Not really but for old NFS fans there's huge nostalia factor. like me. It would be a good oval track with that fix. That's all.

His last argument on FB, after someone else said the bumps were wrong.

...again, it's a "bland" track by today's/AC's standards, but someone, maybe a NFS fan, might see the need to update/fix it.

__EASY__ teases. How are his teasing-videos different from any other teasers of the mods to come? I personally don't like teasers much but __EASY__'s teasers are fine because the final release always comes soon after. And very few (literally like three) of his tracks are behind donation.

I think __EASY__ would deserve more recognition for his works, the amount of tracks he has provided us is amazing.
 
Usually caused by the shift down point being too close to the shift up point. On changing up the revs drop below the shift down point so the AI promptly shift down again.

e.g.

I just spent the better part of an hour searching for a cure to my issue. I use T300 with paddle shifter. I do not have separate shifter. While using some older vintage cars when I go to shift up the revs clime into red zone. This over revving can be eliminated when I remember to lift on the throttle when shifting. The key is, 'when I remember" for an older guy is not often enough. I tried in CM but no effect. I am trying to figure out how to eliminate this over revving. I believe the above , ai.ini and drivetrain.ini is the place to make changes ????

Any help in resolving this matter will surely put this B.O.B. in a better mood. thanks again.

You need to remember more! This is intended behavior.

It's really more of a nostalgia thing for most people that remember it, but by today's standards, as is, it's pretty bland (though the trees are nice). With some materials/mapping/shader work, and some road feel, it could be a fun high-speed ring track... and the unrealistic bumps would definitely need to be remedied. ...but, according to the "modder," that's how it's supposed to be. :banghead:

How was the track in NFS2? Maybe the author is right and the bumps were there.
I have the original NFS2 CD somewhere in the drawer. Is it possible to run it under Win10? :D

I've made them after analyzed this video to understand the movement and blade rotating on axis accordingly with the base.

Full wipers added they were missing inside mod, created a chromatic base to mount them over, created animation from sratch. This car is fantastic and so it was deserving working wipers.

Well, SgtKanyo, who I was replying to, doesn't use CM/CSP.

Like you, I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't use it either, since it totally transforms AC.
well. not sure what to say. Not using a free and dramatic upgrade to AC like this is akin to digging your heels in and saying you prefer windows vista..

Open the extension file then search for this line:

Change the frequency to something like 0.02; higher means faster, IIRC

Now if you could animate it with images, like they do on the real thing, that would be impressive--but probably not possible.

Happy to say that the Hotel section is no issue for me, only 5 FPS drop.

I´m jealous, alpha transparencies always slow down my system, not just in this track but in others as well. Maybe there´s some graphics setting somewhere that helps, or maybe I should run my computer on something other than energy saving mode for once :lol:

v0.8 main updates:
-Lighting overhaul; more evenly illuminated throughout the whole track (last sector isn´t overly bright anymore).
-Modified 3D models; fixes flickering and adds some eye candy.
-Lights for specific layouts, labeled A-B-C. You can turn them on/off using BLM Lights app.
-4 visibility levels on BLM lights, 1 for the main stuff, 4 being the most unnecessary lights..

Note: the hotel section still kinda sucks (30 FPS drop for me); this is thanks to the transparency of the roof, not the RGB.

shi actually did the RainFX config for this track (night version of acu), but I applied to this version with the previous 0.4.1 version of this extension and it worked fine. This is it.

honda_nsx_gt3_evo_endurance_acc has a problem with the left front glass. The other 3 are perfect

This is great, thanks! But the left hand wiper leaves a patch of rain on the windscreen. It would be even better if you could fix this.
