Always personal taste but thanks for listing the differences anyways. When I'm done gardening and getting attacked by a Hawthorn tree I'll have a look and see if I can figure out the skins problem with the rear wing etc.
Velo already nabbed the skin, fixed it and you can find it on his site.

You must have done something good though. I just tried it and it drives much better than the version I had, which was close to madness. This one is fun to throw around, though I will need to fiddle a bit with the suspension settings. As they are stock the suspension is too soft and the car feels too heavy. It also gets airborne over bumps. :D
I'll try out Dragsters version and see if anything is different. Those tyres it had before couldn't handle the power and suspension settings and would just give way in an instant.

Hey everyone, i've got a bit of an odd issue.

I'm working on the graphics overhaul for Anglesey and have a FBX file of the pit buildings at the track.

When I open the .KN5 file in CM it looks like this.

View attachment 937969

But when I put the .KN5 file in the main track directory

content/tracks/anglesey_circuit

it looks like this.

View attachment 937971

The textures don't load.

This happens if the kn5 is placed in any track directory not just Anglesey, but if the kn5 is literally anywhere else, on a different drive, my desktop, anywhere else at all it loads in fine.

Needless to say, when I load the object on the actual track in game, nothing displays at all, so... it's very confusing.

I'd really appreciate it if anybody could take a look and see if there's anything i'm missing? I've never had this issue before.

This is a link to the kn5 in question.

Thanks everybody.

edit - this is how it looks in the KSeditor.

Also I have tried adding the textures into a textures folder but that doesn't work.

Open Anglesey.kn5 and pit_building.kn5 with 3dSimed.

Click on the Pitbuilding materials and show in which folder the textures are.

note in which temporary folder the textures are.
upload_2020-7-6_18-2-43.png

open the texturefolder from the pitbuilding and copy all dds.files from the building in the texturefolder from the anglesey track.

@Fanapryde for his thought and @MrB00 for "the choice" ! ^^

I share your thought about the Alfa Romeo C8 GT Sport... with the doubt too !

What I like in the "Bonkers"
- Physics
- Interior more detailed
- Skins (Less but more "on my taste")

What I dislike
- No wipers (but not really important for me)
- Position on the ground (the car seems too low on the track in replay, It licks the tarmac too much)

Ooooooh, writing some words makes me seriously thinking I have no real interest in the version reworked by Velo..!
I really appreciated get back in the Bonkers version yesterday (It has been a while !), the driving is more challenging here.

At least, It stills a question of taste... as often so It’s better to trying both ! ^^

Cheers !

Sorry to Spam again. Here's some minor bugfixes in the ui for the Amuse GTR along with an '''RTM Version'' with even more power as stated on their site the car has 900 hp yes i know i put it out at 900 bhp no need to remind me for me a 10 hp difference isn't that strong and i trimmed down the weight again to just 1000 KG as stated on their site.

Thank you very much for this. It brings a lot of life and atmosphere to the track. I'm hoping there'll be others like this.

I notice, though, that I'm losing about 10% of my fps with this running. I'm wondering if that's the same for others or if it's something I've got that isn't set up right.

Also, just to check: if I have a config file (like the one you've made in the .rar) and put that in an Extension folder in the track's folder (as you indicate), then that config file overrides any other config file (e.g. in assettocorsa/extension/config/tracks/loaded)? Or should I go and delete other config files (in e.g. assettocorsa/extension/config/tracks/loaded )?

Hi Billy Pilgrim,

if you put an ini into an extension file into the track folder directly as you did right here CM always checks that file at first. If there is another one in \loaded it will be ignored. The ones in \loaded are only used if you use the auto-update function in CM so that´s the right place where the ini´s should go. I have this function disabled though since I always edit something here and there and it is overwritten once you have this one enabled if you don´t put attention to it.

The ini and my config does not have an influence on the FPS so I think this must be something different.

I just got pretty much the same thing happen. Black screen when trying it the 2nd time, but managed to go back to CM without having to force close and reloaded the car again and it worked straight away. Weird for sure.

I have the same **** with Pessio´s Abarth. Brownish set up screen, with an infinite engine sound and a logo on the upper left which is showing me I ran out of fuel. Is there any clue already what could be the culprit? Don´t want to downgrade to 1.60 or something though.

Well the R8 does it due to extended physics and CSP 1.6.1 bugs out for some people so even though I have no clue what extended physics actually means I rolled back and it seems to have fixed it for me.
As for Pessio's Abarth is that the paymod one?

Yes it is. And it is the first car where this problem occured. I need to fire up AC sometimes 3-4x till the car finally is drivable.

Ok so you're not gonna like it but it's the same with this one apparently. Someone has the same problem and has commented on Pessio's FB page and the fix is rolling back to 1.6.0
