i have a question: how to adjust the top speed? With this motor power this porsche reaches top speed at 260 km/h. I can only reach with this car 240km/h. The transmission is not adjustable. I think, this would be the solution, if it will bes possible to adjust...

Yes, why anybody would build a race car incapable of going no more than 140 mph and give it a fixed transmission with a theoretical Vmax of 212 mph is beyond me. Using CM, open up the data.acd and swap the gearbox info from almost any Porsche 911 you fancy and repack the .acd. Completely transforms the car...and ruins it for online racing. Your choice.

Sol 2.0 beta 16 https://www.mediafire.com/file/kiasunjzjemvm74/Sol_2.0_Beta_16.7z/file
- filter: reworked sun_brightness_link
- filter: reworked CSP lights control
# controlling of bounced light
# controlling of emissive light
# both dependent of overcast, cloud shadows and scenery brightness

- sol_config: removed parameter "global_CSP_emissives_night_maximum" (Page 5)
- sol_config: added nerd options for CSP lights (Page 21)
# nerd__csp_lights_adjust.bounced_day, default 0
# nerd__csp_lights_adjust.bounced_night, default 1.00
# nerd__csp_lights_adjust.emissive_day, default 0.65
# nerd__csp_lights_adjust.emissive_night, default 1.15

- debug: separated CSP lights debug output to bounced and emissive light, "sol__debug__graphics"

Without using the editor it is purely trial and error, while the outcomes will be highly dependent upon the location of the camera you are changing. Maybe lowering them by 10 at a time will help you zero in on the settings you prefer. It doesn't matter whether you change both at the same time. The issue will be which one(s) you wish to change from the original setting to match your preference.
Many thanks. Will have a play around to see what works.

I have some Carrera Cup data laying around too

You did a great job on the "Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.0 Group 4", would the Carrera Cup be fairly similar?

I hope we will have a chance to try your physic on the Cup some time. I hope you 2 can work together to bring the best and more accurate 964 Carrera Cup physic to AC, so much efforts have been infuse into it already, it looks really stunning.

Not at all. The RSR 3.0 is based on pre-930 narrowbody chassis with some changes to it. The Cup is a 964 with less modifications done and an overall more modern suspension.

If somebody makes a *good* convert/models me a good 964 of any kind, I'd probably make physics for it eventually. Roadcars would be easier, most of the physics are done for most of the RWD ones.

Guys i have a problem. I just started an session with the DPis at the Nurburgring. Quali went fine, but suddenly at he end of the 2nd lap, the game crashed. Has anyone got this problem aswell and if so, do you got a fix?

Can we request mods? If yes I want to make a request for these 2 tracks below:

- TOSFED İzmit Körfez Circuit / Turkey

127217046-10159215546633534-2089928539208858760-o.jpg

- İzmir Ülkü Park (Aegean Circuit) / Turkey

127120484-10159215546683534-1985731621648915719-o.jpg

These 2 and Istanbul Park are the only tracks in Turkey that hosts TCC (called TPŞ). For those who looks for some base models, there's a BeamNG version of the Ülkü Park and some alpha versions of Körfez at SRTR.

You can try to build upon them or start fresh. That's your choice.

- Ülkü Park is known for Drift and Drag events along with endurance racing.
- Ülkü Park has several layouts for different events and recently the track resurfaced for new layout.
- Körfez Circuit has a Karting track.
- Körfez Circuit is the oldest track in Turkey. It's not using for trackdays anymore but on specific occasions it's hosting events such as e-vehicle contests.
And the image below is exact comparision of the tracks with basic information.

Good luck and thank in advance to all.

Not only "like" but +1 these requests. Most important tracks of Turkey after İstanbul Park.

Always watched Körfez and wondered how to set up a line to race on. thanks, man.
"körfez'i videolarda görüyorum ve hep merak etmişimdir, teşekkürler."

You seem to be one of the few people that appreciates cars from early 2000 onward, so I'd suggest any of the following that to my knowledge aren't in AC yet:

- Aston Martin DB7 Vantage
- Aston Martin Vanquish (First Gen)
- Cadillac XLR-V
- Jaguar XKR (First Gen)
- Mercedes SL55 AMG
- Noble M12 GTO
- Noble M400
- TVR Tuscan
- TVR Tamora
- TVR Typhon
- VW Nardo W12

Any of those would be very cool to have, albeit getting reasonable models probably isn't easy (most I believe are in Test Drive: Unlimited but not sure where else) and if all the Aston Martins are gone from Gamemodels.ru then they may well be impossible.

This can be fixed without any 3D software. Use the CM showroom to unpack the KN5, then open the .FBX file in the KS Editor (found in your AC game folder under sdk -> editor), you then can navigate around the car right clicking on each car object and making sure that cast shadow is set to true. Once done, save the KN5 over the original (back it up first).

I will warn you that this car is another candidate for the absolute worst that I've ever worked on, fixing the shadows will get you about 1% of the issues sorted...

EDIT - Ignore the above, I just remembered that the Z06 can't be unpacked for some reason, you either have to accept the shocking state it comes in or rename the KN5 from the C7 Grandsport and copy that over the Z06 KN5.

Gibbons - I was able to correct the shadows on the Z06 so now shadows are cast. Everything else, ehhh. It drives like the Kunos C7 just with a bit more power. :) I collect corvettes for my Dad who joins in racing. Thanks for the input!

I just experienced something strange last night while playing, and was wondering if anyone else has ever had the same issue.
I lost all sounds to the cars I was driving, both interior and exterior. Racing the crsh_porsche_911_gt3_r_2019, the ks_porsche_911_rsr_2018 and the
acfsk_911_rsr_20 at rt_mont_tremblant, all went silent. No other cars are affected just these. And I had just done a 25 lap race, watched a bit of replay and started a new race, when I lost sounds. tried the other Porsche, same, next Porsche same, tried other tracks same.
Tried a Lambo, no problem, called it quits for the night before anything else broke!:nervous:

Downloaded new sound mods and everything works again, just kinda weird though.
Yes, I've lost sounds too. Now comes the "fun" of why and where to get them again. Always something.

Have you reported it to Crash on their discord? I haven't used the 2019 GT3R or 2020 RSR in any races yet. Now I'm hesitant. Might have to remove the mods for the time being.

You can add line SHAPE_SIZE=1 in the config and make the grass taller by increasing the value. If that's what you meant.

yes too, but i would also like to change the texture to the one present on highlands

TNX, now i have highland grass but there is an little problem

Have you reported it to Crash on their discord? I haven't used the 2019 GT3R or 2020 RSR in any races yet. Now I'm hesitant. Might have to remove the mods for the time being.

I've noticed at various times while racing or watching a replay that at times a particular ai car would be silent, that is to say it wouldn't have any external sounds, so I would have to reinstall a sound mod and it would be fine, but never with three different models which I was trying, one after another like that.
can you direct me to the proper Discord channel?

As promised, here is AKR's Newcastle 2019, also threw in the free version of The Bend Motorsport Park too, as it seems that not everyone has that track either. Made small changes to both (mainly just added geotags and changed the track preview image)

Enjoy!

I hope @RenaultDJRTP doesn't mind. I asked @shi about Newcastle, and he was able to fix the pit box and starting grid positions for the track. Grid sized was reduced to 23 to accommodate the changes.
