Physics or UI wise?

Physics-wise, yes. Proper track, spring rates, damp rates, stop distance, arb rates, etc... I'm not sure why RTM couldn't even get the wheelbase correct, that is listed on their website. I've also been redoing skins with proper wheel color options and a few colors RTM didn't do. Still not done with the skins and icons need edited but it's getting there. CSP also offers a way to incorporate more actual data in like brake disc size and piston pressures, I've even got the sizes of the caliper pistons :lol: One thing I'm not sure of how to do is incorporate all the available engine options. So far I've redone the LT5 Tuned and have made an 800HP LT5, now I just want to build the 650HP LT4 along with the 480HP LT1... ditching the LS engine options lol

Sorry that this reply is wildly outdated but I just finally ordered a PC and am acquiring all the mods I can...

Does anyone have a working link for the Rollovers Huracan Super Trofeo Evo? I can't get to their site and there was a link posted here but it said the content no longer existed. A friend of mine raced in Super Trofeo NA and I saw a skin for her car and I thought it would be really cool to have.

Ignore all that ACC stuff. Just put it in a folder somewhere and point CM app integration at the executable.
Thank you for all your advice, I had it to work. It is not for me, I still prefer LTH, maybe just because I am use to it. RHM felt weird to me, even a little uncomfortable, even though I am a seasoned VR user.
Switching it on or of is so easy with CM, I will give it an other try at some point, maybe on a baked track or at Nordsclheife, to see about the elevations.

@Shaun Clarke, thank you for 1.5, I used the Radical at Magione for my RHM test. I am very impressed by how that car looks and drive. This is great work you did, Thank you for sharing.

FANTASTIC. Great update.

Brighter LEDs?

To be INCREDIBLY nit picky, could the LEDs in the Motec display have glow added to them? The gear number turns red and glows as you redline, but the LEDs, as they "light up" are very dull in the daytime.

Also, @norms, Kudos on the skins!

Really nice, this Monaco Rallycross, but...please can someone post a good AI? Cars crash on the sides all over the place.

I know right? I tried to fix that issue. I'm no AI expert though. Hopefully one of our guys here who are better with AI will take a shot. (nudge nudge)

Could some good soul(s) make some changes to the recently resurrected Jacarepagua Historic track ?

Some ads/billboards look a bit squashed or have the wrong ratios, but the most annoying is this mirrored Olivetti:

And maybe a balloon expert could join too ? :D

I kinda like the balloon basket model that is used:

But the ads are the same, they all flock together, are very low above ground and don't move at all (or it must be VERY slow)
A bit disturbing after a while.
If it's not possible to have them moving it may be better to remove them imo...

This track was converted from the Automobilista 1 track, where they’re held down by ropes. I guess the ropes didn’t make the conversion cut, so it looks weird to have them floating there.

Was just going to comment on that. It looks nice, but I get 54 fps AVG alone on track and slight stuttering (triple screen setup) during daytime.
At night I get 48 fps which is better than I expected with all these lights.
So it will only be for hotlapping until optimisation is done. I know this can be better :D

Yes, my home town! Looking forward to testing it in a few hours when I’m home. Selfishly, I hope the frame rate issue is only for VR.

He says in a comment on you tube that work still needs - optimize - to be done. He gets 50fps with 1 car. I am going to try the
track tonight. Being from Chicago area, was looking forward to this track. take care.
 
His video shows around 20 cars and a solid 60fps though. At night.
He must have a monster PC.


Oops my mistake. it was another person that said he had 50fps with one car in the comment on you tube. you might be right Masscot, ChiQuiFReaky must have a top of the line PC to run his converted tracks. take care.

Sweet spot for me on his track is 8 cars (including me). I wonder what GRiD 2's grid sizes are like in the game for that track. Do they run small grids on Chicago in that game's career mode?
 
I just tested the Chicago track and in PRACTICE mode I get around 70-80 fps allot of the time and drop down to 40fps at certain times around the track. I get no stuttering and I am using my VR Oculus Rift S and with a pretty large screen size. I went to RACE mode and with 11-19 cars I am locked into 40 fps and still I dont see any stuttering or dropped frames. So I can race with 19 cars with no problems and seems smooth going - day or night racing.

One thing I do see though is the track side/border lines for the track are not setup for the AI very good and when the cars are bunched up will hit the walls on certain corners at the first laps of the race. Once the AI get single they do very well. I am doing some other tracks right now, but I am going to create better side lines for this track so I dont get any incidents.

Graphics on this track is awesome - allot of animated stuff - great night lights. I really like this track. take care.

Just tried a race with 10 identical cars (Abarth AC) and got 34.3 fps AVG (30.3 fps MIN) but seemingly less stutter than when I was driving on my own.

I don't see any animated stuff other than a few flags that faintly wave. Ferris wheel is not moving, trains are not moving. Am I missing something ?
