Do I need to create a txt file with these lines and call it Bernese Alps and put it in the extension->config->tracks->loaded or I just need to add these lines in the existing ext_config file?
Add this línes in current Ext_config.ini and enjoy!

I´ve put LODS into the M3 E46 SMG II. Also I´ve put the original rims. Hope you like it better.

Thanks. This tries to overwrite an existing mod - have you thought about renaming your car folders (maybe with a jf_ prefix?) to make them unique? This will also group them together in the folder list and make yours easier to find.
Renaming cars doesn't take long at all, especially if you replace the sound from the existing mod rather than manually edit the sound bank.

(edit: there's a lot of stuff in the car folder that's not needed as well, fbx files etc.
And shouldn't it have gated shifting rather than paddles with data/drivetrain.ini/SUPPORTS SHIFTER = 1?)

I second this. I want to compare and decide which car I prefer, before deleting the one I like least. Same for tracks.
 
The 360 Challenge Stradale is done, as the 458 Speciale and 488 Pista ;)

I kindly ask one or more links to road tracks when you can fly with the car, due to sudden changes of elevation or hunps on the road.
I am also looking for tracks with many movable objects (for example cones...) .

I was wondering if anybody could with how possible it (and how to go about) a few things:

1. Would there be a fairly easy way (For somebody with no real history of making or editing mods) to get a more realistic looking Mt. Fuji into both the RT Fuji Speedway & the Fuji67 versions? (for me both are just like silhouettes in the distance)

&

2. Any way to edit Legion's Nissan R382 to remove the fantasy rear wing?

P.S.: OSRW & ACU version has Circular texture on back straight bridge (vodafone one). That's the old version. This one on the other hand has no circular texture on that same bridge. That's the SRTR version. That way you can differ from each other.

I do @browser, which I found odd and I reverted back to the version I was using prior.

I hope everyone's doing well. I was wondering if anyone has a version of the Shuto Expressway C1 track with better AI lines and/or a larger grid? It's pretty similar to Tokyo expressway from GT sport and I wanted to recreate a race, though to my dismay the max grid size is 11 cars.

  • I would like @RMi_wood to look into this and see what's going on... DTA.

Or there's this (better?) version that has better grass textures (activate grass skin), GrassFX instead of the old vanilla grass, RainFX config, billboard skins, animated balloons, blimp and helicopters and some other stuff.

It still has the round Vodafone bit on the gantry though, so maybe you could combine the best of both?
 
I keep in mind to rename the folder so no other car is overwritten. I´ve done it now with the 360 CS, but the Showroom doesn´t start (don´t know why)

Great physics work. Tried the BMW (had a more or less similar one IRL long time ago..). Is it correct the great interior sound of the Ferrari is the same as exterior during replay? Both drive really good!

you should've used a better 360CS, this one is garbage
 
Any expert of AI like @KevinK2 have time to make Ironbanks Hills AI? The dev of the track is not yet released a version with it and there's no way to make cams for it without AI line and no, i'm not the one who can do fast ai, i'm fast on track, but when i try to make AI and Pitlane i always crash 213908243904209359023 times -.- XD

@BrainsBush, I usually equalize the sounds by my taste: volume, pitch, delete some effects, use some external sounds on interior view...My objective is to get the sound as real as possible (by my taste). Sometimes the exterior sounds match better the dashcam :)

Some special cars with unique sounds, like the M3 E46 or this 360 CS, are difficult to get 100% accurate unless some AMA FMOD appears :P

The pne I posted is better. Trust me. It has 2nd DRS zone too.

SOrry for my 'bad explanation' the interior sound is great. Sounds like a beast but when changing camera from interior to exterior I get the exact same interior sound when watching F3 TV cams. Is that only happening on my side? PS Keep up the good work!

I would likely re-optimize the track as much as possible first.
Honestly there are a few other projects at the moment that need attention firstly.

@RMi_wood I think they were referring to the “Suspicious Background Activity Notifications” under the latest version of CSP, and that you might be in a position to comment on whether this is likely anything to worry about...
 
Lancia 037 EVO 2 Group B

Here yo have the great Group B monster on its Evo 2 version. I know!, it is the stradale 3D model. Problem is the real group B model in Assetto Corsa is scaled way too big! (it is like 40-50 cm bigger than it should). Hope someone makes a skin and put on the rally version details or interior in this model (or someone does a correct sized 3D model of the rallye version).

This version is well scaled.

Anyway, when you'll drive it, you forget about the model ;)

Sound is by amazing AMA FMOD.

Physics are made by me, using all the real data after hours of reading and watching videos. I found a video where you can see the speed telemetry and full acceleration of the car till 195 km/h, so I could time the accelerations and make them as real as they get ;)

Also gear ratios, torque/power curves, steering ratio...all of them are like the real car.

Rather than just trust you, please say how yours is better apart from a 2nd DRS zone and a Vodafone disc removed from a bridge? It would help me to understand your argument.
IMO the grass textures look worse, there's no RainFX prep, no GrassFX (just those horrible vanilla grass strips), some textures are oversaturated, and it's quite a sterile environment with no animated objects. In a nutshell it doesn't take advantage of any of the recent enhancements that the custom shader patch allows. It seems very dated.
Both use the ACU track as the base so both are evolutions of the same track, so the best parts of both could be combined into one.

Folks, I need help please. I have to let the cat out of the bag... I was hoping to keep it a surprise, but cannot get it to work.

To celebrate the spirit of racing, I wanted to take the origins of fighter pilots wanting to use their skills in racing to the next level with the Union C 'Reboot' project.

As part of the release a I am working with one of the best skinners to make era correct skins of fighters from around the globe and it is already looking amazing.

I have 3 things left for this to be completed. 1) digital instruments, 2) wiper, 3) single light, front and back. This way, we can get to use the car at night and in rain with some effects. I can probably do 3 myself, but cannot do 1 and 2.

Now for the ask. I am looking to add an airplane like "HUD" for the Union C. One that wont be intrusive, but display a few details like speed and gear, which the Union C don't have as part of its analog gauges.

I have done everything I know to get it to work. I added a dummy, added the glass, added the digitial_instruments.ini data, linked it to the dummy and just NOTHING shows up. I want to keep the existing analog gauges working and just add the following two items to the digital instruments.ini.

I would also like to add a mini wiper to the window for when it rains. Like an old fighter plane style wiper.

I am therefore turning to this community to see if anyone can help me please.

Would you know it, at my wits end, I just got the HUD to work.... I had to set the display as a child to the dummy (parent)

I did help with the skin pack only to blackcelica. I'm not the author of the mod. I'm sharing under Enver's permission.

What I experinced is:
- Grip and track is better.
- Has night lights.
- Grass is good enough for my taste.
- Rain? I didn't used it ever. So on that one you'll be the experinced one.
- GT4s, F1s and some other fast car mods are work better with it. (No China or Malaysia slipperyness i mean)
- Skin is a good +
- Also with good AI, DRS and other stuff, I prefer this one.

And yes all of İstanbul Park's are same base F1 2011 (Actually GRID)... but ACU's version has some lighting issues on grandstands. I don't like that look. So, you can download and judge it by yourself. It's not switch ACU track or it's data.
