I really hope this track is well optimised but I've got a feeling it'll perform even worse than Maple Valley.

I did. I manage to get acceptable fps but the track surface is very bumpy and I have a difficult time controlling all but the slowest vehicles.

What happens if you don’t install this in the Sizuka mod?

I'm not sure. Either the track won't load or the billboards won't animate, I guess.

EDIT:

I just disabled STFLOW in CM and the track still worked fine with static billboards. Whether you need it installed to load the track I don't know.
Try it mate, it's REALLY cool on this new Suzuka. There's no conflicts with Ilja's shaders as far as I could tell and no hit on framerates.

It's just one of those tiny little details that adds a lot to immersion.

EDIT 2:

This 2018 Kia Stinger Turbo is really nice, IMO.
