Since I've got many pms: Final update to the GTP-physic-swapped DPi's. I think all of the previous issues have been fixed, as well as some additional improvements implemented.

I'll definitely be criticized by the likes of Rusty for example, for whom I'd reply: I'm fully aware of my sin  but it's worse to leave something undriveable lingering 'round.

how do you solve the problem of the ban sign?

Acquisizione-a-schermo-intero-29112020-132706.png

The "wrong way" sign is a png image located in content\texture
You can rename it for backup reasons and replace it with this empty file:

Bathurst DG???

This is the RT Bathurst, apologies if i have tagged the wrong person but yea theres a hole here that wouldnt trouble normal vehicles except in this case
Yeah, I did not contribute to rt_bathurst.

There is a new-old Bathurst from a mobile game, never saw that version before so I put it in AC. Link is in my signature
I have updated it, but have not uploaded a new version yet.

Hi Guys.
Can anybody help please. Can i change exsisting replay cameras so they show the cars closer to camera like zooming in. Maybe change FOV or something. I play in VR and closer the better. Many thanks.
Kenny.

I wanted to publicly thank @FileMissing aka "the equilibrist" he knows why for giving me some afternoons of pure fun like I haven't done for years. I "fast and furious" more furious than fast, I can guarantee you that he is very strong so train. Up for grabs is a special recipe to be prepared comfortably at home, your home, so get involved.
Jokes aside thank you and 1000 times thank you for taking the time to entertain others especially at this pivotal time when it seems like the forum has gotten into a nasty stalemate. We must think above all to have fun. Thanks @FileMissing thanks GtPlanet.
the last weeks playing daytona usa joining in hotlaps has been the most fun sine years where is the next hotlap :gtpflag:

The MIN_FOV and MAX_FOV can be lowered to increase the zoom. MIN_FOV is the degree of zoom at the car's farthest point from the camera and the MAX_FOV is at the car's closest point. Also, FOV_GAMMA determines the speed of the zoom transition. Smaller numbers=slower transition.

Thanks to @SpeedStar2000 for all the help with the grid lineups and skins.

Additionally:
Kenneth released an update for the R8 IMSA GTO (v2.1) which made changes to the geometry of the vehicle.
Here is a fix that re-adjusts the handling based on the new geometry along with some setup corrections.

This version of the handling patch and setup changes are ONLY applicable to v2.1.
I have sent Kenneth the patch and setup changes ready for the next update, however I have also attached it here (below screenshot) for those who want to apply it to v2.1 manually rather than wait for an update.

Thank you for explaining it. Would I need to do both at the same time and by how much at a time. Many thanks.

Without using the editor it is purely trial and error, while the outcomes will be highly dependent upon the location of the camera you are changing. Maybe lowering them by 10 at a time will help you zero in on the settings you prefer. It doesn't matter whether you change both at the same time. The issue will be which one(s) you wish to change from the original setting to match your preference.

If you download the version that @Paulo Ribeiro posted, you'll see that the version changed from 0.7 to 0.72.
I haven't compared yet, but something must have changed.
And updating in CM is (imo) a pita.

Edit: at first (quick) glance I don't see any changes (bar changing the version number), but I need to look closer I guess...
Update 0.72 was released 6 days ago, November 23rd.

Changelog v0.72 ( I took this from their FB page):
  • fixed sound bugs
  • tweaked bop of Alpine, KTM and Sin R1
  • fixed rpm lights Sin R1

After i finish the 996 GT2 i will do the vette C5 ZO6
after that any suggestions on what should i work on next?

You seem to be one of the few people that appreciates cars from early 2000 onward, so I'd suggest any of the following that to my knowledge aren't in AC yet:

- Aston Martin DB7 Vantage
- Aston Martin Vanquish (First Gen)
- Cadillac XLR-V
- Jaguar XKR (First Gen)
- Mercedes SL55 AMG
- Noble M12 GTO
- Noble M400
- TVR Tuscan
- TVR Tamora
- TVR Typhon
- VW Nardo W12

Any of those would be very cool to have, albeit getting reasonable models probably isn't easy (most I believe are in Test Drive: Unlimited but not sure where else) and if all the Aston Martins are gone from Gamemodels.ru then they may well be impossible.

Noticing shadows missing from IXA Project's Corvette C7 Z06. I do not have any 3D software. Can this be fixed? The only shadow that does appear is the driver. :(

This can be fixed without any 3D software. Use the CM showroom to unpack the KN5, then open the .FBX file in the KS Editor (found in your AC game folder under sdk -> editor), you then can navigate around the car right clicking on each car object and making sure that cast shadow is set to true. Once done, save the KN5 over the original (back it up first).

I will warn you that this car is another candidate for the absolute worst that I've ever worked on, fixing the shadows will get you about 1% of the issues sorted...

EDIT - Ignore the above, I just remembered that the Z06 can't be unpacked for some reason, you either have to accept the shocking state it comes in or rename the KN5 from the C7 Grandsport and copy that over the Z06 KN5.

?? , I started from 0 for physics to be closer to reality and it is very well as its and appreciated by virtually all ....

The Porsche Singer (is a street car) are recent cars with an old bodywork so absolutely nothing to see

Thanks
Well, the suspension geometry, including motion ratios will be similar if not identical for a touring car, and the base model 964 aero will largely transfer over. It might be using RS rollbars as well, which I have calculated out IIRC. I meant that an existing base with a lot of ready-made calculations and research exists, so you could have looked at it, and I give you permission to use what you want, to save time and raise the quality.

i have a question: how to adjust the top speed? With this motor power this porsche reaches top speed at 260 km/h. I can only reach with this car 240km/h. The transmission is not adjustable. I think, this would be the solution, if it will bes possible to adjust...

I just experienced something strange last night while playing, and was wondering if anyone else has ever had the same issue.
I lost all sounds to the cars I was driving, both interior and exterior. Racing the crsh_porsche_911_gt3_r_2019, the ks_porsche_911_rsr_2018 and the
acfsk_911_rsr_20 at rt_mont_tremblant, all went silent. No other cars are affected just these. And I had just done a 25 lap race, watched a bit of replay and started a new race, when I lost sounds. tried the other Porsche, same, next Porsche same, tried other tracks same.
Tried a Lambo, no problem, called it quits for the night before anything else broke!:nervous:

Downloaded new sound mods and everything works again, just kinda weird though.
