Santiago ePrix - AI needs more help than I can provide

Zurich ePrix - AI keeps breaking
- I created sides, created AI, {shift} on load, new AI with my sides
- delete fast_lane.ai (bad corners), make new fast_lane.ai, {shift/load}
- Assetto decides my track needs a line in the road... WTF?

Is this track really worth all the bother?

It's really more of a nostalgia thing for most people that remember it, but by today's standards, as is, it's pretty bland (though the trees are nice). With some materials/mapping/shader work, and some road feel, it could be a fun high-speed ring track... and the unrealistic bumps would definitely need to be remedied. ...but, according to the "modder," that's how it's supposed to be. :banghead:

I've add 2 Seas Motorsport Silverstone 500 number 11 livery. I've also add Ext_config to the Lamborghini 78 skin to add matte affect to the paint and corrected the UI skin files for 2 Seas skins. You will need to Re download my British GT3 skins to see these changes.

Lights, grass, water, fireworks, etc; config for acu_yas marina (v1.05, the one with 4 layouts)
Delete the previous version (If you had it; I didn´t post this here before)
(you also need the stFlow and ksPerPixelMultiMapEmissive shaders)

v0.8 main updates:
-Lighting overhaul; more evenly illuminated throughout the whole track (last sector isn´t overly bright anymore).
-Modified 3D models; fixes flickering and adds some eye candy.
-Lights for specific layouts, labeled A-B-C. You can turn them on/off using BLM Lights app.
-4 visibility levels on BLM lights, 1 for the main stuff, 4 being the most unnecessary lights..

Note: the hotel section still kinda sucks (30 FPS drop for me); this is thanks to the transparency of the roof, not the RGB.

-reverb
-rainFX (waiting till it goes public, contributions are also welcome)

Yas Marina Updates: This looks really good now--a much needed improvement. Now it's a much better experience for dusk/night laps.

Could the hotel's "gridshell" lighting transitions be sped up? Now if you could animate it with images, like they do on the real thing, that would be impressive--but probably not possible. Of course, not a big deal, especially if we really need to be concentrating on the track itself.

Circuit of the Americas? Can you apply your "magic" to COTA to improve it? The last lighting update was okay, but it needs some work, and the tower really needs improvement, as the real thing lights up like a beacon that you can see from miles away. You almost think it's part of the nearby airport.

Hiya, long time lurker, turned into modder over the last few days. My first question is about cars going off track with smoking brakes. It's only a few cars and i make note of each one, so i don't add them next race. The ligiers just pit and never come back out.


Next issue is with my grid extension on Bathurst. The track loads fine and textures all there, but the game crashes and mentions about the "starting light should show" and "was late had to loop". Also my acu interlagos has the field falling into the abyss at the start. I think i know what's wrong and i gotta hit up surfaces.ini, but not at the computer now, so if anyone else has an idea, halp!

Technically this is my 9th one, so i thought i had done everything right lol. I'll pack them together once i work out the last 2 kinks. All of them except Bahrain will have amateur rain_fx added as well. I've done about a dozen more tracks with rain_fx capabilities as well that came with 40 + grid and pit stops.

Something wrong with me for sure, but I do not understand what you mean.
 
Unfortunately, he continues to argue with me about removing the bumps, something about the original game not having physics, but AC does, so now it's "realistic" and that it's supposed to have jumps. Someone with this kind of "logic" is impossible to deal with.
Maybe if enough NFS fans asked or some modder got permission to fix it, that would be great. Even somewhat smoother that bit would be challenging.
By the way, look what I've done. It had to be done.


I wonder if anyone is working on the Isdera Commendatore 112i.

Happy to say that the Hotel section is no issue for me, only 5 FPS drop.

One thing I will never understand is adding music to a racing video. With many engine sounds I mean.
It doesn't mean I am right, it's just a personal point of view.
 
I think they just exist to showcase the works in progress that he’s working on.

Not quite, because one of them is a paid one (you only have access if donate).
And I think a couple more never been out. That is the reason I asked.
