update!

On my side, I plan to revisited them all later, cause in the process I learn new techniques and I want to apply them to the old ones, to bring more life, depht and details to textures, also to adjust some color on some of them (lot of work in perspective)

O wow. This is unbelievable. Everything so polished. The textures, the ai, the moving stuff, the night theme,... everything. And it runs oon very high fps. Very good job man. And all that in under 80mb zip file. Really impressed.

Wow. This has got to be one of the most impressive tracks for AC in a long time. The lights are fabulous and the animations for the signage around the track is nothing short of amazing, it's unlike anything I've ever seen in this game before.

actually Brunei version is someone other work, i didnt do this
 
Remember that weird black screen issue with Zolder a few weeks ago? I've just had it triggered by an early test version of a scratch-built Trial Mountain from the AC Mods forum .

FPS is really high for this kind of track (AVG 150 on my system (alone on track) - I wish Baku had these values). It all looks good, night lighting is very nice. Chasing the chopper is fun too. :D

Only 'issue' I get (but maybe that's just me): each time I start, it loads fine, but as soon as I'm in the car ready to go, I get a 'race cancelled' and I need a second start up.
Then it works fine. It's been a while since I had this message appearing.
I'm on latest CSP/SOL btw.

What in heavens name is going on with some of those visuals though haha. WSIR does not have a ferris wheel, nor do the paddock buildings look correct. Nor does the Budweiser Balcony building appear to be in the correct location. Very awesome that they cranked it out, but visually it's not accurate :(

you're not wrong, as i mentioned, happy to see people putting the effort in to make it happen regardless! I'll hold off on my WSIR fix for another few weeks when I'm asked to test the beta version of the track we're building :).

Hi i'm the builder of the track, are you also making one? if so mine's kinda pointless as it's a one man band kinda gig.

The balcony building lines up with it's exact location on google maps so not sure what more you want XD

Also @Masscot can you do some balloons for this? as the track really does have nothing going for it visually, except a lot of sand.

It'll let you quickly drop a bunch of balloons in there (and you can choose how many and which ones).
I'll do a special track-themed balloon for you at some point too, but it looks like I'm going to be spending all day today trying to unbork my Rift, monitor display and audio, all of which have gone arse-up after trying that Trial Mountain beta. How can one track cause so much damage?

Here's a thought (unless you already tried it) but I find the best way to reinstall GPU drivers is by completely removing the old ones first, then reinstalling. Guru3D has a great tool to help with this. https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Boot into Safe Mode, remove the old drivers with DDU, then reboot back into normal Windows and install the new drivers.

Thanks for the link, just tested it, no crashes on my end. There's no scenery etc which is to be expected with an alpha maybe? The road is there in full and it appears to be more accurate than the current offerings but it is hard to tell really. It will be good to see how this one progresses.
 
In light of recent update to BTCC cars from Shaun Clarke and updated skins from enkay74, I'm putting here (for those who don't want to fiddle with it themselves), BOP for season 2018 that i was fine tunning for some time now, as the cars don't run very well together. I managed to get them to run within 2-3 sec in quali and 20-30 sec in a 5 lap race on all 9 track of the 2018 season, with also being quite agressive and competitive between each other. I also managed to make them run quite inline with 2018 championship standings. I personaly added a Subaru wrx from Rollovers TCR V2 mod, as it is a very similar car to Levorg specwise (the skin is not the same, but fairly similar), but this is not obligatory. What you need to do:

- Get BTCC mod 2.1 (https://shaunclarke35.wixsite.com/website/downloads)

- Get BTCC skins V2 (https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/2018-btcc-skin-pack-v2.32249/)

- Get Astra and AMG (links in skins folder readme)

- Get Rollovers TCR V2 pack for Subaru WRX (find it with google)

- Create a new tune with Assetto corsa tuner for BMW 125i and name it ''s1'', with only modification beeing ''increasing torque by precentage'' for 10% (If this is too much hustle for somebody, i could post a link to the car if wanted, hoppefully Shaun would not mind)

- Get my BOP (https://acstuff.ru/s/3un6)

Enjoy. It's really great fun, especially driving Alfa, Audi or BMW. Others are ok aswell, except Ford Focus. That one was not updated by Shaun for some reason. I BOPed it, but it does not drive as nicely as the others and it also has no sound (fixed with CM), and has the blurry windshield bug.

Don't stop making your version please. We've all been waiting for a decent WSIR for ages and now it looks like we'll get 2 so it'll be like Christmas and Birthday all rolled into one. Actually not sure that's a good thing :D

Zolder is still affected by this problem? If yes which version is affected? Thanks for the info
 
First message here, but I've noticed that full F1 grid mods for AC are in high demand, especially ones that are near impossible to locate here anymore (1971, 2008, ones like that) I'm going to make a MEGA folder with all of the full seasons I have, as in seasons with every single car rather than a couple of cars with a skinpack slapped on to have the cars for that season. I believe that I have 1971, 1975, 1976, 1980, 1982, 1984, 1986, 1988,1992, 1993, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2001, 2008 and 2010. If there are any other seasons readily available and free, then please do let me know. Some of the cars have been replaced by higher quality versions available, such as the 1995 Ferrari or 1993 McLaren, made by ASR. It's quite a substantial upload, but hopefully I'll have a link for you all fairly soon.

Apart from those crappy ol simdream payed mods, One's i have found free is 2014, 2016 and 2013. 2013 and 2014 are on RD and 2016 you can grab from Assettoland by ACF1mania i think it was
