A lot of people are going to find it amusing whenever a modder or a modding group starts talking in a grandoise way as if they've developed a cure for Covid instead of producing some pretend cars for a videogame. It only adds to the amusement when they threaten to withdraw those cars from any public release because of lapses in their own security, as if the very suggestion of this threat will be enough to send the sim world into a blind panic. It's been said before but many modders seem to place ridiculous importance on their own work... for everyone else it's just more content to try in an overcrowded market. Having hissy fits just makes you look daft, especially when that fury is directed at completely the wrong people.
Know what would have put BE Modding on people's radar with a positive spin? If you'd just said 'hope you like those leaked WiPs but they are very incomplete. The final releases will be even better. In the meantime please provide feedback on what you've seen'.
After all, you can't reverse a leak any more than you can put toothpaste back in the tube, so much better to suck it up and try to make it work in your favour. As things currently stand BE Modding have come across as immature, reactionary and more than a little bit up themselves, but it's not too late to turn that around.
And lest you forget: the leak didn't come from this forum.

you couldn't comment on that better

N ice skin...I am thinking about purchasing this car. But without any decent E-Prix-Tracks...are you guys of any proper E-Prix track like Monaco, Berlin or New York?

RaceDepartment has a bunch of ePrix tracks available. I believe there is... Ad Diriyah, Rome, Bern, Sanya, Santiago, New York, Mexico and Berlin. Formula E also runs on the Monaco GP circuit now, instead of the shortened layout they used to use.

Someone has converted some tracks(Mexiko,Berlin etc.) from rf1 to AC and has posted them on RD. Hsi name on RD is @shin956 if i recall correctly, just search on RD and in a matter of a few seconds you get results

Yes Race Dept has several E-Prix tracks you mention, but the person who did them didnt take time to make good side lines preventing the AI cars from continually hit the track walls. Get ready for some sharp corners on these tracks. I have all the tracks and havent seen any updates on them since original post. The same E-Prix tracks in Rfactor 2 are more raceable with the AI than these are in AC right now.

for you non FB folks, Guerilla announced they are fixing the dirty glass problem.

Just want to say: thanks for your support and report of bugs and issues with the new GT4 version 0.5

so here is a short list of reported bugs and issues we are working on:
  • BMW M4 GT4 - automatic shifting issues between second to third and third to fourth gear
  • Tyre change & refueling times adjusting on all cars for pitstops
  • Windshield dirt reducing
  • no outside engine sound from KTM X-Bow GT4
  • Dash displays reflect the light too much, they can not be read
  • Dirt textures rework of all cars
  • BMW M4 no engine sound if the BMW drives toward

If you find a bug or issue that is not listed yet, you are welcome to report it to us.

Hello guys!

Would anyone still happen to have the link to this mod track? The link in the description is down. Thanks in advance if it's somewhere right under my nose!

[Edit]: As I supsected, I was thinking the author just updated the map:

its in the video description, but, beware, his warning that "it will not run on a potato, or even two potatos in SLI" is a fair warning.. i dropped to under 60fps for the first time ever in a track on AC on my new machine.. had to drop to single screen to get it to run smoothly.

what do i need to change to get cars to grip on sand? the Dirt track posted above, I tried with the Ford Escort1600 and it just slides everywhere?
(Also, Crewchief.. sarcastic bastard, when i flipped it on its roof ;) )

EDIT: Question for the car fundi's.. those Smith Guages, they are on several older cars including the old formula's i love the race.. the needle, kinda jumps between RPM's instead of smoothly, see clip, is that normal, were they jsut really bad guages or something is wrong in my AC?

easiest fix for the gauges ive found is disabling both of these in CSP

Were these any good? Did anyone bag them before they were removed?

Did you never watched some onboard dashboard footage in vintage cars? RPM Neddles seems to be crazy. It is one of the coolest CM thing.
Since I discovered it, it is always on.

Indeed, but if the aim is high immersion as possible, this feature must be on.

Stop with your sensibility and civility. This is the internet, dammit! :sly:
