Since you're doing the Lords work here I would like to make a suggestion to you. What I would propose is that you make a new thread here in this forum. Reserve the first 4-6 post spaces so you have room to grow. Just type reserved in a new post until you have 4-6 posts you can edit (does anyone know how many characters one post will accommodate?)
Then we can ask @daan or an admin to make it a sticky. Kind of like the track list that was over at F1Classics forum. This way you can always edit your posts and they stay at the top of a thread and never get buried by a thousand other posts in a day. Just a thought.
Blasphemy!! Clearly @VheEth is doing the lord’s work with his AMS track conversions. :P

Any of you got an invisible small wall, after installing the 'rollovers_cremona__cams+images+vao' addon to Cremona track?
It affects also the AI.

q9qg.jpg
This is not related to the add-on, it's once again a small piece on the road called WALL something. It create a collidable object and every mod with a collider setted to low will have issue.
Take Kunos Audi TT Cup and there is no issue.
The mod in your picture obviously have issue and if you use the new audi v8 DTM, it will also have issue.
It's an issue with the cars. Track could easily be modified but I think the real fix must be at car side. But I don't know how to make a collider higher along with the car.

Just to clarify, the object has to have the name 1WALL to cause a collision, if it's just WALL, that should be fine. I use walls in Race Track Builder to make skid marks and as long as the name isn't 1WALL and just WALL it's ok.

Final Version of the AUDI V8 DTM 1990-1992 in out now.

Such a fun car to drive on the edge! I'm not an Audi fan but after a few laps at Brands, this is easily one of my favorite mods.
Thanks to everyone involved!

Yes you're right, to be complete the name is 1WALL_46_s0.

edit: if a car maker could be kind and give advice on where to get origin coordinate of a car and how to modify it ? I suppose it can only be modified in a 3d software like blender but I can be wrong.

Would be a cool feature if all of our track makers and updaters could update the initial track posts and leave the posts at the top so you can always just open it up and boom, you're right at the content. And yes, @VheEth is a heavenly saint that that will be placed in the annals of Assetto Corsa trackery do-good-isms.

Did you just replace the update or did you remove the old skins and then install the new update?
Look if the ext_config.ini are available in the individual Skin folder. Then delete it.

Hi,

I deleted all the skins and then replaced with the new ones. Now the headlight is working but the dashboard is still the same.

Thanks for helping :)

Here's Volume 6 of the Assetto Corsa Multiple Track Mod Review Project or ALTERNATIVE TITLES ARE HARD

Volume 1 - A is here.

Volume 2 - B is here.

Volume 3 - C and D is here.

Volume 4 - E, F, and G is here.

Volume 5 - H and I is here.

I have also added a Testing Car field to show which car I used to do the testing with. I'm going back and adding that to all the previous volumes as well.

This one has nice looking grass that could be enhanced with a grassfx update. The surroundings look good and I don't notice anything amiss with it. The track surface is pretty smooth. The mountains are a bit smaller than real life, but it's not really a deal breaker. Overall a pretty good conversion from rFactor.
Update: I adapted Sliderman's config INI originally made for the Terra21 version to this track and gave it some grassfx and it looks great. This was already the version to get, but with the updated grass it's even better. The updated ini for the grass can be downloaded here:

This one has a lot of signs that are badly stretched to the wrong aspect ratio and it basically just doesn't look very good. The driving is fine, and it has grassfx. The mountain backdrop looks cartoonish compared to the other one, but the mountains actually appear to be the proper size.

There's a bunch of inside-out trackside objects here, like tents and trucks where you can see the inside when you should really be able to see the outside. Street lamps glow red, I got stuck in the road near the last corner. Pretty bad. For how bad it is, it's still better than a lot of his pay tracks.

This one fixes all of the problems pointed out above. It still looks like an old track, there's only so much you can do with the source material, but it's leaps and bounds better than the Gilles version. This is definitely the one to get.

The track is bumpy because the mesh is pretty low poly, and the placement of the pit stalls is on the wrong side of the pit lane, but as far as Gilles conversions go this isn't the worst. It's not great by any means and not worth paying for.

Unfortunately the pit lane is not functional as a pit lane. That's probably a pretty easy fix. Some of the trees/bushes are a bit repetetive and the 3D grass could be replaced with grassfx but despite these shortcomings it's still better and more fun to drive than the Gilles version. This would be a cool track to revisit and fix up.
Update: I fixed the pit lane issue and added grassfx here:

This track has really harsh lighting, very repetetive trees, harsh transitions between grass and sand, an ugly grass texture, and is overall pretty old looking. Not horrible but not great either. There are better options now.

Basically the same as Tiago Lima's version with color corrected textures.

Now this one is beautiful. The road has way more feel, the grass looks great, the track has a lot of atmosphere, and overall it has had a lot of attention paid to the little details that make the place look real. This is one of my favorite tracks in the game. Then I started racing at night and fell in love all over again. This is a wonderful mod. Also included are the 2017 layout and a reverse layout.

This is a pretty rough conversion. It's got harsh lighting, bad and repetetive textures, and many signs with the textures stretched to the wrong aspect ratio. The whole place just looks crowded and blah. The road surface doesn't feel any better than this place looks.

This is a slightly enhanced version of the other one, but it's still not very good. There are many great versions of this track from different eras but it's a shame that this particular era is lacking in quality mods. This is the one to get if you need this track from this time period, but otherwise just get one of the other good ones.

This track is really fun to drive on in the right car. A Pagani Huayra was the car I used for testing here at first and it was definitely not the right car. (I usually let CM pick a random car for me for these tests and only switch it if it seems wildly inappropriate). Once I switched to the Formula Renault I had a much better time. Nothing bad about the way it looks other than some grass growing where it probably shouldn't.

This is a rework of the other version and it is mostly optimization and AI changes. It also fixes the grass. It makes an already good track into a great one. Grab this one!

This track is definitely old looking, but it's still pretty good. Main problems I have with it are that the trees are a bit ugly and yellow, and there's a lot of flickering in them. Not sure what the deal is with that. Trackside objects look fine, the signs look good, and it's overall a pretty cool rendition. The transitions from sand to grass are a bit harsh and there's some pretty bad 3d grass going on. With some modern attention this could really be improved...

Folder Name: zw_autopolis
Author: Zwiss
Download: http://www.mediafire.com/file/9g5hvh8mxflyesu/Autopolis_NFS_by_Zwiss_v2.0.zip/file
...Which is exactly what Zwiss has done here. The improvements are so numerous that it's hard to believe it's the same track. He's eliminated the harsh angular white road lines, replaced the trees with something that looks nice. Made the trackside look much less busy, added grassfx, and all kinds of little touches that make it more realistic. This is DEFINITELY the version to get.

So, this is the 4th one of these incomplete versions of this track out there and really, to be honest none of them are worth getting. Wait for the codemasters conversion which will come eventually.

It's a basic start but it really needs a lot more work before it's ready to release. The walls don't work, the trees are repetetive, and seems like it's pre-alpha. Plus the track is so large and the center point of the map is so far from the racing surface that everything shakes like crazy. I think this track is just a bit too big for AC's engine to handle.

Hi,

Thanks for the update on the grass of Jacarepagua 88, it looks much better! Could you pls do the same for Jacarepagua_br? That grass def need some improvements, hehehe

Thanks :)

For those who missed it, are not on FB and those who, like me, like how Dan Bucsa cars drive, he made a substantial update 2.1 to the 911 (997) gt3 rsr that won the 2007 LeMans. Including 47 original liveries that the car used over the years in numerous competitions:

I'm not on Facebook. :yuck:

EDIT: I've found the information I'm looking for. Thanks!

It's an issue with the cars. Track could easily be modified but I think the real fix must be at car side. But I don't know how to make a collider higher along with the car.

You are right, it happened with the new Audi v8 DTM aswell.
Tried with a few (no Kunos cars) more and didn't happen.

Super easy in Blender, I've moved a few cars that were positioned too far forward or off centre and you just select all objects, move, export, check how it looks and fiddle about with trial and error until it's correct. Not tried it with a collider as I tend to just copy whichever Kunos car is closest, but in theory it should work exactly the same.

The ONLY car I will like to get is the Ferrari 512BB because It's the car I dreamt to drive (just a few laps) in real life when I was younger..!

One of my all-time favourites from Ferrari. I'd happily have one in a glass garage so I could stare at it for lengthy periods. If anyone feels like donating funds for the cause, you know where to contact me. All I need is the car... and the garage. ;)

guys, first of all great comunity. Second wich are three requests:

1) which is the best version of Dubai circuit (possibly with multiple layouts)? If you can post the link or just the website I will be really glade

2) wich is the best version of the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione?

3) (and last) I've seen that AC Friends had the completly GT3 grid converted from ACC, anyone have any recently news on it because I miss the Bentley (gen2), the Jaguar and the R8 evo.

Sorry for bad English
