As I said, digging a bit and using our imagination, sometimes we achieve unexpected goals.
Let me add that when I decided to make it a GT4 car, there were only a few offers of this class.
try it and if you think it needs some tweak, just Bop'd it.

Because @slider666 recently released a new config and vao patch for Mantorp, I decided to make a quick pits extension for it (also not a part of my Pit Extension Project):
- Mantorp Park Raceway -> pits extended from 22 to 30

I created a separate layout with extended pit boxes and start positions. Just download and drop into your track file, it won't overwrite anything. You do need the have the original track though.

NOTE: I also created a new pitlane AI, because the original one did not work for me. It's included in my layout with 30 pits.

I see, it means that it is a Kunos car, but you just made a tune for it somehow and is in some pages ages ago, correct?
 
I have a Porsche 926C, unfortunately I don't remember where it was from. But it has an absolutely fantastic sound! Unfortunately only in the car, the external sound is missing. My question: can someone create a suitable external sound, or can I help myself with CM? It would also go very well with a 70s F1 car.

After a 5-day hiatus, Assettoland has finally uploaded some mods, including the Audi Q7 V12 that i've recently updated.

On another subject, i've been inspired by a post from GIBBONS a few pages back, so i decided to update the 1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata by Kunos and here's a list of issues:
  • Massive drag coefficient preventing the car from reaching it's advertised max speed.
  • Incorrect power/torque output. Kunos' car has 115hp/135Nm at the wheels! So basically, the game is treating it as the 1.8-litre version released in 1994.
  • Incorrect curb weight. Real-life curb weight (kg) is 955kg, not 1,040.
  • Incorrect fuel capacity. The 1990 model has a 45-litre fuel tank as opposed to 48.
  • Three-ground colliders as opposed to one. Usually, unless really necessary, one ground collider is enough, since they consume CPU, especially in large grids.
  • Incorrect redline. Current value (rpm) is 7,250 instead of 7,000.
  • Incorrect final-drive ratio: In-game value is 4.10:1, when it should be 4.30:1.

This car is originally a mod that Kunos bought no? Like the 787B, When I download the Miata from RD, it's exacly the same less finsihed, so probably Kunos didn'treally reworked the car.

Yes. About 95% of the cars I try get opened up and something done to them. Especially when the model is good and there's just minor issues that can be changed in data. AC has become a Tinker Fest Simulator more than a Driving Simulator. :D

Exactly, even stuff that is basically spot on sometimes needs changes, take the NFS pack by A3dr, almost perfect mods... but I don't like the offset bonnet camera, I like it central so it gets changed, I also like all my cars to run comparable tyre compounds so the cars get an extra tyre option.

Good luck fixing the 240SX, it's encrypted so unless the original converter decides to update it, it shall forever remain broken.

For the life of me i'll never understand why people encrypt free mods, especially while, even though its encrypted I can still look at all the files and actually rebuild everything by myself. But seriously its like, oh no! I've made the improvements to the mod you released, how dare I! :P

Thank you very much for that. I tried signing up for that yandex crap and it's a mess. I don't know if my ad block is affecting it or what but half the time I don't know what's going on because google doesn't translate everything right.

I don't think I've ever had to sign up to Yandex to download from them in the past (they might have changed it) and i honestly wouldn't bother as I don't think many mods get uploaded there thankfully....if you really want that car I can grab it for you and host it on MEGA or somewhere that doesn't require a degree in languages and hosting

EDIT: It's wanting you to sign up because the download limit has been reached...normally at this point I walk away and look for the car elsewhere or forget about it and move on lol

Into config and no, sorry it´s unique for that Solitude 1964 track.
You can use the CSP spectator settings for imo most if not all Kunos tracks themselfes, as they use afaik all the some spectators. Other tracks bring their one different named ones.
But on the other hand who knows, you can always try it on every track for itself. Maybe in some tracks they use compatible ones or somebody else defined them with config?

Seems that this got a lot of interest, so here the updated version of the config with this spectators definition.
Enjoy it, but don´t forget to where to en- or disable "hide all spectators" in track adjustments. I bet we get elsewhere many questions here, like "...I have no spectators, no where even on orignal Kunos tracks, whats wrong with my setup?..." ;)

Haha yes I bet we will. Anyway, I want to get rid of the cars placed around so I will try another trial and error to remove them, too. Maybe the one with the signal can stay for good but the rest - meh.

Thank you, I would prefer none of the cardboard pseudo crowd on any track, to me, they look awful.
Most pseudo racing/rally banners, flags, etc... on any road track or hill climb should go to. The best example is that latest mod to highland. Who knew it looked so good under the cheap make up. I even wish the cars and tents still in the middle of fields would be gone too.
Race track without zombies crowd are also nicer to me.
The remove crowd option in CM works some how, but I would welcome a more radical eradication of crowds every where.
 
Here's the non saggy Nissan 240SX Stock
Had to reset the settings parameters and redo the suspension and alignment. While in there I added some spring and damping so it doesn't bounce around like a hoopty. Can't pack data or update the model due to encryption but you can change previews
Updated tyre model to V10 and upgraded AI. Now has Street and Semi-Slicks. Let me know if the Streets are too grippy, seemed really grippy for street tyres, maybe not.
*Forgot to mention, if there's a data.acd, delete or rename, can't remember if it has one as I had the car already.

Fixed it but it seems as though the street tyres are really grippy. Using the generated ones from Tyre Machines. What do you think?

Hm, does not work. For instance, the mesh is called vw_t1_01 and it is located in solitude1964-p2.kn5 but it won´t disappear. I have it like this:

FILE = solitude1964.kn5, solitude1964-p2.kn5, solitude1964-p3.kn5, solitude1964-p4.kn5
HIDE = ?peopleapolizei1_mu?, ?polizei02?, ?polizei01?, ?vw_t1_01?

I can understand you. I made my own version of Highlands without most of annoying stuff. Only these spectators where really difficult. But as assetodrive made also a version, I resisted and recommend their version...

Sorry, but when it´s so important for you, you should learn how to remove them for your own and share it with others like I´m doing it here. ;)
There are so many tracks, I´ll can´t and will not begin to open this keg, too... ;)

You have the code and could begin lurking on different tracks for the crowd and what ever else their names. This spectators on- and off settings could imo be "miss"used therefore too. At least for many things... I suppose. Never tested it so far. :)
I'm curious what's coming from that direction... :)
