Sorry for the offtopic comment, but anyway is a curiosity that I think will make no harm.
For long time, I wanted to point this.

My father had a same Ford Cortina from your avatar's picture (the one on the right,), when they came out for sale.
First time I drove it, I had 14 y.o..

Please Guru, experts modders, there is an Escort from that period. It's about time to make a Cortina. Very please.

Updated Twin Ring Motegi Billboards and corner signs.
Still trying to work out the process of making the speed corner signs luminescent
This is an re - work of the existing original boards found in the URD track. (so it's a mix) and wont be released on RD.

Really cool, but I'm still getting Tochigi boards on overheads and a few other places....not sure why.

Not sure if it's a Cortina or it's twin sister Taunus really (which my papa had a couple of). :)

I would literally kill for a late Cortina or Taunus mod for AC. I don't think I'll ever see the day, those are such forgotten cars. Beautiful, magnificent cars.

True. In Portugal the Taunus always were named Cortinas.
I remember when they came out, many people called it the Mercedes of the poor. LOL
I have a few pictures of me making a few slides (my father was shooting the photos:tup: ) when I was 16. Was a RWD car.

TOYOTA RACING SERIES FT-50 PHYSICS MOD FOR TATUUS FA01

Hey all, this was a small project I worked on today. Not finished, but I'm happy with it right now. This changes the physics of the Tatuus FA01 to closely replicate the Tatuus FT-50 ran in the Toyota Racing Series.

Changes include:
- New Toyota 2ZZ-GE engine sounds
- More horsepower (189 bhp bumped to 211 bhp)
- Higher RPM (6500 bumped to 8000)
- Adjusted drivetrain

Not much, but still fun. Credits and installation instructions are in the file.

Now I have a favor to ask of the community. I'm not good at modeling at all, but if someone is able to converta model of the Tatuus FT-50 to Assetto Corsa, that would help greatly to the development of this mod.

Enjoy!

I see that "Mercedes of the poor" as compliment! Well said. :D

I think the last two generations of Taunuses and Cortinas were pretty much identical, biggest difference in names. In Finland Taunuses have been much appreciated, especially in arctic conditions. They rarely got stuck in the snow! On a good day of summer few of them can still be spotted here.

Brilliant! Now we just need someone to make some TRS skins for it!

Amateur question but note, I still don't have my PC yet so I've never driven a mod car of any kind...

Can I use an NSX GT3 skin on ANY version of the car? Evo, Endurance, normal GT3, etc... I found a skin I liked on RD but not sure which car to put it with or if it matters at all.

Sadly it does not work for this car.
If I change carpaint.dds into skin.dds it works partly, meaning it does not fit exactly right, there is no Blancpain window banner, nor the Vitaphone logo on the rear spoiler.
I am using this skin (and a few others) on the Rob Bonkers GT3 model already but when I tried to add them to the Sport version from Velo I stumbled into these issues.
The bottom one is Bonkers GT3, above is the Velo Sport version.
You can see the missing logo/banner and also the incorrect fit (look at the rear left fender: the MEDION logo e.g.)

None of the skins of the Bonkers version really fits Velos version.

Ok ive fix the skin to suit the Velo Sport version.

It matters. You can hit the "update preview" button in Content Manager to see if it matches the car. Becomes very important when you download a bunch of skins. There are lots of small things that can throw it off. And it can be very frustrating. I just finished cleaning my files up.

Thank you, I'll keep that in mind. Most of the ACC cars have had loads of skins already installed and that's been OK, but I definitely wanted more for the NSX. I don't have much familiarity with international GT racing, only in the US and nothing from GT World Challenge America is replicated in any of these cars :(

Would anyone be interested in a revived FR3.5 mod, but with a few differences? I'm planning on making it more like the 2010 spec Dallara T08, with a Nissan V6 instead of a Zytek V8.

I chose the V6 because the Zytek V8 was ONLY used on the FR3.5, and the sound is one of the major issues with the mod. The V6, however, was fairly common among Nissan's mid-late 2000's sportscars. The V6 is also actually 3.5 litres  There're also very little visual differences between the 2009-2011 T08 and 2014 T12, after they removed the barge boards from the T08.

I found these 2 tracks in some older GTP downloads today.
The downloads are somewhere here in the thread, did not find them any more.
They are a very nice start for very good tracks.
Especially the test snake track.

Anyone knows something else about these tracks? Author, new updates?
