RD: Your resource F1 1993 - Overhaul Mod (CM/CSP) was deleted.
Reason: Removed after a copyright claim by *ASR Formula

Any of you guys recommend Sim Dream f1 mods? Are they any good?

Yeah its true, nothing from them is any good or at least worth actually paying for. They release a fair amount of stuff so it would seem their policy must be quantity over quality..

[QUOTE = "Camill08, post: 13271963, member: 310732"] Do you know if this car has been ever make in AC? I didn't find nothing googleing it a part for the kunos street version. It's the Alfa Romeo 33/2

I know someone produced it for a private LM 1967 car pack but I can't remember who .....

Looks like a rFactor / GTR2 rip lol

Maybe a dumb question, but I only just installed Rain FX today, so I'm new to it: where do I need to paste this text file?

Hi,
Okay, so ...
First you need to rename the downloaded file.
Delete .txt from the name and you can extract the packed file easily with software like 7zip or Rar.

About installation of the addon:
I'm not at my PC to make a screenshot for you, but in plain words - extract the patch temporarily somewhere and look at the folder structure of it.
You get folder "sts_bmw_m5_e34" or like that, that you just copy over your installed mod in assetto/content/cars folder

That is for the base car. Run the car in Assetto to check if you did everything correctly and whether it perfectly works. (It has to :D) Then you can follow the short instruction from addon's original post to make it working for all 4 cars in the pack.

Racedepartment was down but now back up for me too.
Wonder why they took down those mods by RMI; people cant read?
Sharing is caring
RSS 1990 I did a data repack option, I could remove that option... but if RSS is going to b1tch about it, forget it. (New colliders is the only way to get this to spark properly)

F1 1993 had SD content (skins and physics? which I heavily edited), which may have been ripped from ASR by SD.
Dyno derived power.lut were my handmade effort

ASR has not removed my additions for their free 1991 cars.

I gave full credits too... too bad for the community.

Can someone fix the XYZ coordinates of the CLS63S, I have no idea how to do it.
I even tried to use the graphics offset, but that only "fixes" the camera issue (not perfectly), but not the collision, the behaviour of the car etc.
This is the stock car:

The problem is not with the collision, the problem is that the car is rotated, moved further back almost like someone did this on purpose.
All of these pictures were taken crashing right into the wall.

Velo did a conversion of this car for a private client.

BIN IT! :D (Throw it to the trash :D)

Those "pesky" modders stealing GTA San Andreas mods, LOL :D

But seriously, wonder why noone else reported such crucial bug. Ops. Maybe others already binned it. LOL

Sorry I was not helpful (beside that quick advice), but i heard that this mod also has no sound and so on, so thankfully i do not have this mod.

Thank you for your sharing.

One of my favorite mods in Assetto Corsa is the wonderful Honda NSX GT3 2016 ACC.

This is an absolutely incredible model and is testament to the talent currently working on Assetto Corsa mods. This model has clearly been crafted by a group of very talented individuals. Not only does it drive better than most Kunos content it's also closer to its real world counterpart data than many of the official cars included in the base game.

Upon watching telemetry and driving the vehicle around the test track I did notice however that the vehicle has a #Steer Lock of 480 degrees [240/C2L] and an actual in game #Steer Ratio of 14:1 based on a slight misalignment with the Lock/Ratio and Rod.

Kunos / Honda / Acura report this vehicle both in real word data and in ACC to have a #Steer Lock of 620 degrees [310/C2L] with of SR of 15:1

The current model therefor has a "very minor" misalignment in this regard. I have uploaded a modified version of the "car.ini" that now matches the specifications for both ACC and the real world data of 310/620/15:1 - 20/40 degrees of rotation at the tire delivered completely linearly [image provided].

I will state that the changes made to this vehicle in particular are very minor. This is primarily due to the incredibly accurate detail entered by the modding team who have clearly put a lot of time and effort into crafting this wonderful vehicle.

While this is a small change of around 140 degrees of total rotation and a slight adjustment to the linear steer rod and steering input delivery, it is enough for wheel users to notice and makes a significant difference when trying to catching the car etc.

The positive thing about all SL/SR/LSRR updates made is that the user can choose to scale back to an older setting by simply reducing the degrees of rotation on their wheel manually so there is no downside.

I will again state that the current members who have worked on this mod have done such an incredible job its virtually perfect, and this adjustment is only really noticeable/significant to wheel users.

I have attached the files for you.

Brilliant. Sometimes minor details bring big changes.

I put in an order for my Oculus Quest 2. I'm getting a VR-boner thinking about AC in VR.

Anyway, Racedepartment down for anyone else.

Good luck with your new VR headset when you get it. Hard for me to go back to flat screen after using my VR for a few years now. I may upgrade to the HP Reverb G2 when it becomes readily available in the US. Still like my Rift S.
