I have recently updated my spreadsheet to become slightly less disorganized by adding numerous pages.

Hopefully, you will have an easier time when browsing it for mods.

This is the current list of pages so far:

- Cars (A-F)
- Cars (G-L)
- Cars (M-R)
- Cars (S-Z)
- Cars (Esprit3905)
- Cars (ORS/Our Racing Simulator by Dan Bucsa)
- Tracks

Don't forget to bookmark my spreadsheet.

Thanks, Eastern Creek has improved a lot, but the High Voltage Pylons are a bit of a let down on this track. I have a version eastern_creek2014 from Richo and Rainmaker (3.5) that has much better looking ones. It has also four layouts (Amaroo, Brabham, Druitt and Gardner). Sadly it has ugly looking trees.
Any chance to 'fix' that version ?

Regarding the two Eastern Creek releases, keep in mind the 1990 version is slightly different than the 2014 Gardner version. The 90's track also feels a little wider in places, and to me, flows a little better. Of course who knows what's accurate? It's good to have both versions IMO, despite any graphical flaws. 2014 is certainly improved now, and has all those extra layouts. 👍

Quite a bit of that was inaccurate I’m afraid, so if you don’t mind I’d like to give you a bit of a refresher on GT500 in AC and in real life.

The primary GT500 mod in Assetto Corsa is the URD JT5 Shiro, which is based on the 2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo GT500. The 2015-spec GT-R is based on FIA Class One specifications for touring cars like the DTM models are. In all aspects the 2015 and 2013 Nissan GT-R GT500 cars are completely different machines.

Chivas has made two packs for pre-2014 Class One regulation GT500 cars including all three manufacturers. The first pack was the 2008 cars which was an unfinished mod URD donated to them. 2013 is the current pack they’re working on and those cars are an evolution of the 2008 regulations (except the Honda which is a completely different car to the old NSX).

So yeah. Between 2013 and 2015, the Nissan GT-R is a completely different car that only shares a common name. The old car has a V8 engine while the new one has a 4 cylinder. Not to mention they have completely different aerodynamics and chassis. If the 2013 cars are based on the 2015 cars physics-wise in Assetto Corsa, that’s completely inaccurate.

Meanwhie, the 2020 GT-R seen in that video is an evolution of the 2015 car, like the 2008 cars are to the 2013 cars. It’s all a little confusing but just remember that 2014 was the year that the GT500 regulations were completely changed into FIA Class One touring cars, which are very different than the cars GT500 was using before then.

Plus 2020 GT500 Cars are all made to comply with Class One+Alpha regulations of FIA, and Forcing Honda to switch it's MR layout of NSX-GT to FR. It also introduced the Toyota Supra GR GT500 so it's all back to 1997 JGTC GT500 but with modern specs.

The Details given in GT500 2020 Specifications as I know will use Single ECU provider by Bosch for all 3 of them since it has been as recent Sponsor for Super GT, but not joining DTM's mandatory needs to use HYLO (High Yaw Lift Off) device.

Thank you CrisT86! Eastern Creek needed this update! Happy to have this track in my AC now.
Just needs a lights config and we'll be able to replicate today's night race!

Night racing will also help hide the overexposure that still exists (IMO).

Yes, the turn 6/turn 7 has changed in the Gardner layout.
As for the width, according to what I read it should be 15m (main straight) and 12m for the rest of the track.
But it's mainly the graphics that bother me (in both versions): the trees in the 2014 version and the high power pylons in the other version.

Actually I believe Honda were offered the opportunity to grandfather their MR-engined car but opted to convert it to FR anyway

I know discords for quite large communities related to a modder / a group of modders / specific mods but a general discord could be great yeah

So I'm not sure where @__EASY__ found this track in China, but it's a fun track (with a strange name). I couldn't get the cars out of the pits on one of the layouts, so I had a look. The fast lanes looked fine, so I readjusted the side lines and redid the pit lane lines (The pit lane lines were also exiting in a bad place).

It would be really nice if any lighting gurus could fix the 24/7 lights and actually get them to actually light the track surface, as the buildings and scenery around the track are pretty cool IMO. Track is obviously under quarantine as there isn't a soul around. :(

Yes, This is a pretty neat little track - PC-V1. Has 2 track selections to race on. If you are wondering what the Chinese letters say in the UI file for the track name: The track name is "Tianjin Wuqing V1 Motor Park South Circuit 3.7 km". There are some night lights but they dont light
up the track at all. Thanks for the AI update KevinK2

I have a question of Moding, does anyone know how to place the mileage marker on the steering wheel display or any other object that is glass or display?

What's with ASR's FW14? i got the car installed but it cant load in a practice session because "car sound might be broken"

Usually, this happens when other car of the grid has a broken sound.
Try to chose as opponents only your car and see if it loads.

If you are trying only with your car, try to change the sound with the CM feature.

CanAm 1966 complete season. Stumbled across this today. Links for everything needed in the description of the video. This is very thoughtfully put together pack. I personally like it a lot:

This is a great find to share.

I was trully excited. However, I have all tracks and cars. :)

Nevertheless, I installed the championship files, seems to be accurate.👍
The only downside is the number of laps, will try to change it .

Cheers

I know it is not the photo thread here but I think it reaches out to more people so have a short look how fantastic the new rainfx already looks ingame

Not only the rain drops, it is the rain which is moving towards the windscreen when you change the direction of the car or the wind so the drops react to movement. Car is the 250 GT Lusso posted some pages earlier, track is Eastern Creek 1990.

Any chance to get these displays working on ks red bull ring as well?
Yes its possible, you need to place the 3 displays in a new position to match with the kuno track because is not the same as the acu version, if you use 3dsimed, you need too to custom with the kseditor the materials of each objects to have display animation ;)

I lurk a lot (like multiple times everyday, every week, every month) around here and am on top of thread but man, this spreadsheet is such a good and kind thing to do. No way am I ever moving on from Assetto anytime soon and what you've done is to help keep Assetto alive - so thanks for this.

And btw before I forget - I've said it before and I'll say it again, the modding being done by the guys on this thread is awesome. Gawd, I'm lurking so much I feel like I know all of you and am part of this thing going on here. It's the highlight of my day this thread - this thread or time with the wife, yes, this thread wins!
