Sim Dream just false-claimed my view on Bazza's 1500cc GPL Mod on my channel, so, that's a big fun.

I guess they own this mod they stole? Video was immediately taken down, no questions asked. I find this particularly funny because I was one of the Primary test drivers for this and the TCL mods; so it's quite amusing to just have my review of something that is free for everybody to enjoy on the internet immediately blitzed by a company who steals things for profit.


I'm probably going to just stop sharing my reviews of cars/tracks and how they drive and trying to help out the mod community if it can potentially get me in legal trouble, lmao.

Is someone know how to do this:
Got a car with 2 kind of tyres that you can choose wich one you want to use before starting the race.
Just want to change the default one, the one set by default before making any change, i hate to tweak my car, just want to launch a race and start the race, don't want to change my tyres everytime i launch the game...
I'm not an engineer, i like to drive, in project car 2, i learn mechanical to be able to tweak all on my car, now i cannot stand it anymore :)

-open tyres ini
-Find value [COMPOUND_DEFAULT] INDEX=
-change the number to change default tyre
- 0= first set 1= second and so on

Sim Dream has some good mods - the ones from other people that they stole which are actually decent. Including some from ASR/RSS and Bazza. I'm surprised they haven't stolen the DRM Revival mod yet - although I check back in regularly. lmfao.

These are my presets for AC (video settings) and CSP. Place them into C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\AcTools Content Manager

Furthermore, I strongly recommend to use the Horizon Shades PP filter (latest one 1.0) along with this and always tone down the exposure setting (TA exposure) in SOL Config to 25-30, depending on your screen.

Furthermore, set this in NVIDIA config as well:

You will get the most out of AC if you don´t alter these presets and follow the settings here in NVIDIA CP. Let me know your thoughts.

Thank you very much for doing this. I like the Horizon filter a lot. One favor please---can you provide the NVIDIA settings in English? My version of NVIDIA Profile Inspector is 2.13 and has some different options which make this confusing.

How do they have so much power?
I mean this place is scared of them too.....how come no one has gone after them?

Are they Russian by any chance?

This is an old mod by now. Didn't drive it for a long long time.
Forgot how amazing this mod was done. The handling is one of the best in game (imo).
Literaly, I can save a spin at high speed easely. Sliding is a fun task with this car.

Yes, when I was testing for Bazza during the creation of the TCL and GPL 1500cc mods, he gave me permission to post "Pre-release" reviews to build up the interest in the vehicle packs.

I made a review of the 1500cc cars driving them at F3ClassicTracks Sudschleife (No link to the paid mod) and talking about how each car felt to drive on the circuit, what it's strengths and weaknesses were, etc etc. And a link to the F1classic forum download of the pack where Bazza initially released it.

This video was made 5-6 months ago and had accumulated about 1500 views, which is a lot for my small channel of about 300 subscribers. I woke up today to a copyright claim from sim dream saying that the carpack was *theirs* and Youtube had removed my video. i have a counter claim out, but the video has currently been removed from Youtube and my channel is now permanently ineligible for monetization (If I had ever hit 1000 subscribers) because YouTube believes I'm guilty of Infringing on SimDreamDevelopment's copyrighted mod.

No idea why they're allowed to do this when everybody knows SimDream has never once made and original mod, only ever stolen/ripped mods and then charged for them, but hey. Whatever. I guess I'll just stop helping test drive and review mods for people. If I'm not getting anything out of it other than a threat of a lawsuit what's the point?

Why do people like that not have people doing this to them?
Why can't we just file a copy-write claim against them, i mean as no evidence is needed.

That is what i don't get, why are these people like simdream and RTM not having sleepless nights for ripping from Turn 10 etc.
Not to mention the dodgy tax avoidance way they monetise the mods.

They clearly have real clout because this site has been scared off in the past and has people linking to sim dreams website!

I watched them all with great interest, also following Bazza's progress and eagerly waiting for the mod to be published. How on earth is SimDream claiming it's their mod ???

I used your recommended settings 1:1. Did not change anything and for me it's perfect! Before I experienced sometimes some 'ghosting/blurring' effect while in cockpit view. Now this seems to be gone.
Only disabled Neckfx, I cannot get use to it for some reason. And enbaled AI flood for trackday (e.g for Nordschleife Tourist BTG).
For now I do not touch any slider anymore.

Maybe I am being entitled again, but this stinks and i hope i never see a link to sim dreams website on here again.

w00t, driving in my hometown city. One of the tracks that I'm really excited about. And since I was able to test it with your permission, I can easily say that the track oozes quality. Can't wait for the full release, brah!
 
I'm guessing that having crowds in the stands, has some performance penalty, right?
I'm not sure how track makers could easily do this, but maybe a better solution, is to have multi-coloured seats instead, so the stands don't always look so bland and grey(or whatever block colour they are)?

Guys, thank you. The credit goes to those who brought them to AC before me. I just made some improvements. During the week there will be updates on all the Brazilian tracks (Goiania, Cascavel, Londrina, Velo Città and Velopark). I did a test on Curitiba (ERL), the track is a disaster, I think I will convert it from scratch.

There's a way to report them too. Just email the registrar and report they're multiple copyrights infringement (whit the proves of that)
