Hi all!
Any assetto garage mods?
I saw several mod video on YT says "Credit goes to assetto garage".
GT300 mods like the Subaru BRZ, the Legacy and some other exciting mods cannot be found elsewhere.

Top tip, after that happened to me once I started saving all my mods on an external hard drive so if it happens again I don't have to re-download them all. 👍
I really should do this before it's too late.
What's the easiest way? Just make a copy of the entire AC 'Content' folder so that all cars and tracks are backed up? Or do some other folders also need backing up?

Easiest way is having the original packed mods, otherwise you have to backup cars, driver, texture + the extension folder.

Nothing fancy, when I download a mod I unzip it, copy the folder, paste it into the appropriate AC Content folder and then also paste it into my Mods folder on my external drive. Job done. Then if I need to reinstall it I just go to my Mods folder on my external drive, copy the folder of the desired mod and paste it into the appropriate AC Contents folder. Inside my Mods folder on the external driver I have a folder for Cars, a folder for Tracks, a folder for Weather, a folder for Liveries, a folder for Originals (for backing up original files), etc. so I can keep them all organized. I do this for all my games that have mods.

@natloz76
Assettodrive mods here.
I'm always pretty impressed by AD cars. There's not a great deal to find fault with, and they are all of a consistently high quality as volume rip mods go. The cockpits are always bloody gorgeous in VR too.
Mainly Forza Horizon models, aren't they?

@The7thSense The admins on the other forum wouldn't like us debating the subject, so lets do it here.
I found it amusing that ACR calls it "their mods", which is clearly not true. At least four of them are from RTM, a handful from Assettodrive and Rallyworld. Plus two Matteo stole from Gentle Mind Performance group and the SF71H ripped and modified from Kunos own SF70H.

I think Forza M in general. It's not the best mods, but decent and quality is acceptable.

I'm still not sure what's happened. Who is complaining about who, and why?

It started when Hungarian SimWorld got their hands on ACR mods. When Matteo Vignaroli found out, obviously he was pissed and then they decided to spam all over their page having "their mods" removed. Then started behaving like a Messiah and wants everyone report if other groups/websites are spreading "their mods". Honestly, they are full grown men with the behavior of a 5 year old child.

@rshumi Yeah, and some of the mods are even the same, with nothing done to them. I asked Matteo what they did to the cars, since they are all the same filesizes and so on..He threathned to kick me out of the group if I didnt shut up...

Lol, classic respond by Matteo.
I don't get it why people stick or believe in this guy. He had back-stabbed so many modders in the AC community, and Matteo believes he is the innocent victim in this case. And when members put a question mark for what ACR is doing, they get threaten. Their childish display after Hungarian SimWorld leaked "their mods", I found somewhat embarrassing behavior from full grown men.

I've said before, sim racers #1 favorite hobby is arguing with strangers on the internet. #2 is buying sim racing gear and bragging about it to strangers on the internet. Actual sim racing is down around #12 or so.

Soooooooooooo true!

You don’t know what you’re talking about! Get the facts!! You’re just trolling!!! You don’t even have a pie chart like VBR! ;) :sly:

#3 - searching the internet for free mods?

#1 should be arguing about which sim is best. GTSport is NOT a Sim. Change my mind:cool:
