Lienz RainFX

A labour of love for a favourite circuit of mine that was converted from the rFactor 1 version, that also had a "hi-res" texture pack created for it. So despite efforts, the bones are a bit rough, but it's better than I remember in AC and still a blast to drive, and feels like a great adventure every lap. And I hoped a RainFX config would freshen it up a little bit more.

You've done a great job with Midfield/Apricot, and seeing what a PITA it is to actually convert GT Sport tracks from the source code I think a scratch-built homage to Dragon Trail would prove extremely popular..?



The track has been extracted so you could even trace the correct geometry.

Can anyone guide me how to fix the problem that when in cockpit camera and some cars in front speeding away they have some parts transparent and when you approach them them the car is getting back all its parts?

Has it something to do with lods.ini and if yes from my car or from other cars?

I thought exactly the same, Dragon Trail with all its variants would be very interesting, especially for those of us who do not have PS4.
 
Some fixes to the Bolide by GIBBONS:
- Fixed windows glass
- Full AO map on body paint (can now be painted in CM)
- Full AO map and retexturing and reshading of all carbon fibre
- Shader adjustment on almost all exterior areas and multiple texture changes
- Separate exhaust material and shader
- Fixed rear lights to work as both brakes and normal rear lights
- New ambient shadows

Hi.

Open the 'invisible' car data, open the lods.ini, scroll to the [lod] OUT=... change this value to 1500 or 2000 or 2500.
Hopefully, next time you will see that car, whatever the distance it is to you.

How do you do these so quick? Loading up the fbx in KS editor and saving each camera to an ini manually? Or is there some better in game app now? The reason I don't do cams is it takes an age, so thanks for doing this!

Opaque Windows
I've tried this 0.3.0 in VR, and the windows are opaque gray, whereas the previous version that was improved with windows and shaders work, didn't have opaque windows. The only issue I have with the previous version is that the dashboard is blank.

If the opaque windows could be corrected, and maybe a few more adjustments, this should be pretty good.

I just don't know where to provide feedback to whoever's working on it.

Ok, I need to work on this mod.. This 0.3.0 version is full bugged.. my bad.

Thanks for the help. 2000 out did the trick. I am sure I ve done this before in the past.
