All those retro SGT season summary movies on youtube have made me desperate to drive some old JGTC - so I (mostly) did just that! Put together some mods I found here and there and somehow they're all balanced and its some of the most fun I've had in offline simracing!

No GT300 though :(

Hi, would you be able to share those cars?

Thanks.

Hi, would you be able to share those cars?

Thanks.

Of course! The Nissan is the R33 LM from RD: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/nismo-skyline-r33-gt-r-lm.33073/

With this skin from RD: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/jgtc-pennzoil-nismo-nismo-skyline-r33-gt-r-lm.33081/

The Honda is by AssettoGarage: https://mega.nz/#!oSJSGKjY!akbwxdEx44c1GwplshFHWB-noY9aTN6AqyTWxMDiPP8/

With this skinpack from RD: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/honda-nsx-jgtc-98-skinpack.33526/

And the Toyota is from here: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/jgtc-2000-season-skin-pack.22200/

(Mod link in the readme)

It's not perfect, and a bit of a hodgepodge but its more than good enough imo

Guys, I had a random sweet memory of a track I loved in one of the SHIFT's. Does anyone have anything like this in their track list? If so, can you share it, if it's not a pay-mod...

I re-uploaded the updated version of V1 Auto World Tianjin which includes the south layout (a longer one), found here: https://www.hipole.com/tracks/v1-3-7/

Thanks for this. I like Polycode's tracks a lot but this one in particular is as smooth as glass - I think they'd all benefit from a physical mesh for some road feel and feedback.
@EvilGloomy, I believe you are friends with Polycode - is this something he's ever mentioned doing? Also is he familar with CM/CSP? He's still using static flags and old-skool grass.
I'm still hoping to somehow get to try Guizhou Junchi International Circuit one day.

Hello guys, I am author of this skinpack.
Also I want to create liveries for Porsche 911 GT2, SARD MC8 and Mitsubishi GTO (By RTM)

I think I will use Toyota's GT300 liveries for sard and Mitsubishi-Nissan liveries for GTO
Excellent work! I'm a big big fan of it, so many great quality liveries were in SGT back then

greetings... great circuit by the way... it now requires the appropriate amount of lighting for night racing ands it will be a hoot...

in response, all that you've asked for is on this thread, and not necessarily just a few previous pages... this thread is rapidly evolving and gaining momentum each passing day, so it may not have been that easy to spot...

foremost, both Detroit tracks mentioned (detroit and acu-detroit) did not have cameras, with Safi Heli being her kind self and provided one here...

afterwards, we had LiquidSkyMan redo the AI and much more here...

and then came the additional cameras on RD here...

note1: cam-files names are: camera_1, cam..._2 and cam..._3.
note2: without the 'cameras.ini', subsequent cameras are useless - hence, renaming the files if required...

basically, what GTplanet members are getting is a fully complimented track - with a lot of expertise, time, effort, love & dedication - so its really in order (and also polite) to express some level of gratitude to all members that have in some way contributed...

@safi hellie
@Foxeway
@LiquidSkyMan
@Masscot
@track_maker/converter/re-worker

here's a generalised kind reminder note for all requests:

please use the SEARCH function beforehand... do your research, the thread can seem confusing at the best of times, just take your time, cause it's mostly all here...

enjoy...

Sorry for missing that and the wasted post all! Much appreciated the info and not rapping my knuckles too hard:cheers: Also thanks to all the awesome modders hard work and who make this stuff available! :bowdown:

Thanks for replying @Diegonapoli10. I should have mentioned that the ones I am looking for are not related to the 'oita' one. I'm looking for an Assetto Corsa version of this one in particular:

[[Different topic]]: guys, I've done an improved ai line for Ebisu Kita as well. They won't launch off the hills now, etc. Attached. Let me know if this improved the AI for you. Took me a while to get a good line in the sections the AI would get wonky in.

Hi everyone, I´m getting the error "failed to decrypt model" on just one car. Already tried latest CSP and even downgraded to a few previous ones. Anybody knows how to fix it? It is an encrypted model, I´m just trying to get it in game, not on the showroom.

Which car is it, the creator has to give the decryption key to the content manager creator x4fab.

That can happen if you've edited the data of an encrypted mod

The architecture and the overall atmosphere of this track is fantastic, while also providing rock solid FPS performance. I just wanted to try out for a lap with the Alfa Romeo 4C, before I go to sleep, but actually stuck on it for 10 laps.

Thank you very much.

@Masscot : Guizhou Junchi International Circuit looks grand as well on the linked video, it is definitely refreshing to see these locations delivering such an entertaining track layout.

knuckle wrapping would be unnecessary...
and thanks for acknowledging the post-content... happy reading...

just following up that you're up and running and having a hell of a time, that's all...
cheers

You are the first person to complain. I'll admit the 2008 cars need to be fixed. What do you not like about the shaders? How would you suggest improving them?
Probably because im not colorblind. his cars always look like theyre covered in vaseline.
