Porsche 981 Cayman BFR ‘18

Beto Fernandez·samedi 19 mai 2018
  • Fictional and personal modification over the Cayman GT4 to bring a special “RS” version for the beautiful Cayman.
  • Inspired in the new Porsche GT2 RS.
  • Credits to Kunos for their Cayman model, and Forza 7 for the parts used to make part of the kit.
  • Highly modified 3d elements and hard “body-builder” works done over all the parts of the body kit to keep the Cayman body details and design.
  • 28 color combinations with 8 special skins. BFR skin by me (Beto FR) and the other cool skins by Ale CA. All colors and paints effect made individually and manually as allways.
  • HQ textures and Visuals.
  • Lods A, B, C and D.
  • V8 4.8-litre Biturbo engine used in the 918 Spyder and Cayene Turbo, with modifications to deliver 765hp. Sequential gearbox, and rear wheel drive.
  • Some parts inherited from the 918.
  • Time attack car handle type, a good mix between a high performance supercar and GT3 car.
hm the link doesnt work for me :(

Still can't find the link without logging in to FB. Any non-fb link for those of us anti social media?

Legend......Heyena The Boss just posted yesterday on the ACPursuit Discord Channel a new version of the Shuto map he's calling SHUTO REV7. Claims it adds a huge dock area and adds lots of PC fps optimizations. Can you investigate and find out if this "Rev7" is the full version of the map or is nigelae86 still keeping it close to his vest?

Giving a download link would help. Found it pretty easily with google search though: http://acpmoneysystem.altervista.org/server-2/
Seems like they are releasing the tracks and car packs for public again. Good on them 👍
I'll have a look and see. By dock area it seems like they are adding a new area that wasn't in the Wangan games. The previous version is only missing Minato Mirai area which is a loop at the bottom left end, not a dock by any means. Also, the map could technically be expanded forever if you want to. The Wangan games have expanded to Shibuya and Ikebukuro areas (which is a loop 3x the size of C1, attached to the top left of the map). It won't be "complete" until it encompasses the whole Tokyo and Japan highway system

EDIT: Just quickly looking at the track map, it's only the C1 loop with a dock area attached. Not even the whole Shuto system (file is only 400MB vs 800MB). So no, it's not the complete map by any means.

EDIT2: I can't even find where to enter the dock area. So far it's the exact same C1 loop, with a little better lights (for if you use a night weather mod). Pretty useless if you already have the rev6.

Google search -> https://et-ee.facebook.com/assettocorsacarmods/ -> *removed depositfiles link*http://depositfiles.com/files/ajadjfxn2
481MB and slow download

Christ, depositfiles *facepalm* Oh well it's better than nothing. Thanks for your help 👍

In a bid to save space on my HDD sometimes I delete 90% of the skins in a mod car and leave only 1-2 that I like. Since I don't race offline/online I don't really care about multiple liveries. Wish more modders upload only the base car and a separate skin pack to make file sizes smaller

Really nice new version of Targa Florio for AC.

Be quick, not sure how long this link will be active.

@Outspacer and @LeGeNd-1, if you can edit your posts to remove the Depositfiles link to the Cayman to stop that shyster from profiting from the work of others, the Mega link is:
https://mega.nz/#!kttizYCK!CpntJSVzGPk3umehauGKz1cqfzbbFNYnjk3qcTJMvYA

I didn't really want to post that link (you should join BZ's Facebook page and source it from there) but if it stops people using the rehosted Depositfiles link then I think it's the lesser of two evils.

I really wish GTP would automatically block Depositfiles links.

Using the compression tool in CM does a great job at compressing skins. That way you save space and keep the skins.

I'm using Adblocker but sometimes it doesn't block those pop-ups.

Other stuff I use are uBlock Origin, uMatrix, Scriptsafe, PeerBlock and Ghostery. You have to allow every page you visit for the first time, but I've not had a single pop up or advert ever since I've had these bunch of apps and add-ons, and I've been through all sorts of dodgy sites.

That Targa is the best I ever drove, still some issues with Montains and scenari appearing and desepearing but less than before. Good fps performance.
Takes forever to load, never seen anything like that with other tracks
How far is this version from the latest from Sim Traxx ?

Removed the link for you 👍

Is this Targa a newer version of the one floating out there? I had one marked V0.5 in my game (dl from Assetto DB). This one says V0.91. And someone else mentioned a SimTraxx version??? Gah! For a project this big I hope people just collaborate together and make 1 definitive version to cut development time.

EDIT: Seems this is a newer version of the old one. I see they have added a cut up version of the track (into 4 separate sections) to help us learn it 👍 Good thing, I don't think I have managed a full lap of the full track yet

Odd as this is, I actually never bothered with CM  I have a notepad file I manually edit with each car/track mod's name, version and source. I just prefer to unzip and copy/paste files manually in case anything goes wrong. I'm pretty sure CM does it just fine and quicker, but that's how I've been doing it since Viper Racing/rFactor days. Yeah I'm old school :P

Whoah.....Is this the new version from SIMTRAXX?

Ooops looks like the link is dead :(

EDIT....nevermind link is good and downloading now. Thanks Mascot. The question remains....is this version a leaked updated version that SIMTRAXX was working on? Who's the author of this one?

Nope, not a full version. There's just Yokohama Docks pasted in it (and no actual optimizations).

Dude! You must be crazy. CM is absolutely superb for a whole host of reasons. Dragging/dropping zipped mod files is just ONE of its many awesome features.

It's probably the same one. It says version 0.91 on the file, and the simtraxx website lists they are at version 0.92 now.

Do you mind telling me how to get to the Dock area? I've tried following the arrow on the map but there's no obvious off ramp around there.

Yeah I figures  I just had bad experiences with exe files auto installing mods back in my rFactor days. So I prefer doing things manually. Inefficient but safe at least (and if I mess up, then I only have myself to blame :P).

Sure thing; once you start from the "pits", make u-turn to left right after the left barrier ends, then drive towards the arrow. The docks ramp starts right before the huge turn to the bridge:

I wasn't expecting anything much at all from this bizarre Audi R8 Spyder GT by Assettogarage, but it's surprisingly good fun. It's a good solid mod, and these windscreen-free open-topped cars are always a blast in VR. The texture/shader work in the cockpit is particularly impressive.

Who makes these mods that just seem to appear out of nowhere?

I found about half a dozen new (to me) Audis on Assettoland. I thought I had everything from that site before it shut down, so they must be adding new cars and not just rehosting their previous database.
