Scroll down a bitdoes anybody here know where to get the Lamborghini V12 VGT from? i saw it on F1&Supercars Challenge's channel i wonder how they got it.........
Hello,
i have a couple of early 90's Prototype C (coming from Virtua_LM), converted from Kenneth (DKS) am physics redone by me. These are: Allard J2X-C, Nissan P35 (not the NP35), Jaguar XJR-12, Jaguar XJR-14, Peugeot 905 EVO 2, Toyota TS010, Chevy Intrepid, Nissan GTP-ZX Turbo from 1990. I have also from LTK the Nissan GTP from 1985 and Nissan R91CP (also R92CP) also physics done by me because the dan bucsa and rtm are rubbish physics... Are you interested in these cars?
I was just navigating through the Custom Shaders Patch General Patch settings and stumbled with this setting (Force UAV flag, adv.), then I remembered that some of you had/have issues related to black screen - could it be the cause?

don't see it sorry...
Well then I am also confused, My first try would be to extract just the 'apps' folder from the new Sol download again and copy it into the AC directory and overwrite because those are still old app versions you have showing. Make sure to reset Sol config after on the last page just to make sure after.
Did you ever install any Sol thing with drag and drop in CM or jsgme method before?
This^^
I remember once, installing sol with drag & drop option., never used jsgme tho.
After reinstalling and reseted sol, still have previous version 0.8.

So, if you don't mind, I post some of my AC folders here. Please have a look and tell me if you need to see inside some folder in particulary.
As a PC noob, I surely have some files wrong or that don't need to be there.
Thanks for the help.

I've used a few things from sketchup warehouse, but I found they had hundreds of tiny texture files. So I set the view to orthographic or something (without perspective) and took screenshots from each side. Then I made a single texture sheet and rebuilt the model in a simplified shape. Much more efficient. Though you lose a bit of texture resolution...Wow, a lot of attention on those Denver tracks all of a sudden, haha. There's a lot of work still to be done on those, but they are pretty rough and I've learned a lot about Race Track Builder since I built those. The problems with them that I can see are:
The building models all came from sketchup 3dwarehouse so for a proper release I'd probably need to seek permission to use them. (After looking into this actually it looks like anything posted to 3dwarehouse is free to use so maybe not this one)
The textures from those models are all a bit blurry, but worse is that they are jpg/png so a massive conversion to compressed DDS needs to be done.
a lot of the textures are also just kind of bad and need to be edited. stuff like trees and parked cars on the side of buildings, etc
I didn't know a lot about how race track builder worked when I built these things so elevation on the side of roads is a bit... crappy looking.
As mentioned a few times AI is awful in indycars on these tracks, and with indycar being their intended purpose... pwned. I've already unrealistically widened a few sections and the AI cars still pile up there. I don't know enough about AI hints and stuff so maybe that could fix it.
I also went nuts and made it so the entire downtown area in the downtown street circuit casts shadows. due to the way i imported it into RTB most of the buildings are just one big object. Given enough time and motivation I'd probably want to go back and do that in a more optimized way, only having the ones closest to the track casting shadows.
the road lines are currently done with "string object" paint lines in RTB and I think going back and doing them with a material would make them look a bit nicer.
You guys are making me want to go back and redo these tracks...
Yes Gutbomb, go ahead and include/add my items with yours to make a complete track for you. I will be working on the "Streets of Denver" starting tonight.
Take care,
Dave

Thanks Ales, Yes I know that pack, very good work, with the 2 chasis variants for the Corvette, but this is the C6 face from 2014 season, for 2015, the category change the name, And the Corvette get the C7 face, I'm sure that some day I see the C7 variant, but sadly I can't found anything about it, I see the rfactor car, but I'm sure that for Assetto Corsa there is a modOh boy, if you don't know about the pack from IER, you are in for a threat. In general opinion, one of top mod packs around. It's 2014 season, but most of the cars comply to the 2015 as well. Take this pack (it has your corvette inside):
https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/ier-car-pack-1-uscc-mod.7348/
Add their IER paid HPD Ark (still one of the best paid mods around, a must buy IMO):
https://www.iersimulations.com/p13c-home.html
And their Porsche America Cup car, to add a little multi class racing variety:
https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/porsche-911-gt-america-ier-simulations-uscc-mod.27798/
Sadly never found the Ford Riley ecoboost version worth while to complete the pack, the only one I know is from RTM or Simdream, but that one is not good IMO.
So sad that IER is not developing anymore. Hopefully just taking a break. They put so much effort an passion into these USSC cars, that they simply could not fail.
It's a bit of work, but you'd get eveything back under control sizewise, and it'd be much more efficientYou might want to hold off on that one. I've done some changes which will probably break the existing AI line.
Yeah it's crazy how many textures are in there, but there's waaaaaay too much to retexture (it's like hundreds of buildings made up of many individual textures).
I do need to do something though because with mipmaps my kn5 is 1.5GB.
whats the track name of pic 1?This^^

sorry my hand still full atm, I still remake my old skins to ACC plus work with some company for their event. Not sure when I have really free time.@Baliwa or anyone, is there someone out there who could make a skin in Assetto Corsa based on what I’ve made on GT Sport?
I’d give it a go but I don’t have my PC at the moment
I scrolled down and saw this post. Surely this was what you were talking about.
Can people please stop double posting? I've seen a number of mod posts in this thread telling everyone to stop it, but it continues page after page. It's especially annoying when you have a bunch of pages to catch up on and the same people are making double or even triple posts, often for just one or two lines per post. Edit your damn post if you have something else to add...
Hi,
Does anyone know a fix when the windshield becomes blurry other than disabling temporal anti aliasing for interior cameras?
Thanks![]()
Great fun, but I'm getting really poor FPS. Is anyone else experiencing the same?
Around 70-75FPS but when facing the mountains a huge FPS drop to around 40FPS.
https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/mountain-route.146350/post-3206132
See also the renderstats of the plus and the standard track layout. They are the same.
I asked questions about it in the discussion thread on RD.
whats the track name of pic 1?
By the way, the Washington Track has the mislabeled "extensions" folder in it. If you've downloaded the Washington Track then you need to check your assettocorsa folder and cut paste contents into the right area. @pk3r72owns, maybe take a look at the folder structure. Disregard if you've already fixed it.
Yes, you can go back in and quote different people or tag different people. They'll see it.Thanks for reminding me. I'd completely missed this one - something to do with having to wade through all these double posts
Aiming this question at everyone and not just you Beezer but if I edit a post do users get a notification. If not what's the point in editing if no one is gonna see that you edited the post, and surely that would explain why double posting or at least making a new post is what people here do.
@Paulo Ribeiro
One thing, there is one folder named "extensions" which is wrong, It’s "extension".
A cute and paste the content between us is suggested but beware, some of the files could be old, so let the latest in "extension".
After and for Sol, I’m not able to ask you, I never wanted to use it.
Last, I prefer to install myself skins (simple) or other things because OFTEN, it exists some (little) mistakes in the way where They supposed to be installed or It adds an "s" or forgot one, when It misses a folder somewhere in the way to install something.
Cheers !![]()
