Here's the Alfa Romeo Giulia Super BoP'd to the TC Legends pack.

I was asked to do a BoP because it was too fast and I figured I'd share it with all of you as well.
Weight raised and power reduced
It secretively had ABS and TC on, those are off now
Tyres switched to 60's Vintage to match pack
Aero reduced
Gear length between 1st and 2nd gear fixed
Diff loosened for a more vintage feel
ProTyres app folder within car folder

The car is a lot more lively now and fits the pack well. Have to mind the brakes going into corners. The car drove really well to start with so not a lot to be done to get it to fit. Let me know if it's too slow or if the car is too lively, it can be a handful now. Those 70's slicks it had before gave it a LOT of grip.
**This will not overwrite the original car.



*Link updated at time of edited post. Diff tightened a bit to add more control and make it more competitive instead of fighting the car a little too much.

I have been visiting here and there for the past few months and have been super happy to find some mods i never knew even existed - All thanks to the community here and throughout other AC forums/Discord channels. I believe this was a rip of the RSS GT pack you listed which yes, is a paid mod so even rips that are considered "different" or "new" by some modder don't get very far on this forum let alone seeing that his links have been taken down by most likely a cease and desist letter. The rules here are to not share paid mods. So you will not find the links you desire here.

Edit to add:
Some of those cars are on Assettoland. I would go there to get some of them.

Damn. I thiught it was just „another” mod made by someone else Not a ripoff. Thank you for information.
 
Hey all, I'm gonna be starting a new project soon and I need someone's help. If anyone is able to find me the aero figures (drag coefficient, lift coefficient, kg of downforce, etc. etc.) for the Tatuus FT-50 in rFactor 2 (or in real life if possible) that would be greatly appreciated, it would help a ton.
 
2019 Nordschleife well-beiing package

- added 2019 brandings around the track (the Hyundai ads on start/finish look **** due to Kunos bad texture assets)
- darkened the grass and vegetation
- removed AC scrittles from the track
- added crowd sounds and some techno music around the whole track (hear it at Hatzenbach, Brünnchen, Schwalbenschwanz, Pflanzgarten & Ferris Wheel)
- added campfires and torches

Extract the .rar into your ks_nordschleife folder. Works also with ks_nurburgring.

Thanks to @B_Isak who brought this to my attention! It could not be done without your help and initiative! Many thanks to @Fuzo for his soundbank files I have used here.

To get the campfires and smoke to work you need to have "new smoke" in particles fx enabled! Works only with CSP!

I hope many of you will follow and edit the sterileness out of the tracks!

Thank you very much for this. It brings a lot of life and atmosphere to the track. I'm hoping there'll be others like this.

I notice, though, that I'm losing about 10% of my fps with this running. I'm wondering if that's the same for others or if it's something I've got that isn't set up right.

Also, just to check: if I have a config file (like the one you've made in the .rar) and put that in an Extension folder in the track's folder (as you indicate), then that config file overrides any other config file (e.g. in assettocorsa/extension/config/tracks/loaded)? Or should I go and delete other config files (in e.g. assettocorsa/extension/config/tracks/loaded )?

Hey everyone, i've got a bit of an odd issue.

I'm working on the graphics overhaul for Anglesey and have a FBX file of the pit buildings at the track.

When I open the .KN5 file in CM it looks like this.

But when I put the .KN5 file in the main track directory

content/tracks/anglesey_circuit

it looks like this.

The textures don't load.

This happens if the kn5 is placed in any track directory not just Anglesey, but if the kn5 is literally anywhere else, on a different drive, my desktop, anywhere else at all it loads in fine.

Needless to say, when I load the object on the actual track in game, nothing displays at all, so... it's very confusing.

I'd really appreciate it if anybody could take a look and see if there's anything i'm missing? I've never had this issue before.

I would appreciate it, when authors fill in the correct information in the ui_track.json file to avoid misunderstandings like this one.

Not even mad bro, I hope you didn't take it that way. It was slapped together a long time ago for a private facebook group and I have been (very slowly) making a new version. I knew very little about .json files etc back then. I also didn't put a name to it because I was unhappy with almost all of it except the road mesh, I believe that was my first attempt at a separate .kn5 for physics.

Yes, it can be done. I have proved it already with Bathurst. Unfortunately because of poor comments and the fact that two other quality mods already exist for this track I didn't bother finishing it. Suzuka is a track I like quite a lot and have never found a good version, so it might happen eventually. ;)
 
Can you show the materials list? (bottom left of editor between object and camera)

EDIT: Check "texture" folder name. No "s". Also, is it inside the folder that contains the .fbx?

Thanks for your response. The 'texture' folder is named correctly, then the materials panel looks like this

The list continues like that, and then the bottom looks like this.

And as pictured above the KN5 file displays fine in Content Manager show room, unless the file is in a track directory, so I also tried removing all other KN5 files, and the texture folder but still get the same results, super confused.

This a link to the fbx fbx.ini and textures if anybody fancies taking a look.



Interestingly the floodlight texture loads, as well as the reflectivity on the glass.

Also every other kn5 file in that folder loads fine.

Had a quick look at the file and I can't see anything wrong with it. Texture not loading in those previews happen a lot for me so I never worry about it. This may be a silly question, but you do know the location of your new pit building is a long way from the old one and under the ground? Loads fine for me if I drop it into you released track, it's just in the wrong place.

I've come across quite a few mod tracks where the whole environment (including buildings, armcos, signs etc etc) is mirrored under the ground for some unfathomable reason.

I promise I didn't make them! But yeah I have found some of those myself in the past, almost like it was loading in twice for some reason.

Can't be great for performance, can it? Or maybe it doesn't affect things (apart from the file size) if all that crap is hidden and never rendered. IDK.
