I am using SOL 1.51, CSP 1.46 (but it's teh same with later versions)
I get very blurry graphics with CSP enabled, any clues anyone?
I am using the Kunos 488, but especially the others cars look too blurred.

With CSP disabled:

Does anyone have a clue what's going on?
Overall, I feel CSP looks terrible at the moment, whatever pp filter I use :(
I do not know if it is the same problem, but for some days, in the replays I have seen the cars blurred. It is solved by changing cameras and returning to the previous one. I explain. If you are in free camera (F5), you can click F1 and go back to F5 and voila, fixed. But it is a bit annoying. I am also in Sol 1.5 1 and CSP 1.46.

I'll try get a video up later as it will show better than me attempting to explain it. Basically the corners seem like they could do with smoothing out? I think anyway.

I have a few ideas about getting the cars to start, will let you know if I figure something out.

The bumps have been smoothed but the track is very bumpy, although I don't know if that is the case in the real world.

Found I couldn't drive my PCARS Nascar convert around there so I totally redid the physics for it and albeit a humble brag it is pretty damn good now. Check you know where.

AC was never good with the AI starts but I think CM/CSP is doing some funky things too, such as if you restart a race the AI can't seem to see anymore and turn into the nearest wall!

This shows what I mean, maybe a few of the bumps could be smoothed out more? If not it's not really a big deal, it's still perfectly possible to get the cars around without too much trouble.

I have this downloaded ready to try but noticed it has had an update since, so grabbing it now 👍

The problem is everywhere: in cockpit view, in mirror, and in free cam F7...
Everything just looks blurred and over-saturated, not natural at all.
Even if I use the Natural pp filter..
De only thing that helps is disabling CSP...

With all CSP options, there is multiple way to give you issue. Could be related to FXAA, MSAA and so on and so on.
Try to enable CSP , but disable all graphics options (Extra FX, Weather FX ...) It's a one click option in each sub tab (hope you use Content manager for that otherwise you'll have tp play with ini files).
Then enable it one by one to see where the issue comes from.

Hi
I looked at bathurst terrain data out of curiosity.
Maybe I think I saw a discussion about it on the previous page.
There is a place where it has dropped considerably

@norms: If you mean the wave-like vertical bumps (called 'porpoising' by Detroit's test drivers if extreme enough), yes, I've experienced them on a variety of tracks, although most often on ovals (or rovals), and from such top-tier modders as LilSki. They usually are felt first as long waves, then at a higher and higher frequency (and lower amplitude) until they disappear. I've never heard from anyone else about them, so I thought I was imagining things. Now I see my ass does not deceive me.

@GzeroD here is a VAO patch and CSP grass config for your Charlotte.

@LiquidSkyMan maybe you could divert your efforts to Legions version on the AI? Although I am going to try a few things including tweaking the starting positions so maybe hold off for now. We may have better luck actually getting the cars to start farther back, a bit like Daytona? What do you think @GzeroD

I don't know what is causing yours but I had a weird experience last night. Going through all the different settings of AA in Graphical Adjustments to see how they look on a new monitor, some looked blurry, some seemed to mess my resolution, but when I ended on SMAA, I got my godrays back and it just seemed to look "right" again. All voodoo hoodoo speculation but as was mentioned above, might be something there.

I was working on it too with the help (for the lights) of Slider. But this track requires some pole light which are missing on the main straight and on one or two turns in order to be all illuminated at light.

I made also some replay cams (which need to be fixed a bit) and as far as i remember my version works with AI (but it's passed at least 5-6 months since i worked on AI and replay cams) so i need to test it out tomorrow in order to be sure, but if LiquidSkyMan can do better is more than welcome. This track needs to be updated :)

That's cool, I'm sure legion would update it on the blog if there are improvements. Care to share you work so far? Be really interesting if the AI all start ok and would save me a few hours

knuckle wrapping would be unnecessary...
and thanks for acknowledging the post-content... happy reading...

just following up that you're up and running and having a hell of a time, that's all...
cheers

Hi racealot, yes, thanks again for all the work catching me up on history of the track updates. It's really great. The versions I found earlier where bogging my system down to 40fps with all the great new graphic options we have now. The track the community has been working on is MUCH better coming in at 80fps. Quite amazing and just have to bow to all that worked on this track! I'm a lot newer to the AC than a lot of you and coming across these gems is like winning the lottery lol.

Cheers back atcha:cheers:

Downloaded a grass.fx file off Discord for the Redbull Ring and now it looks like pure dog****.

Anyone has a fix / another grass.fx file ? Cheers.
Can't you just get it from github? Or even just use CM to reinstall the config again. I never thought the original one was that bad. Obviously delete any other configs outside the Loaded folder.

Github is the same as the one on Discord. And I've reinstalled it with CM, no chance, still looks like pish. Oh well.

After I uploaded the BRE 240Z I thought the Touring Car Legends Datsun 510 could really use some decent BRE skins so I put these together. Just unzip and copy to the TCL Datsun 510 skins folder. http://www.mediafire.com/file/p6iorc4fkpya33h/skins.zip/file
BTW, these will also replace the (inaccurate in my eyes) Bride branding on the bucket seats with the same plaid as the rest of the interior.
