This looks so cool! There isn't many company's test track available here, WISH to see that Honda Japan test track to make an appearance (I think I have seen it in those old Best Motoring videos)

ALSO, is that a modified Subaru Legacy mod?

Hi All.
Can anybody please give me some advice please. When I download replay camera sets I can't see all sets.below
is an example of what I find.
Cameras. tv1
Camera 1. tv2
Camera 2. tv3
Camera 3. tv4
Then when I watch the replay I only see 2 camera sets pressing F3 to change camera. When I have watched a lap I change to next camera set I play in VR and watch replays in VR. Any help please. Many thanks.

- Fixed all engines damage treshold. Now all engines will resist ~10 to 15 sec of max rpm before terminal faliure at neutral gear.

- Fixed default drivereyes position.

- Reduced brake torque by 5%

Results of quick stress test with default kunos Audi and Toyota( all cars on soft tyres, AI 100/100% )

FM7 Le Mans:

Car already produces less downforce and more drag than Kunos Toyota. Let me know if there are more issues.

Thank you for this track, driving the GT-R in VR on a Gran Turismo track, is one of the threat I indulged in this afternoon. A better GT experience than GT can ever be, priceless.

try renaming file-format to ".ini"
eg: cameras.tv1 to cameras.ini and so forth...

To all the brainiacs in this thread trying to mess with the physics of encrypted cars for no reason at all besides OCD, you can't as far as I'm aware.

Along with the kn5 the data.acd is also hashed and as such whenever there is a change to it the car will make your game crash to desktop/not boot due to mismatched hashes. In more extreme cases you can't even unpack the data.acd without it directly breaking the car or spitting an error out.

Please just contact the authors and physics developers involved with the cars, and make sure your adjustments / suggestions are based on real life behaviour of the vehicle not just what you "feel" is correct if you choose to do so.
 
Subaru test tracks - Bifuka proving ground for Assetto Corsa

G'day, mates.

Latly i was working on one track, located in the north of Japan. Track, that far from being famous. This tracks is also far from motor-racing. BUT....it's kind of unique. Big test park of Subaru company, made for different types of road car testings.

And being Subaru Legacy owner, i would like to bring more Subaru stuff to virtual world.

What i did is took the track is remade this Proving ground to race track! (some imagination)

Some brief overview of location:

This is a Subaru test course スバル美深試験場 (Subaru Research and Experiment Center Bifuka Proving Ground) in Niupu, Bifuka-cho, Nakagawa-gun, Hokkaido. The Bifuka Proving Ground was opened in 1995. Until the test site was opened in 1995, we had repeated driving tests on ordinary roads in this area. Established in 1995 as a research and development base for winter snow tests, we have been conducting research and development mainly to build cars that can be driven safely even in cold regions.

In addition to various test roads and handling roads in the total site area of

361 hectares, a high-speed circuit was added in 2003, and various tests are conducted throughout the year as a test course that looks like an actual public road.


Location on google maps

Track made from scratch, using RTB, google maps, and some Kunos objects.

Track contains 4 layouts:
#1 High-speed circuit - total length 4.2km. Can be extended in future updates with extra loop already presented on 3D map.

Really interesting high speed road with old chool racing turns. The track is fun for road cars and classic retro race cars. Modern GT3 is not best choise for here, my oppinion.

Release version Support race (not weekend) with 27 Ai and good replay cam.

#2 Mountaing toge course is 2.0 km. Short, but very very tricky road.

Probably this test course is usnig for suspension tests or even for mud running. But i saw it has potential to be high-level toge circuit with up and down hill combined. No rail guards, so should be carefull here =)

I believe there is a legacy at assettoland. But we really need some of the legacy's from Grand Turismo and with all the fans, no one ever made a forester?
 
Merry Christmas: Albi 1967 RainFX.

I ended up spending more time on this config than I expected, partly because many of the assets are mapped separately. But also, for aesthetic reasons, I ended up getting what I feel are more saturated textures to things like tile roofs and grandstands by including them in the SOAKING properties. This IS, I think, a rather aged mod, albeit by some of the most experienced and celebrated track modders/converters from the rFactor 1 days.

Murphy, thank *YOU* so much! My dad used to watch races there when he was a young man from around 1960 to 1973. He used to travel all over Britain and France and watch everything from F1 to Saloon Cars. Have a very Merry Christmas, racing my dad on this track and Silverstone 67 over the holiday is going to be a gift for both of us. Thanks again! :)

and uncomment section!

Thanks leBluem. I tried that, but it didn't seem to fix the problem.... but now I've just realised I probably still have an old config for the track in the main CSP extension folder so I'll remove that and try again.

EDIT: Just checked and I don't have an old conflicting config, so I'm still puzzled. Maybe I don't properly understand what you mean by the instruction to "uncomment section".

Nice bridge with those Breil billboards... but I still can't get rid of the flickering shadows on the trees beyond it. I've tried following leBluem's instructions, but I don't see any change.

Maybe I'm being just a numpty and doing something wrong with the config "uncomment" instruction, but I don't know what it is! :confused:

EDIT: Hmmm. I think I am doing the right thing as when I "uncomment" the line in the config, there are less trees on the distant mountainside, but... what's still there flickers anyway, just like before (only with less trees).

hi mate! Assettoland has old version of it. I reworked shaders and a little bit physics, to match real Legacy BM. Will upload it later i think. Stock version, presented in videos (with some STI exhaust and read spoiler), and really want to make race modification in WTCC style, for adding it to the pack
i thought there is quite a lot Subarus in AC. Really proper made 22B, SVX, new and old imprezas, and my lkegacy BM (i think so ^^). Old legacy (first gen) - this one really need physics rework.
Forester...yes, i was looking for 3D model to convert it but was not succeed in it, unfortunatly...

But still there is a chance of converting 360, BRAT and Legacy BL

I love stories like this.. hearing some history of what makes something significant for someone, and also provides a connection between you and your dad. It makes me that much happier to tap into something special for people.
While I was creating and testing the config, I was running laps in Bazza's new '67 F1 McLaren M2B, with a range of other vintage open wheelers, and it reminded me how satisfying this simple, yet infectious circuit is.
So thanks for bringing me back here, now for all weather fun.

Take the time it needs to be a wholesome release... Drove the Mountain Touge layout, back-2-back with Circuit Race, and it took some laps to get used to a new rhythm, more rally-style of course, and using the terrain lots more for less-bumpy laps and grip (tyre2surface) where needed for direction-change (in terms of steer, throttle, gear & clutch)... As it stands, without the safety-fencing, it presents a more challenging circuit to master... Suppose the AI may need the fencing more than us... Plus, also need to drive it with a more appropriate car, any offers? Something with a higher-than-normal-collider, or none, maybe?

Yes, Ai behaves very bad on such tracks (but its about AC engine...). Didn't made walls to make it more challenging, exactly.
I think non-modified cars are good. Or probbaly some dakar jeeps)) dont know. When drive Legacy in few places it feels big bumps, but same as in real life, just brake earlier a bit, for more smooth ride.
Probably soome suvs like Panamera can suit your desires about it? They are high enough

So i'm gonna need some help here , i just updated my CSP and CM and now whenever i load a car the game crashes and if it does load i have no break lights , flames from the exhaust , nada it's all sorts of wonky and i'm kinda lost , so any help? much appreciated in advance !

On circuit layout, pits are not working well.
Pit box only highligts (allowing us to stop) after we are almost at the pit exit.
Pitty pit.

I hope this can be fixed.
