The one that has been posted earlier is the ADM Raceway.
Here is Moscow Raceway, but it's rather bad and needs lots of improving:

https://mega.nz/file/6LgDjRKB#1EgkuJKD7vJxzn6M_4MHXSphiKcM5HOExP_BDwQraM4

My problem with the Moscow Raceway is, that it only has one layout and that one is the short 2.5 km track (Sprint 1) layout. The rest of the track is open for driving. Maybe someone can add the other layouts. Please.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moscow_Raceway + https://www.racingcircuits.info/europe/russia/moscow-raceway.html

Layouts

  • "Grand Prix #1"

  • "Grand Prix #9"

  • "Sprint #1"

  • "SuperSprint #1"
Facilities
Track Distance Corners Grade
Grand Prix 1 3.955 km 15 1
Grand Prix 9 3.931 km 14 1
Sprint 4 2.661 km 12 2
SuperSprint 1 1.357 km 10 3
Full Circuit 4.070 km 21 N/A

Thanks Fana. That's the one I was looking for originally. The other Moscow track is pretty nice. I'll check this one out.

I might have the Buenos Aires track, but I bet I haven't raced it yet because of my hoarding :P
Thanks for the info on El Villicum. Maybe I can give it some love and bring it up to specs.

[On a side-note, random though]
I'm a GT500 junkie. Anyone else diggin' the Chivas GT500's?

Thanks mate, its been really hard recently with that virus going around but we are trying to scrape together time for the cars. We are experimenting with different cars at the moment and Charles has taken on some paid requests and jobs with other teams out of necessity. I expect the GT500 cars to resume around September. That will be the 2005-2006 season.

Also I bought a cg model of the new 911 turbo s. I then found out this was ripped from the Porsche 3d showroom so that sucks. Paypal are on the case though so i should get a refund.

Buenos Aires is included in that last track.rar, folder name "callejeroba," so you have it. It should be "easy" to improve (though it's always a lot of work).

However, Villicum, you'll see it will need A LOT OF LOVE to make it a good track. It might be better to start from scratch. Great layout. Poor mod.

The Chivas GT500 mods are really good, especially those that have been updated recently. They're right at home on the new Tochigi Racing Ring track mod, as well as Okayama, Fuji, and other tracks that match the schedule.

Cheers mate. I apologise if the updates arent coming fast at the moment for the older mods, work is rough at the moment.

Sorry for somewhat off topic and also probably you are sick of hearing of controversy at the moment with mods and things, not really what I wanted to read when I get home from work either..
I didn't see it mentioned here, I hope I am not blind, but I just saw this thread at F1 Classic.

"Closure notice of F1Classic forum"
https://f1classic.forumotion.com/t20384-looks-like-this-could-be-the-end-of-f1-classic-forum

The place is very quiet recently at least on the AC side but it has been around for such long time and now this copyright garbage seems like it may have made it way to threaten not just Bazza's posts there but the entire F1 Classic platform, at least on forumotion host. This is all getting very sad, where will these problems seep into next is what I worry.

At least it looks like the guys are trying to get the beginnings of a plan together to move the Forum and it's history of posts somewhere else.

Godda** this pisses me off.

So it seems like this is the way to go when AI will not seem to behave no matter how many times you set up AI lines.
https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/ai-line-helper.16016/

I'm going to try this with one of the tracks I've been trying to fix. Ambush Canyon which is really just a nostalgia thing for me. Loved the old Shift series. I've already fixed all the start and pit dummies, but the AI will not follow normally set up AI lines. We'll see how it goes. If it works, I'll do a little "AI dance" because there are other tracks I've tried to fix AI on that seemed impossible to get them to behave.

I totally appreciate your team's hard work, man. Your GT500 series cars are just soooo bloody good. Looking forward to seeing what you guys do next. Good luck. I know times have been rough. God bless.

So sick of this 🤬 to be honest. What's with Simdream going after Bazza and now the whole forum is under threat. How much more greedy can these people be? I was hoping covid and the BLM protests would open people's eyes that there are more important things out there, but I guess some people just like to play pretend lawyers over a bunch of pixels and lines of code.

Here's hoping they can backup everything and relocate, but even then there's no guarantee they won't get another complaint at the new site. It's probably just a matter of time before this thread gets a warning and get closed as well

(ESL misinterpretation perhaps)

LOL. I think it is just a case of violently agreeing with each other.

I have a shed load of stuff there. I hope the latest changes will prove good enough, as things get updated and added they appear in their own post in chronological order. So if for some unfathomable reason you forget to check my Blog daily then at least you can scroll down and see everything you may have missed.
Double linking is needed because of the backlog in content and that I wouldn't want to make over 200 individual posts at once lest y'all get lost again. (Remember I also have to keep track of my own stuff!)

Anyhoo :cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers: hang on it's already after nine here :cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers: thatsh betteah.

Hey Legion, forgive me if it's not my place to say. After I've never run a blog and I have no modding skills, so I can only imagine the amount of work and complications that you have to keep tab of. But if I can make one advice, could you add a (last update DD/MM/YYYY) besides each car's link? IMO that would be the best and easiest way for people to keep track of anything new.

Currently, the post that has a new car moves up, but each post has lots of cars so it's not clear which is new, and which is old. There are also the "highlight" posts on top of the page showing us which cars are new, and that's great, but obviously they don't stay up there forever and it's possible to miss them if someone doesn't check the site regularly. I gave up trying to keep up with all the updates in your site a long time ago because of how confusing the current system is, and I only drop by if something gets posted here. Which is a shame because all of your cars are genuinely amazing to drive and I'm sure all the updates make them even better.

Just my 2 cents :)

Thought I'd pick your collective minds as there seems to be infinite knowledge of tracks here

My online bunch want to do another GT3 Championship but I'm sick to death of the European normal suspect tracks and we not long ago did a Radical series in the US/Canada. I guess there must be GT3(esque) championships in other continents (South America/Australasia/Asia perhaps?) so wondered if anyone knew, or has run, a series with a bunch of tracks that are downloadable for AC?

Don't get me started on a whole-ass Facebook and Discord fiasco I suffered recently all because I just posted tons of screenshots of mine...lol

TBH I use the default RHM settings in VR anyway so more than happy to get 5% of my CPU back. :)
I get that. VR users don't need these up/down/left/right/back settings and if it improves performance it's a no brainer.
But additional to the horizon lock I also need these. Assigning them over and over on every startup is something I rather don't need to do.

Here is fixed Zandvoort 2020
Pit crew now working as expected, pit number 33 (tested ok with a full grid and me at the end)

edit: sorry but previous kn5 has to be modified so this version (renamed 1.24) is not compatible online with 1.23

Any chance of a re-up of this?

I actually did the AI for Ambush Canyon last night and yes, AI side lines fix the issues.

On the topic of AI, I finally finished categorising my tracks, updating the maps, standardising the UIs and taking preview pictures and now I'm on to AI fixes. From my testing I have tagged 51 tracks as having no AI, 109 as having bad AI (either ridiculously slow or totally stupid) and then a further 133 tagged as average AI (meaning functional but in no way a challenge to anyone competent). I'm currently working my way through them as fast as possible to make improvements with the aim being to get the AI for each track to a competitive speed and with an acceptable attrition rate, it won't be perfect but it'll be a huge improvement on those tracks that needed it.

Would people prefer that I make regular posts as groups of tracks are completed or wait for a bumper package of improved AI for several hundred tracks. To give an idea of speed, yesterday in a 4 hour period I was able to complete 8 tracks, two of which had multiple layouts and the first of which involved a lot of testing as to my preferred car and setup for recording lines. An example of improvements saw one circuit go from a 2:22 average in a GT3 car to 2:07 without too much effort on 100% AI.

@GIBBONS How hard was it to set up side lines for that? If you already fixed the AI on that track, I'll pick a different track for me to learn on.

Would you mind sharing your Ambush Canyon AI fixes? Maybe we can combine our efforts since I fixed the start and pit dummies. Unless you already did that as well? If so, share it up? That track holds a special place in my memories :)

As you want dude. It's already nice to have those fixes so choose what is the easier from your point of view.

The link is down for now on the Audi V8 DTM due to sharing a different version of the car with the team back and forth. We will have it ready soon.
Just doing last of the skins and fine tuning the physics to get it good. It's still going to have a couple of minor known issues but well worth sharing with people so they can enjoy it.

Thanks, now I understand. We look forward to the new V8 DTM

Sure, here it is (fast/pit lane AI plus side line files. As mentioned it's a quick job and only tested with a mixed GT3 grid so other cars results may vary): https://mega.nz/file/a89nmYIA#FoGlcgAGRzbGTmVei1As5J-Lc4HzYuVk0r75ja_zg04

I can't do anything on tracks except AI and basic cameras so didn't fix anything else. The side lines are just about the easiest thing to do in AC that I've found. It's just a case of being slow and precise, I find the Lotus 49 is the best car to use as you can clearly see the front left and right wheel so you can be really accurate as to where you set the boundaries. If you haven't watched the instructional video on the AI line helper download page, then do so and it'll explain everything.

No stress. Each update will now get its own post which will move it to the top of the main page. Version number is usually just the date but I can't get the Blog to use ISO date format within the post. So when a post reads thus 'Version # June 23, 2020' pls read that as 20200623.

Can someone who has working wipers, and the 2019 V8 supercars commodore zb mod, please see if the wipers work for you or if the mod has no automation.
Many thanks.

Thanks @GIBBONS, looks good. I'm going to need to open up the start/finish area a bit. Some of the objects to the left and right as well as the start/finish gate create a space too narrow for the AI. I'll probably pull into Blender and see what can be done without changing the spirit of the track too much.

@Popeye, negative. Wipers are not functional on that car.
