So if I have to organize a race between drivers I have to have balanced cars between them not that one goes stronger than the others, if it would not become a mono-brand race as everyone would choose the fastest, snubbed the others, don’t you think? if I make a pack of cars I must have all the same bop to stay in a range of time not to create disparity in an online race
Please, watch some real life races, on Youtube will be fine, Theres no rl races where cars reach the end like a train. Even trophy races.
Even in BTCC.
I never boped my cars. IRL, - Blancpain, GT3, GT4, ELMS, WEC, IMSA, PWC, BTCC, Open GT, British GT, WTCR, TCR, I could go on. -
Where some cars are Boped, if there are no 'Yellow Flags', cars will finish usually with a few seconds apart. Sometimes in a field of, lets say 15 cars of same class, only 3 or 4 are fighting very close for position.
I watch all, I mean
all, this races and a few more. Like Asian GT and TCR, Russian TRC... French GT4 and GT3.
Believe me, even Boped, they don't finish like a train.
Cheers
It's not realistic if it is applied to modern (electronic) tachs, which give near-instantaneous, accurate readings w/o over- or under- shooting.
Indeed, but this feature of the jumping REVS are only seen in vintage or very old cars.
I have it on and on modern cars it doesn't work. Modern cars REVS are smooth as they should.
