I think I might have that setting on, anyway you can tell me where you found it, thanks!
Like the 4th - 5th page on SOL Config.

A wee integrity check later and the Kunos sounds are back ! As simple as that. URD and RSS mods are still shagged beyond salvation but I'll get there.
Did you have Fonseckers installed and it just reverted an older sound? I was able to fix the Lambo Super Trofeo by just renaming lines in the GUIDs to match the KN5. While this didn't work with the Porsche GT3 Cup however. But didn't spend much time with the trial and error department. Might need to rename the bank within GUIDs as well.
Proven.
A very bad mod and an irregular (wrong) physics.
Canceled immediately after trying it.
And that's fine but if you want to help us who like to fix and rework, at least give some insight as to why.

Hi guys, I have a question, I saw on this trend same video with the rain not just on the car's windows but on the streets too, how come can I active that?
I'm using the Sol mod and all patch but I have only the rain windows effect not more.

Thanks
Tony

it does look promising and remains WIP... videos shown are literally updates of what's line-up in future updates, taking back initial impact-feedback and the like... look forward to it myself

That Miami Bay City track - The track design experts here will have to answer that one - be allot of texture work and no pit areas, etc. Also the San Francisco track looks like a different shorter route also. I do some track things with tracks, but never got into full blown track design in these modern games. Whether someone will tackle the Paris City track, we will know in the future - man that would be beautiful with lights.

If you dont have you should get if you like city tracks: Also the config updates
I currently have the ACU versions of Miami Bay, Chicago, and Bracelona City tracks installed. They are awesome tracks and with night lighting. San Francisco track is only done by ChiQuiFreaky and he does a tremendous job with tracks has done. Right now he has taken down the link for that track on you tube. I have also the ACU Dubai but cant remember if it has night lighting.

take care,
Dave
thanks dave for the explanation. yes seems to be very dificult add new layouts to a tracks if not is included since the begining. i remember some old tracks on rfactor who can added other layouts externally ( but shure, was more easy due to is a old game). yes a have too these tracks and aere awsome, i just wanted a litle more diversity. finally, yes i agree Paris have a lot of potential if someone can managed track! layouts are very fun to drive and scenario is great!

ah ok , so is this just a future WIP update?

Yeah its ongoing WIP that i'm sure will continue to be updated like the lighting and day cycles. It's going to be on general release at some point but you can get an advance preview of future shaders patch updates through Ilja's Paetron. I've been trying it out past few days, still loads he's working on with it but yet still exciting to play with whats there at moment.

Remember when a game had 1 CD and later 3 and 4? When I bought the game 'XIII', with 4 CDs, I thought, 'wow, it must be a revolutionary game in content and image quality'.
Then the games went fron CD to DVD (more storage). And so on... Until now.
My damn AC, occupy 1.7 Tb in one of my disks. :nervous:

Damn, your age is as 'bigger' as mine.

Call of Duty says... Hold my beer haha

1.3 Update

As i progress to know physics misteries, is time to put some new tricks on oldies.

Suspensions are totally re-done.
The rear now is properly done, with the infamous "slittone" keepin' the roll center really low, and the rear end well planted and easy to menage on full gas.
The front is adjusted with the real tricks they did long time ago, upper joint raised, to have some camber gain on bump. ( This mod also rise a bit front roll center, and give a little bump steer to the car too, as a trade-off).

Now the car behaves like the real one in 70s, like the famous way of cornering on 3 wheels.

Fixes also in brakes, power and tires.

Better textures for tires, and some CSP eye-candy

Oh my!! This is a game changer for cars from that era. Masterpiece.

link fixed
What page was the original post on though? Is it like ten pages ago? You got guys in here posting 7 times in a row. Can you just put the link up because now your quote of the original post still doesn't have the new link.

Edit: Found it. Wasn't that far off, it was 7 pages back. lol

since you make something for a paid mod that someone else created ,you are intercepting to his work, thats why you should get his permission ,even an extension folder or flames ,but i guess logical is like we want and not how it supposed to be ,a **** high and watch sittuation !!

found another previous post...

and yet another hypothetical example... what if all mods were paid for (ha!), and we all had purchased these mods... so, we are all here on this thread talking about the potential of improving some of the aspects in which the author no longer has any interest in updating... for whatever reason, irrelevant... are you suggesting that anyone could not do a config-file to alter anything? And if so, only for personal use? And also unable to share it with alike purchasers of the mod?

I get it, in today's everyday business, communication has got to be effective in order for plans to be executed as intended in order to meet, lets say a product launch, and on budget...

Nevertheless, I feel that what is being suggested is not being practiced, and I just don't see this. Wherever possible authentic authors are approached and invited to take part if so interested... As mentioned earlier, in most instances it's all ok... care and respect are taken to their respective limits...

If I decided to run a side-business in creating mobile-phone covers, do you think I should ask the mobile-makers for their permission? Think not, I would literally invest in a popular model, use it to acquire proper dimensions and fitting, then sell it or give them away... I just don't see the issue like you do, and it's OK to disagree... different perspectives... different outcomes... different minds...

i see that in this group i got a lot of fans but i must say you look like you are my beloved one...

at the end i see open minds in here, but only in things that is convenient to each of them..

and i think you were the one you said that you will ignore me ,i guess you miss me ..

It really helps to keep an open mind to a variety of situations, such as this... Arguing can be healthy to a degree, so long as maintaining a degree of decorum, subjective, non-personal, objective - the usual ingredients for a healthy discussion /debate...

This subject becomes moot when discussion parties do not arrive at a consensus approach and move-on in different directions... Nothing wrong with this outcome either...

For now, I'll get back to some racing and modding activities... take care cheers

I practically do not use APPS - I prefer a clean screen and real car devices. Tried installing Classic Pitboard. But I’m doing something wrong, or vice versa, I’m not doing something that needs to be done in the CM - the app does not appear in the game.
Help please! :)

Oh my lord. Somebody using my stuff? I really glad you did find it! basically first you have to install original pit-board app. It's written in the instructions. After all it is just a skin so I have no right to upload it with the app itself. Thanks for trying my little creation. Hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do all these years (since 2017)

This is due to my poor knowledge of English and some carelessness .. I just did not pay attention to the fact that this is a skin, not a full-fledged application :) But now everything works fine! :)

also good to know someone that has owned one of these beauties IRL... awesome news... you most probably had the manufacturer stock version - back in the day... or did you have something like in the pic? any track driving experience? since life is forever changing on us, I'll committing some of my left over energies and time to trying out outdoor karts racing, have done tonnes of go-kart as a kid and now with son, which has revived a long desire spark in me, like in all of us I suppose, at some point, maybe at a mid-life crisis point, outlandish ideas are possible, with care of course... still home-bound with the exception of essential med-visits? keep taking great care and keep sharing... look forward to reading up about your Alfa... Friends in high school had the GTV Alfa Sport or something, I'll look it up later, but it had the jet-cockpit dash-instruments, loved those heaps...
