also good to know someone that has owned one of these beauties IRL... awesome news... you most probably had the manufacturer stock version - back in the day... or did you have something like in the pic? any track driving experience? since life is forever changing on us, I'll committing some of my left over energies and time to trying out outdoor karts racing, have done tonnes of go-kart as a kid and now with son, which has revived a long desire spark in me, like in all of us I suppose, at some point, maybe at a mid-life crisis point, outlandish ideas are possible, with care of course... still home-bound with the exception of essential med-visits? keep taking great care and keep sharing... look forward to reading up about your Alfa... Friends in high school had the GTV Alfa Sport or something, I'll look it up later, but it had the jet-cockpit dash-instruments, loved those heaps...

Mine was stock. Never forgot the sound of the 2 double Webber 40mm carburators. It has a 5 gear box, but the 5th gear, wasn't a saving fuel gear.
It was a speed gear.
The model was from 1971 (bought in 2nd hand, took drivings licence with 18 y.o. and my father offered the Alfa to me).
Alfa Romeo 1.3 GT Junior - the name in my country.

if you're a fan of Pessio's work... here's the latest

1.3 Update

As i progress to know physics misteries, is time to put some new tricks on oldies.

Suspensions are totally re-done.
The rear now is properly done, with the infamous "slittone" keepin' the roll center really low, and the rear end well planted and easy to menage on full gas.
The front is adjusted with the real tricks they did long time ago, upper joint raised, to have some camber gain on bump. ( This mod also rise a bit front roll center, and give a little bump steer to the car too, as a trade-off).

Now the car behaves like the real one in 70s, like the famous way of cornering on 3 wheels.

Fixes also in brakes, power and tires.

Better textures for tires, and some CSP eye-candy

Trying to install this mod, was alerted (this word exists?), that I had a same name car already installed.
Looked for it and discovered that this car has a previous Author, with the very same files/folders.
The left is the older.

Had a look at the skins and even the car description is the same.

Well, just a curiosity for you to know.

did someone BoP with the new gt3? the new ACC mods have very different physics I get up to 5 sec difference in Monza

Typically I just go into the car.ini file of the offending cars and just add weight to them until they're in line with the other AI cars in a given class. You can also achieve the same thing through ballast and restrictor using CM, which is probably a better idea. The only thing that sucks is that it's a really time-consuming process and doesn't work for 100% of tracks like in real life. I really wish someone would develop a tool for balancing classes some day but I have no idea how one would go about doing it.

WIP

good morning friends.
I saw this yesterday and went crazy so I started creating it but I ran into a problem ... there are still not or not enough photos to see the sponsors on the sides.
I come to ask that if someone saw good photos of the sides they send it to me.
Thank you

Joke aside try contact Sean Bull, he the one who made that the livery. If he kind enough, you'll get other side of car

Hello all!

I enjoyed driving the SLS AMG Black Series mod so far, but just wondering if anyone feels it being underpowered? especially when you put it against those other cars with similar power figures

If so will there be an update to fix this?

Thank you

- also have another alike mod, slightly different looking but also a 'bella macchina'...

That almost looks like when a car goes 'inside/overlaps' your car while in the pit lanes... no?

Yeah, I've deleted quite a bit of the SimDream stuff that I bought. I do like the LMP cars, but that says more about the original authors than the seller. Thanks for replying, bro.

@norms congrats on your first released track. I just had some laps and it is VERY good. AI was a little wonky, but I used the modern protos and they get squirly anyways. Well done, man. Do you have any other tracks in the pipeline that you're working on?

You have to hover your mouse cursor where I painted blue and stretch out the right side window until the list turns into the preview grid.

Hi! If you don't mind I was wondering if you have to add something to CM to make it look that way. I just can't figure it out.

Eastern Creek 1990 v1.3
Update Ai line by KevinK2
Thanks, Eastern Creek has improved a lot, but the High Voltage Pylons are a bit of a let down on this track. I have a version eastern_creek2014 from Richo and Rainmaker (3.5) that has much better looking ones. It has also four layouts (Amaroo, Brabham, Druitt and Gardner). Sadly it has ugly looking trees.
Any chance to 'fix' that version ?

Guys Is it my problem, or is the sound of cars missing?
I just installed a couple of them to try (Audi and Bentley) and all sounds are fine here.
Now I'm going to install them all to check and compare, because I seem to have misread the date of their folders. They are newer than I first thought (while driving I noticed safety net and RaceLogic display) and they feel fine...

Edit: Aahh..sorry for the double post...

Good morning to you all!
I recently registered on this great AC forum.
Alike others probably; first lurking and looking for some great car / track mods. Boy, so much!
Scrolling through approx. 1429 pages and heaps of (some really great) mods and alike.
My age is 52 (Yeah, old Geezer!) but hooked with AC 1.16.3.
Main interest is GT and F1 (especially 70's era with main focus on 1978)
No, my racing skills are not that great at all, but I like AC for every bit it shows.

Directly asking for mods is one way of getting information, but have scrolled though this forum first.

The GT3 pack is great for starters, however; I'm interested in obtaining good F1 mods based on 70's era.
Paid mods are not exchanged here on this forum, this I do understand. URD DTM I like but needs buying for obvious reasons.

I have RSS Formula 79 (2.0) and as such I have the Lotus 79 (Plus JPS/Martini skins from RD)
Are their other (Full) mods I'm not aware of covering the 1978 year? 1979 I'm aware of BTW.

Speaking of RSS Formula 79; Mario Andretti (My all time favorite driver) is a rather short Italian but...sitting way too high in his Lotus 79.
Reading here, lots of people are capable fiddling around with .ini file adjusted to their liking. Could driver seating in car be adjusted in any way?

Would be nice getting this actualized, but I'm not in to this. Can anyone suggest some solutions?

Hi! there is this 1978 skinpack to be applied to the rss formula 79, so you will have the 1978 liveries:
