I get this error when trying to install the track in CM drag 'n' drop:
View attachment 961540
Any ideas? Same message if I unzip it first.
I then installed it the old-fashioned clockwork way like a peasant from Les Mis, got an immediate error that the 'circuit' tag was missing, fixed that, then started a race on a plain desert landscape before a hard crash needing Task Manager to fix.
Halp!
Your link was for the FULL track and not just partial files..?

Thanks Mike, forgot to say, on your previous Lancer you need to set INVERT SHIFTING HANDS to '0' in data/driver3d.ini otherwise he paddleshifts with the wrong hands for up/down.Another rather rare Japanese sport car, Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X FQ-360 (for 360hp)

Hmm I tried to use the "version" thing on google drive, sounds like it went sideways, will delete completely from drive and reupload tonight, really need to just buy more space on gdrive, I have tonnes of programming projects shared on mine that I cannot delete and the fight for space is real.I get this error when trying to install the track in CM drag 'n' drop:

Random, kstree, ksperpixelWhich shader?
There's really no need any more to install peasant-style, CM's been able to file everything correctly for quite a while now, including external configs, driver models, fonts etc. It didn't used to be the case but has been for maybe a year or so.I always install 'peasant style'. No error messages, but also starting on a plain desert landscape with some pit buildings at some distance in front...
Thanks for this. At first I thought it was identical to NeelJ and Rainmaker's version from about three years ago but there are quite a few differences.
The editor usually doesn't work with persistence if you select alpha test on certain shaders. A way around that for some situations is to use psPerPixelAT instead.Random, kstree, ksperpixel
Peasant style lol it gives more control and you know exactly what you are putting where doing it manually. Also takes seconds, maybe a few seconds more than dragging to CM but well worth those extra seconds in a lot of cases. Dragging to CM is ideal if the file has been set up correctly, for people who want as little hassle as possible. It's not for everyone though, I guess I'll stick with being a peasantThere's really no need any more to install peasant-style, CM's been able to file everything correctly for quite a while now, including external configs, driver models, fonts etc. It didn't used to be the case but has been for maybe a year or so.
Saves an awful lot of faffing about, just drag the zip like Jame Bond with a Russian temptress.

If you ever want to get rid of those static RTB balloons then I can do a quick dynamic balloon config for you instead.
I'm genuinely interested as I've never had problems before - why do you need more control when installing a car or track? I can see the benefit if you want to preserve skins, but you can still isolate them beforehand with drag 'n' drop. And when overwriting, selecting 'clean installation' stops any rogue files from being left.Peasant style lol it gives more control and you know exactly what you are putting where doing it manually. I never install a mod without having a good look through what’s included. By the time I’ve done that it’s easier to drag over what I want, literally seconds and I know what the modder included. Sometimes there’s extra skin folders, templates and even manuals etc etc and very occasionally a lot of crap too. Just personal preference.I'm genuinely interested as I've never had problems before - why do you need more control when installing a car or track? The FFB is totally borked for me, the steering wheel loads up really strangely under cornering then snaps violently on exit. Feels horrible. Not like any other car I've got.
Edit: I just restored the previous version from my recycle bin and it feels great. Something is up with that new one.
This way you can determine if you want to install a folder with 3 kn5.backups in it or not. Same for sfx folders with 5 banks in there.I'm genuinely interested as I've never had problems before - why do you need more control when installing a car or track? You don't need to sign in (and he will ban people for anything anyway, I raced with him a few times), click hereFinally, a version of Machwerk in AC. BUT I wish you would just add a link here instead. I successfully signed in to your crappy website once and then next time I visited, I discover that I am banned for no reason. Is it so hard to upload your tracks somewhere else for those of us with problems?

Nope, I have an IP ban so nothing works - including the link you posted. (thank you for trying to help btw) I will resort to asking someone for that track in private lolYou don't need to sign in (and he will ban people for anything anyway, I raced with him a few times), click here

you do not have to register, you have a public section to download the MOD, this is noted in the registration that the site is reserved to the French member and that foreign IP addresses will be banned if registration attempt.
and not the links will remain on my forum only

I am not running round in circles and sending him emails just so I can rejoin a forum that bans for no reasons
if you have been banned is that you have tried to register what is forbidden to non-French members, this is clearly announced in the registration rules of my forum in English, you just have to send me your IP in PM
link of the deleted track will be reposted later because of your behavior

Something on that i worked now for like a week, maybe gonna release it when i finish this thing
He's always like that, as I said I raced with himWay to throw your toys out the pram dude.
Way to throw your toys out the pram dude. I mean seriously? you delete your track link because i moaned about your crappy forum rules and said I would get your track from other sources. and the fact you ban foreigners - xenophobe per chance?
Get over yourself bro, your stuff ain't that great anyway!!
The registration to the forum is only for the races that are organized on the discord of my TEAM, if I had to accept all the recordings it would be unmanageable, so I created a public section so that everyone can enjoy my circuits, but you prefer to criticize without trying to understand and without reading the rules of registration. just give me your IP in PM to be deban rather than continue this useless conversation, I like to share what I do for others but your speech gives the opposite desire.
the foreigners one has access to my forum by the public section, I have of the tens of recording per days that I must erase all the time whereas it is to explain well of the rules that the recording is reserved in to the FrenchmanDude, I really can't be bothered to jump through hoops to download one or 2 tracks from you - it's cool. I can accept that you just don't want people to join your forum and I go back to my original comment of sharing your tracks here with a link for those of us that are foreign. I honestly have no idea why it's so difficult for you to want people to join your forum and then you ban them for not being French.
It's cool, I'm over it now
