Are there any showrooms out there that actually depict a pitlane/racetrack?`

and how difficult is it to add say 50 bhp to a car?

Not exactly related, but I found a showroom called "needfor_uc" on an italian facebook site, that allows me to create beautiful preview pictures like this one, with no processing time (if configured properly):

Anyone know how to goto content manager/track day and just spectate a field of cars? The only way I know is to wait 10 minutes then watch the replay. /lame

TY

In this file, change allow free cam from 0 to 1. Then in game, pressing F7 allows you to move a free cam around. I used to move the camera to a spectator stands and watch cars drive by. It's also useful for scouting good spectating locations if you plan to go to a track IRL like I did once.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\system\cfg

In case it's useful information about the free camera for anyone that doesn't know, you can adjust the field of view in the camera's .ini file as well. Better yet, cycle through the track cameras with F3 until you find one with the effects you desire - (depth of field, zoom level etc), then press F7 and the track camera's effect will carry over to the free camera. I did it for a sound video (below) a while back, I too really enjoy listening to and spectating all the different cars sometimes.

Damn Son, thats awesome. Thanks to you and Lewis. And what a fantastic idea on IRL spectating, pick the track your going to attend, look at their site for grandstands... and watch different places. Super cool!

Yes I asked the Page before if People do this, pick a track on track day and just let a bunch of cars race around and guess whats coming around the corner

Hi Elio92, Your shots look really nice, what PP filter are you using?
Hi !

I use different PP filters for the shots, It depends of the time dedicated to the session and It depends also of the position of the car.

I also use a personal one which I modify from an original one from AC called... « default » with more brightness and a little bit less color temperature.

When I play, I use one which called « Natural Display » and... I don’t use shaders except the one in the folder « shaders » from AC which can run some tracks or cars.
My AC setting for the gamma is around 75% but all these parameters depend of your monitor and... your preferences.

I’m currently far from my PC but I could, without any problem, make an archive of my PPfilters folder.

Cheers. ;-)

Thanks Elio for the explanation. The "default" one has been my favourite always but I'd like an improvement. If you find the time I'd like your PPfilters folder, thank you.

WORLDS better than the original. But the car still feels very bouncy and has very little downforce for being trackfocused. Doesnt seem to realistic to me but I am still glad that it recieved some love! @Masscot please keep sharing updates like these:cheers:

Thank you, Cote! Getting better as I go, love the learning involved... Right now I am a little limited in the work I can do though that just gives me more room to learn of what I can do... Maybe soon I can get into the 3D editing part a bit because there is some work to be done there too with some of these mods. It's great, they appear so simple though but when we get involved we see the vast complexity that derives to form of simplicity... quiet illusory simplicity ;)
I am enjoying some of your cars brought to life, but why do you put ABS and TC on every single one of them? Even on the MP4-13, and Jaguar Group C car, when they never had it originally?

Hi !

@Apexxer explained it previously. ;-)
It’s about players who could only have a joystick for playing (I didn’t use "driving"), it’s a kind thought !

but you can enable these aids in the game itself, so why put it in cars? kind of ruins the immersion, and simulation aspect of these, also sounds of MP4-13 are clipping awfully on high revs

I mean your immersion is up to you. Since its not required to run ABS/TC on the cars. I don't use a controller but I'm sure people that do really appreciate being able to drive cool cars.

Yes, it's up to him. But the game brings a pretty good set of options for you to configure your immersion/driving experience. Messing with the car to achieve the immersion you want is wrong, if you ask me.

It's particularly wrong if you think these changes will be made in the "data.acd" file, meaning it must go through a checksum when playing online.

Wow wow wow !

From my point of view, if a player desires to virtually « drive », he musn’t use a joystick or a keyboard, no way, he have to buy a wheel and a good one, a very good pedals set and play only with the cockpit view !!!

BUT..!
According the kind thought of @Apexxer for the casual players, OK, without a touch of realism police.
I got no helmet, no gloves, no racing shoes, no buttkicker, no competition seat, no triple monitors, no suffering about G-Force and I never put my butt in a Formula 1 car, a monster as a Can-Am car, a terrific Porsche 917K, a collapsing McLaren MP4/4, am I wrong ?
Meanwhile, I always put 100% Turbo, I’m not using TC (when It’s historically correct) or any help except clutch.

So, you are able to disable these horrible things which seems absolutely a shame, in the proper car settings. ;-)

@Apexxer did some great « reborn », according to him to made the things on his way... when you can disable it easily.

Cheers. ;-)
