If this is the Kart for AC I am thinking of and recently tried, It is a fast super kart, but I found it a little hard handling and my FFB wheel would shutter some when slowing down or braking in the corners. I didnt change any settings-just used defaults. This was just some observations when driving the super Kart I have.

If the download gtsupreme Kart is different than my observations above, then I will come back and edit my text.

I just brought up you tube this morning and found a new clip on the Phoenix 1991 Street track for AC.
He said in one of his reply comments that he hopes to have this track available/coming towards the
end of this year-2020.

Looking forward to his release - here is the link to the youtube video - read the comments also.

New challenge: delete 25 cars a day until all the crap is removed from your collection.
New pledge: don't add a new car without removing an old one at the same time.

I was trying to do that....Problem is that I am currently making some cars into dirt oval cars, so actually what i am doing is just doubling cars.....

I am deleting any F1 packs, I don't use them and invariably i only need one of them as they are all the same under the skins.

Its not easy getting rid of stuff though.

It was easy when i only used racing cars, but now i have discovered i enjoy road cars like espirits ones and even the kunos ones i never used to touch my collection is just going up and up.

Needs reigning in...

Not a weird question at all. I think adding an 'atmos' track (as it's known in audio post-production) would be a very nice thing. I'm not even talking about crowd noises , which may well annoy me. I just mean some basic ambient noises so that we don't feel (or hear) like we're driving in a vacuum.

I have a bunch of tracks with the file nature.wav in the sfx-directory. Nice to listen to. Seems most of the tracks are for drifting:

Just remove the txt from the file.

Like a semi-vertical, half-distance LA Canyons. Great driving! It's amazing how much of the time they spend on WOT.
Yeah it's a lot faster than you'd imagine before driving it. Took a while to learn it, but its one of my favourite bits of road now. The F2004 in that clip is one I modified to have a tighter steering angle similar to a real life monaco setup (I think its 290 degrees off the top of my head), because otherwise it can't get round the tighter hairpins halfway up. Everything else is stock though

I am not deleting car, but I do not have them all installed at the same time in my game folder,
I created a mod car folder on a different drive, with 2 sub folder, "modder" and "Brand". depending if the car folder is named as a brand or a modder (ie: rk_bmw). Depending of my interest in a new car mod, I often put the new mod directly in the mod car folder. It will be available at a later time when I am interested in trying it.
That way I keep only my favourites in game, easier to manage when playing. I also recently did a back up of every thing on a third drive.

Ford Gt Le Mansory

I bet that soon someone will post something like: 'link?' or 'where can I get this car?' or 'i need this, link please?'...:odd:

Guys, was Clio released after all or not?

So if I have to organize a race between drivers I have to have balanced cars between them not that one goes stronger than the others, if it would not become a mono-brand race as everyone would choose the fastest, snubbed the others, don’t you think? if I make a pack of cars I must have all the same bop to stay in a range of time not to create disparity in an online race

Please, watch some real life races, on Youtube will be fine, Theres no rl races where cars reach the end like a train. Even trophy races.
Even in BTCC.
I never boped my cars. IRL, - Blancpain, GT3, GT4, ELMS, WEC, IMSA, PWC, BTCC, Open GT, British GT, WTCR, TCR, I could go on. -
Where some cars are Boped, if there are no 'Yellow Flags', cars will finish usually with a few seconds apart. Sometimes in a field of, lets say 15 cars of same class, only 3 or 4 are fighting very close for position.

I watch all, I mean all, this races and a few more. Like Asian GT and TCR, Russian TRC... French GT4 and GT3.
Believe me, even Boped, they don't finish like a train. ;)

Cheers

It's not realistic if it is applied to modern (electronic) tachs, which give near-instantaneous, accurate readings w/o over- or under- shooting.

Indeed, but this feature of the jumping REVS are only seen in vintage or very old cars.
I have it on and on modern cars it doesn't work. Modern cars REVS are smooth as they should.:)

deleting, sorting, fixing, archiving... so I can simply drive what I want, when I want... without disappointments

that means... sorting, figuring out which of the same models are from who... what was changed latest? what changed best? Is it worth keeping? Are there other stand-alone or half ass mods that are the same class? same genre? Why have 5 versions of a crappy car? Why search for a few cars among hundreds and cant find it? Why keep that mod for 1 car? etc etc etc etc.

Why do you think I did the GTX project? (there are more to come) - several mods by different people, that should be in a mod-pack
The hillclimb cars? - old tires, other errata that let the whole thing down... now fixed
Upcoming.. a 1998-2004 LMP900 mod. Why? Same as the GTX project.

Some of these get released, so other can enjoy the cars without the hassle or bother, to have a cohesive set genre to know... wtf is in that zip ;)

So this is my time of sorting, time to fix, time to share.

edit: TBH, im will to "donate" a fairly large contribution for someone willing to do a (big) conversion from rFactor1/2 to Assetto (I can do historic BoP, physics and match chassis # to historic skins) and then publicly release the mod.

I'm already after the cleaning last month, I went down in the game from 1942 cars to 822 cars, leaving only those that I want to repair, and which are already good enough to do nothing with them.

Of course, I'm still collecting fashion and waiting for the second 2TB drive, the first one was filled yesterday.

Funny you mention this, I got started a couple of weeks ago, cars and tracks. But its only a handful because a lack of time. In the past number of months theres been an onslaught of just extremely poor and careless cobbled together cars to look nice from ten feet away but are just flat out horrible in every category. Standards left when the Rona started it still seems.

Speaking of standards (high ones), RSS and VRC sure have been quite lately.

Problem with the synchronization of rain and wipes, would anyone have the solution? Thank you

Its a shader issue and I don't think other than an updated one, theres some quick fix.
On my end and on 1.62 - every car the wipes are moving water in strange patterns. Also the wipers changing all three speeds willy nilly. Some wipers even have motion blur (in non garbage cars). Never seen anything like it since Ilja brought rain to AC.
