All the cars are updates from 2.6 version cars, so all the old liveries work fine on them. You can find hundredths of them on their site

you can find more skins when clicking on downloads -> Liveries

Only those 2 cars compete in the 2020 V8 Supercars season anyway

thank you everybody.

which files need to be replaced for the 2.6 physics?

the data folder contain the physic.

Further, Isn't YT aiding and abetting thieves? Don't they have an obligation to research such claims and make informed choices? I'm not a lawyer, but it would seem sensible that YT could be held liable for actively assisting criminals in harassing innocent others.

That's not how it works, at present at least. (Fortunately, I have to add!)
The law, as it currently stands, obliges any "platform provider" (youtube, twitch, et al.), to immediately remove any content accused of copyright infringement, pending (voluntary) investigation.
This is the uneasy truce agreed upon between the internet- and media conglomerates.
It entirely favors the owners of "Imaginary Property" (as Legion would say), and leaves everyone at the mercy of the unreasonable demands of media companies, and copyright trolls alike. (You might be aware of the current "vod-purge" on twitch...)
The concession is that ISPs and internet platform providers aren't held personally responsible for content posted by their users. And this is a very good thing indeed, otherwise sites as this would not exist, I'm afraid.

I'm always late with these things. It takes a while to get through the list but I wanted to thank you for making this. I love it. You did a good job.
I needed more FFB so turned it up and I believe just raised the caster a bit to get a more firm wheel but I like this car. It's in with the TCL70 group and it's a go to for sure. Don't stop.
Many thanks for the feedback and suggestions. I also like a firmer wheel feel and will add your sugestions to the next update where I'll also include more suspension set up options in game.

New skin for Sergio Loro's track Rouen 60's:
I start retouching the vegetation to put it to my personal taste, and finish to tweak almost all textures, old habit, 43 files retouched, hard to list all changes, but mainly:
-all vegetation, trees, grass, soil etc
-the public, marshall, cars
-important ;) : change the white line for yellow ones (because the lines in France were yellow till the 2 june 1973)
-some wall
- ...

Nice! Did you resolve the ambient audio issues or is it an underlying bug with the CSP? I have a similar problem on another track. I know a few track builders are having issues with ambient sounds right now.

I couldn't figure it out in the end :( so I did what any committed, hard working modder would do and gave up. Sorry if it's a disappointment

Let me get this straight.....you made a video of some mods....and sim dream got them taken down??!!

How do they have so much power?
I mean this place is scared of them too.....how come no one has gone after them?

Are they Russian by any chance?

It's not Sim Dream that anyone's afraid of, but rather international copyright law.
If you don't comply with the law, you risk having your site shut down, as well as being held personally liable.
And since the law, as it is written, is entirely partial to the copyright holder, it has given free reign to all manner of copyright-trolls as well.

random... I finally found Sardian Heights. I'm doing OCD edits, texture improvements, creating AI lines, Pitlane fixes, etc. I want to share with you guys when I'm done. I love the nostalgia of lapping on an old rF track. My first sims (beyond arcadey NFS) was GTR and Factor. I'll post it up unless there is a reason not to.

[EDIT] I'll also make sure to make the Long layout as well. This one only has the short one.

Awesome thank you! Can't wait to try it.

Sardian Heights was originally part of the old classic Sports Car GT from 1999. Or was it Sardian Park? Bah, I can't remember anymore.

This is actually the converted GTR2 version I released years ago. I can't remember there being such bumps... it's undrivable now :)

If no one else is at it, i will tackle it in 3DSMAX
It's a great track, but really bumpy, can you convert another tracks? Thanks!

iks

Sardian Heights was a rFactor track.
I once reworked all the fictional tracks of SCGT for GTR2. I reshaped all corners in 3DSMAX.
Sardian Park

Chatham

North Point

If anyone would care to convert them and improve them for AC... would be nice... nostalgia trip :)

Fair enough. Don't want to go too far off topic and down this path.
But why don't people troll sim dream back? Give them some of these copy-write strikes?
Maybe to beat the s****, you need to be a s***....

No idea. I thought somebody would have sued the **** out of them by now for stealing mods and charging for them - but because many Modders work for free and don't charge for their works, they probably don't actually have direct copyrights on their mods which doesn't give them grounds to file a suit.

If one of the bigger made-for-assetto mods w/ 100% original content was taken by SimDream AND had a copyright on it - that would be an easy slam dunk of plagiarism and intellectual dishonesty/profiteering off of theft, though.

If SimDreamDevelopment is ever stupid enough to take an RSS mod or something by the DRM Revival team or VRC - I hope they copyright their stuff and get all of SimDreams wiped off the internet in return. That's a big "IF" Though.

You'd need a Mod maker with a 100% original mod -> Modder has paid for the copyright on that mod -> Sim dream steals it and charges for it -> Modder finds out -> Modder files suit -> Suit goes to court -> Court finds Sim dream guilty of plagiarism.

I'd imagine this huge burden of evidence for the original moder and the fact many can't even afford a lawyer/patent/copyright for all their mods is why this continues to happen. I'm not sure if it will ever stop. It sucks.

Its frustrating the situation for sure, I'm sure i speak for most in the community when I really wish something could be done about them. If only someone like Kunos could step in, but i assume that is far fetched. It has frustrated me for years their blatant stealing of others people work and the cheek to charge for the absolute minimum or sometimes no work done at all. I'm sure there has been many folk new to the Assetto community not knowing the full facts or some others paying, If they sell a few each time that's enough for them to keep doing what they are doing. Love your channel so sad news they have been targeting your videos, i wonder if they are also trying to restrict coverage of the superior free mod, so searches on youtube would find their videos and links to their shop page instead.

Anyways as said before don't mean to stray of track of discussion, just wanted to say my peace more than anything

OK so now we are having GT Sport -conversions of this quality?! Just when I thought I've just about seen it all... I'm awestruck.

Just have to wonder (and little bit complain), this happens sometimes with track: if one can't make powerlines that actually look like powerlines, why one must put those gigantic tube-stuctures in the sky? Luckily they were easily got rid off.

Excellent track anyway. Just excellent!

With regards to the Honda Civic Type R, I love it but I don't know why Esprit feels the need to encrypt models that likely aren't his to begin with anyways. Looking at the 3D models in the showroom is almost as fun as actually driving to me, and its a shame when the modmaker makes that impossible.

I don't wish to open a huge can of worms here, but I just want to get that off my chest.

Can you post a few s shots? Been almost 2 months since updating shaders or SOL - lifes stuffs.
If you want you can have a look at this video I made with all my CSP/SOL screen https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...ral-discussion.307899/page-1274#post-13134061

But meanwhile I received the settings with - in my opinion- better graphical results from Fallguy. Easy to copy/paste and test. You can find them here:
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...ral-discussion.307899/page-1274#post-13134100

Besides that I see a couple of new/updated SOL/CSP settings were released via RD. Haven't tested them myself (yet).

Hope it helps

that new tsukuba gt sport track.....oh my days..... the detail in that track!!

Astounding, i don't as a rule normally like doing cameras for tracks that already have great ones, but this i just had to.
So here is a camera, won't overwrite the already brilliant ones..

https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/tsukuba-track-camera-for-gt-sport-conversion.33831/

Love this track so did another extra one!
Add this after the one from RD to keep camera numbers in order. This track is insane!!!
