I corrected my earlier post, it's v1.02 from 2014 (originally from LFS).
Same for the reloaded. Is a conversion from LFS with 4K textures, now updated to the lastest features of CSP, at least for what i'm able to do, which is far from the quality of RT stuff or from the scratch made ones ;)
 
yup, intermittently. oddly if i play in single screen it does nto happen, but does in triple. I am sure there is an answer to the solution in there somewhere, something i have enabled or disabled difference between the two, but, cant be bothered chasing it down, by the time i find it, ilja will fix it ;)
desactivation of the temporal anti aliasing TAA IN EXTRA FX solved the problem for most of the case

I tried both versions respecting the release timeline and It produced the same effect.
I still using the CSP 0.1.60 version because (and I repeated it a lot here ^^), in another timeline of my life, I was an "early adopter" about all sort of things (hardware, software, mods) and I spent most of the time to resolve issues than enjoying my hobbies.
This time is almost now finished, even if sometimes, I get back in some "adventures" which I regret.

So, It doesn't mind for me (really) and I'm please if most of the people who downloaded your cool and nice addition enjoys it a lot. ;)

Im like you, I dont adopt early. *still waiting for VR to get good and cheap, I overclock my always 5 year out of date systems
(Im running AC in 4K on a i7 4770, 8gb and a very highly bios overclocked GTX980ti)

I can say that CSP 1.6.2 is very stable (turn off TireFX, its add nothing of value IMHO)
You can edit the TiresFX section of the ext_config.ini, just delete that section.

Now that rare and very desirable cars start to pop up from all you modders in here (961,350 superleggera,etc),there is one car that i can't seem to find anywhere.
Most 911s are already made.911 2.7RS,2.8RSR,3.0 RSR,964 RS and RSR.But the most rare of the rs/rsr the 993 RS/RSR is missing.

p.s.And the 2.1 Turbo RSR.
And I think in the list would be the Carrera RS 3.0, if I remember , the street version of the used in IROC races,

Ok so I tried the ACTK Bathurst and only did 1 full lap but that was in the 2m15s as well, so its possible I just utterly suck at Bathurst :boggled:

I finally discovered the culprit about the 961 model being transparent in 3DS, it's because those ***holes at Gamemodels.ru have left transparency on the model before uploading it to their site, therefore I had to disable it myself, thanks...

Anyways, I managed to add the proper HQ interior from CPIT LOD and was pretty easy to do so apparently, now just have to wait either for @TonyBarracuda or someone else of you to add proper shaders and values to the interiors since don't know which ones to associate to each materials honestly. If you're interested, PM me and I'll send you all the necessary files.

Not being a purist modder, just a game-hobbyist, the quality work that you have so far done is explicit and will certainly add so much immersion value when the entire package is all in the one mod...

And thanks also for the heads-up in reference to the transparency issue - would you know if this type of issue could potentially cause a visual difference in liveries?

Example: using same CM filter settings the preview-visuals are distinctively different... or would it be more related to the shader-reworks (update) performed by JakubP?

Q: when i race Bathurst in AMS2, i get a succint feeling of travelling up and down, in AC and ACC and RF2 I do not get that "feel".. anyone know why? Going down the esses I nearly get a "belly flop" feeling in AMS2..

I thought initially it might be the FOV/POV difference, but using the same cars and same general fov/pov the feeling is not matched? Is this an engine thing? The ACC/AC/RF feels flatter?

FWIW i upgrade to 3 x 32' screens today, and the new bathurst in AC is by far a better "feel", even than the ACC one, strange since its the same one.. maybe the AMS2 one has been scaled UP in Y?



Don't have AMS so cannot relate... However, have read up in past that some games do factor-in a wider scope of additional variable-information, such as altitude, inclination, all-round traction loss (for those airborne moments), even to some extent motion-sickness and the like - and if the game-engine is geared-up for this type of capability then, you know the rest...

What's the general opinion on triples vs VR as an initial investment choice? (with room-space not being an issue)

That is incredible, I can finally drive a FTO without the stupid custom front bumper.

I loved the vr when i only had small triples (3 x 24inch) but since going 3 x 32 inch, triples by far better, you do not have to trade of graphical quality because VR is still waiting for a more powerful graphics card, maybe by the time NV release 3080 or 4080ti's VR will rock. currently the resolution is too low and the trade offs in graphical quality are too high. (I have a vive original so there may be higher res options right now, but even at the relatively low resolution of the vive, most games need settings turned down a lot, and thats on a 2080ti OC'd to within an inch of its life.)

Where does this file go? I don't see any format similar to this one in the 961 folder.

OK, like rename file to "data.rar" - this would be its proper file-format.
when unzipped - this is the data folder with updated content-files... install (backup may be necessary - if all fails)
 
What's going on with the tires on the 961? Anyone else seeing this? Is this within the model or my graphics settings?
