What is new:

  • New steering wheel: LCD screen, knobs and HD textures (Gran Turismo style)
  • Physics Updated (Basic setup is "more drivable")
  • New Skins based on original GT liveries (Template is included)
  • Fixed some mirrored textures issues
  • Now the car has also low poly LODs
Known Issues:
  • Missing Bridgestone logo on rear wing low fins
  • No AO for rims
  • More skins to add

The 3D model is based on the original GT6 model by Polyphony Digital. I tried to replicate as much as possible the original car physics (it's an hard job because the vehicle is fictional and there aren't any kind of real data about it) and I think it's pretty close to the original: very nervous, incredibly fast and a bit of oversteer with the basic setup.
The sound is based on the Ferrari F138 (I know that the FGT car has a V12 but the original sound in game it's closer to a V8).

Hope you like it! I will update the final version as soon as possible. It will be available also on Assetto Land.

last night trying to solve a problem with the color of the spray I touched something that produced these strange red lines, does anyone know what they are and how to deactivate them?

A update to the Bugatti Centodieci update V1

-Fixed up the door transparency issues they may still exist but most of it is patched up now
-Removed the flames from the car because they didn't fit properly.
-Moved the mirrors to be more accurate.
-Added 4 new non factory colors to the car these are:
Yellow,Dark Blue,Red and Black.

There's posts about the dust instead of spray somewhere but for now try messing with the smoke settings or something

Yes, but I could not find the publication you say, I also think I have problems between extensions of the Corsican asset, I would like to do a cleaning and leave only the original game without losing the tracks and the cars but I would not know what to delete and what not

Only thing I can suggest is reading through this https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/assetto-corsa-wet-mod-by-a-fracasso.157483/page-2 as it seems there's a few things to try. Sorry I can't be more specific in my help but the answer is in here i'm sure.

I'm also not quite sure I understand your other problem tbh
 
There are no mountains in Norfolk! It's a desolate, grim, flat place full of fields and tractors;) I've done 100s of laps of Hethel irl, it's not a very good track and (was then) in a pretty bad state. It's used more for driver training and development

@El Brillante, thanks for the info. This sounds like that time Fanapryde let me know there were no mountains surrounding Zolder. Made it an easy fix :)

I have seen that track (Dust 2 from counterstrike) on FB a few days ago - but I did not post it here because it was not worth it. But here you have a video, showing the track in action. At least this must be the smallest track-file ever: 2.0 MB.



Haha, this cross-game environment reminds me of when I made a conversion of Counter Strike's Aztec for Unreal Tournament 2003 years and years ago. I made it available on my boss's server and the amount of traffic crashed the server.

Thanks for this. I'd love to see a full package of Formula Trucks as well.

Looks like your ambient shadow setting, it's a super easy fix on the opening page of the CM showroom, just click update , leave the settings as default and update again. That should solve it.

@GIBBONS This blows my mind, man. I thought the ambient shadow thing in CM showroom was only for preview images. I had no idea it actually fixed the in game shadows. I've got to try this. My in game shadows aren't horrible, but if they can be better, then damn. Thanks for the tip!

I just tried all the tracks.
Didnt do any races yet with them. Just Practice.

Barcelona cityseems to be the most complete, pits, night lighting. Lighting is built into the kn5 - no config files. I have another Barcelona city which I got a while back and is very good. I dont remember who did the track or the lighting.

San francisco - seems to be a shorter different route in one section, doesnt go up the staircase hill. Has pits but not functional, No lighting on track.

Paris - is a cool scenic track. No designated pit area, just a temp pit box on the road. No lighting.

Miami Bay - Beware - In PRACTICE mode does not come up if Pits is selected, I get a black or purple screen. It does come up if Starting line is selected. Track is scenic but meshes are rough. There is a pit stall, but evidently there is something wrong with it. No lighting , no working pits

Dubai Marina - The graphics are there but the track is not well textured. no pit area or working pits, no lighting. Find the acu_dubai track, it is much better textured and has more configurations and working pits.

He has a Linas track which I tried few configurations. Very nice did the long track and the high banked Oval with chicanes. No lighting, working pits.

Overall pretty cool city tracks with work needed. If I remember, I think ACF had some videos he was working on a while back on a couple of these tracks. Never got released.

@dathyr, looks like RD already took these tracks down. Would you or someone else here be able to upload these somewhere, mega, google drive, etc?

My lord what a nice drive with the updated Pantera from Pessio. I'm always amazed how he manages to always find the perfect balance between undrivable and drivable, so to speak. Perfect.

I absolutely love all the Pessio cars. My favorite remains the Porknose though. Oink.

Any idea about differences between VHE brazilian tracks, posted on this forum, and ELR tracks from this page? https://www.erleague.com.br/cars-tracks

VHE's are better then the ELR's. Which says something, because I felt the ELR's were good already. So with VheEth making them even better, you know you've got a great track. I still haven't uninstalled all the ELR versions though, just haven't thought about it.
 
Has anyone came across any skins for the Peugeot 308 RCZ "cup" or "GT4" car that was started in here and then for some reason taken and finished by Assettoland? Kind of hard to have a one make race with one skin. :P
Plus I feel bad that this car didn't get as much love. I was always meaning to give it a GT4 tune to run with that pack of cars.

Thanks for your reply. I tested many of the cars I have and most work fine on the New Castle 500 track. I know you
probably designed it to be use and work well with the V8 Supercars. i have several other Australian tracks.

I was just pointing out to others here that some peoples favorite car mods will find these invisible meshes that will
stop the car right at that point. There are a few of them right at the first part of the track after turn 1. It just surpized
me when one of the car mods jumped straight up into the air. in the middle of the track hehe

i will find the V8 Supercars and let you know my findings. I am pretty sure they will work. It is few F1 cars and karts and
I found one kunos sports car that seem to find the meshes.

I had another track that I was helping someone do AI line work on and found the same problem in one section of track.

New Castle 500 is a great track and really enjoy it. I have 2 F1 cars that are a blast to drive on that track and work well.
And will use it as a special Indycar event for just myself offline.

i will send you a PM on my results of the Supercars.

The 'missing driver' error I was getting with that car has been solved thanks to @MagicM.
For some reason the car folder was missing the "driver_base_pos.knh". Copied one across from another car and all is good again.
I'd been stripping out 50k worth of pointless engine tris from under the bonnet so must have accidently deleted it when adding the new kn5 back.
Something to bookmark in case it happens again.

Glad you have it fixed, and not sure I'd have ever worked that out so yeah I'll bookmark that fix if it ever happens to me or anyone else

No, i'm not making any skins for that as I'm upset about how long I spent making a skin for it only for it to be nabbed by Assettoland for them to "finish" ;)

It's a bit crap anyways and I haven't really spent much time driving it lol
 
[EDIT] These mods rely on CSP, not SOL. For this mod, you DO NOT fix any of it's issues reported by Content Manager. If you do, the car won't stay on the track. If you fix anything with CM, it backs up the original data files, and makes a new edited version. Unless you get rid of that, by checking that the folder and new "fixed" data is completely removed, it will continue to affect the mod.
There are no errors when using "analyze" for p13, so idk how you come to your conclusions, this is not an issue in my book.
 
Hi any AI guru's could you do me a flavour.
Can you try out my ai hints files and fast.lane file on the new Mallory Park 'car' circuit.
The AI is woefully slow around gerards bend I feel i have addressed it but if anyone could take a look and see if they can better it i would be eternally grateful.
Obviously just back up the original fast.lane first encase mine is garbage.

I would like to do a clean AC installation without losing the cars and tracks.

Oh sorry...back up cars and tracks and mods and then your assetto corsa folder in Documents, and also here C:\Users\~~~~~\AppData\Local\AcTools Content Manager (might need to unhide folders for this one)
And then do reinstall and add your mods etc back

I'm sure there's a better way and as it's a Steam game you might be able to just reinstall it over the top without losing your mods but i'm not sure about that.
Be good if someone else can step in here and confirm if that's the case.

Yes, is what I had in mind, but only the track and cars folders? extension? drivers? font?

those are the things i guess i should back up but i dont know if i should back up some other folder
 
Ah, thanks for the info. I have all VHE tracks already and the only reason I looked at ELR was more pit boxes at Velo Citta

1. The ERL versions are conversions of Stock Car Extreme.
2. ERL conversions were performed quickly, as they were used for online races.
3. ERL conversions lack VAO, Extension, decent trees, have double, triple objects on top of each other and rough material mappings.

In any case: De gustibus non disputandum est ;)
